“Hey!” Eli shouted and slapped me on the shoulder.

“What now?” I asked her.

I’m currently at Eli’s house. I visited her because I’m bored in my condo. It’s been almost two months since I got back to this place.

“I’ve been talking here but you’re not listening.”

“I’m sorry I was just thinking about many things.” I said.

I shook quickly. “We haven’t met again, the last time we talked was when we went to Hacienda Hernandez .” I answered him.

He walked over to us and put down the food he was carrying

“You are so stupid Marcus! You shouldn’t have opened that topic,” Eli shouted at her cousin.

“It’s been a while since we saw each other. I thought that you had no plan to go back to this place after what happened.” Marcus turned to me without even paying attention to what his cousin was saying.

Suddenly I felt sad and remorseful. I really became selfish when I left because I was afraid I didn’t even think about them leaving without even saying goodbye properly.

Soon we heard another voice that was obviously just coming and when I recognized who it was I quickly stood up and hugged her tightly.

“Zey.” I said softly.

“How are you Agatha?” she asked me.

“Wait, why are you here? Aliens are not allowed here. ” Marcus groaned.

Zey raised an eyebrow at him. “So, why are you here? If aliens are not allowed here, you shouldn’t be here also. ”

Marcus and Eli laughed at what my best friend said and turned her gaze to me again. “Oh why are you silent now? Is that how you act when you see a goddess like me?” she said while laughing.

“I-I just don’t know what to say because I can’t believe you’re here in front of me right now.” I honestly said.

“I’m probably your best friend. It’s only natural for you to see me.”

“It’s been two months since I came back but you didn’t manage to visit me in my condo.” I said.

“You were the one who didn’t show up to me when you came back from the successful projects of the Montreal Company and then I found out that you left again.” she said.

“I’m sorry Zey, a lot of things really happened that’s why. And I know that you are also busy so I don’t want to disturb you.” I said.

“I understand. You don’t need to say sorry, okay? ”

I couldn’t hold back my tears when she hugged me. I miss my best friend so much, I thought she was mad at me.

FASTFORWARD

I’m on my way to my condo now because I went to Montreal Company earlier because Marcus needed to talk to me about something important and I didn’t want to keep him waiting so I went early. We also didn’t talk for a long time because he still had a meeting so after he told me what I should know, I went home immediately.

When I entered my condo, I found Zey sitting on the sofa while watching TV. “I thought you were still asleep when I arrived but I didn’t see you in your room. I have cooked you something to eat. ” she said.

“Are you still upset with me?” I asked her.

She looked at me quickly. “What do you mean? We already talked yesterday, right?”

“I know you well Zey. Even if you said that we are okay.” I said.

“Who wouldn’t be upset that I didn’t see you when you came back from your work with Marcus and then suddenly you left again without even saying goodbye to me, you can call me but you didn’t do it. ” she said.

“I’m sorry, I have a plan to visit you when Marcus and I get back here but we have another client to deal with that’s why I didn’t manage to inform you and I thought that you are busy with your work. And when I got time I didn’t expect that something would happen that would cause me to leave again.” I explained.

She sighed. “I know, don’t worry, I’m not mad at you, I’m just upset but forget that what’s more important now is that you’re back.” she whispered and hugged me.

“Oh, cut this drama already and eat. I know you are hungry. ” she suddenly said.

“Thank you for this.” I said while smiling.

I took the food he cooked from the table and started eating. Because I couldn’t have breakfast when I left earlier and I just took out coffee.
