Ethan POV

An hour has passed since Agatha left, I was so hurt by the words she left out that I didn’t know that she could say those things to me without even showing remorse on her face.

When she left, I waited for her because I was wondering if she might come back, but it took an hour for Agatha to come back, why should I still hope I know that it will be vague.

I even ordered alcohol and drowned myself, wanting to forget even for a moment, if there was only a heart anesthetic to not feel pain I would have bought it.

I felt dizzy and then I left the bar. When I got in my car I immediately started the engine and started to drive. To this day, the words Agatha left me have not left my mind.

Why did I hope that when she came but she still loves me? I didn’t think that she had already left me for how many times. She is hurting me but I still love her. And now that she said that in front of me that she no longer loves me, I should accept it.

I’m smart and good at running a business but I became a fool to a woman who can’t reciprocate the love I give to her. Maybe Agatha is happy because she played with the feelings of Hernandez.

While I was driving, I didn’t notice that my tears were dripping, this is how maybe I feel pain.

This is the last time I will be crazy about Agatha because the next time we meet I will make sure I don’t feel any love for her anymore. I will make her regret that she broke me into pieces.

I reached for my phone to call Gian and when I got it I looked back at the road but I didn’t notice that I had encountered a truck, it was too late before I could turn the steering wheel and I just felt the impact of my car in the truck. I didn’t know what happened next because my head suddenly hurt and my vision went dark immediately.

Gian POV

I woke up to the noise of my phone, it was almost two in the morning and I didn’t expect anyone to call me at this hour.

I got up and picked up my phone where I laid it down before I went to sleep. I looked at the caller and saw it was Ethan.

“Hello, who’s this?” I ask.

“Sir, is Mr. Ethan Hernandez your friend?” voice on the other line.

“Yes, why?” I answered.

“I just wanted to let you know that he was rushed here to the **** hospital because he had an accident.”

When I heard that my spirit suddenly awoke, I quickly put on my jacket and then took my car key to go to where my friend was.

As I was driving I couldn’t help but think, how could he have had an accident? What time is it and did he go? He will not drink without any reason and he also limits himself because he still drives home.

When I got to the hospital I immediately went inside.

“Hello, someone called me earlier because my friend was brought here.” I asked one of the nurses.

“Is Mr. Hernandez, your friend? I’m the one who called you Sir, he is still in the Emergency room.”

I thanked her and went straight to the front of the ER to wait for the doctor to come out, I really don’t know what happened. I’m just hoping that  Ethan is safe.

It’s been almost an hour but still no one is coming out of the ER so I feel even more scared of my friend’s condition.

I’ve been back and forth walking a few times. Soon the ER door opened and a doctor came out so I quickly approached him.

“How is my friend doc.” I asked immediately.

“He lost a lot of blood so we had to transfuse him and he had a lot of bruises, especially on his hand and arm. We also conducted a test on his head because it had a big impact on him. “Please doc. do everything you can to save him.” I pleaded.

“We will do our best to save Mr. Hernandez Sir, I will leave you first because I am still needed inside.”

I nodded and he immediately returned to the ER. I just sat on the side while waiting for the doctor to come out again and I hoped that he would have brought good news.

Ethan and I are like brothers and I’m afraid that something bad will happen to him, I just really hope he’s safe. I know he is brave so he will fight for his life. I can’t afford to lose a friend.

I waited for almost three hours before the doctor came back to say that Ethan will be transferred to a private room but he is still in critical condition until now and the doctor said that there is a possibility that he will be in a coma and they cannot say for how long. .

I called Zey to let her know what happened but no one answered, maybe she was still asleep so I just typed a message and sent it to her so that when she woke up she could read it immediately.

After talking to the doctor I entered the room where Ethan was.
