Chapter 38
Agatha POV
When I got to that bar I went down immediately but I told the driver to wait for me because I wouldn’t be long.
I quickly entered the bar and looked for where he was stationed and I didn’t have any difficulty and I saw him immediately. He seems to have drunk a lot but knows if he can handle himself,
“What do you want?” I asked directly as I could get close to him.
“Thank you for coming.”
“If I’m the only one to follow, I don’t want to go here because we don’t have anything to talk about anymore.” I’m seriously said.
“Do you want a drink?”
I shook my head quickly. “I don’t need anything, if you have something to say, say it because I need to go home.” I said.
I really don’t want to get close to him and if I have a chance I wouldn’t want to see him anymore but destiny can be really playful sometimes.
“Agatha, please come back to me. I need you. ” he said hoarsely.
I sighed. “Is that all you have to say? Don’t waste my time Ethan please.” I said.
I was about to turn around but he quickly grabbed my arm causing me to stop.
“Let me go Ethan!” I strongly promise.
Until this day I still blame myself for what happened, by choosing to leave him. I don’t want to hurt him again. I already finished whatever we had when I decided to leave him.
I’m afraid of what might happen by chance even if he says he loves me, it still won’t change the fact that I hurt and left him and I won’t be surprised if it’s just one of his traps to give me back the pain I gave to him.
I was afraid of being hurt when I let him be in my life again.
“Agatha, listen to me. I told you I still love you! ”
“How many times have you told me that and I will answer you the same way. So please don’t bother me anymore, because if it wasn’t for Marcus and Montreal Company, I wouldn’t face and talk to you. ” After I said that, I turned around.
“Agatha, I know that you still love me and I feel that.”
“I’m the one telling you that you’re wrong about how you feel Ethan, I don’t love you anymore, just let me go. We are not meant for each other, you deserve someone better and that’s not me.” I said.
“I don’t believe you, you loved me before and know you still love me until now.” his persistence.
“Yes it’s true that I loved you before and I’m telling you now that I don’t have any feelings for you. I’m happy with my life. Maybe we’re not really for each other and I just got used to you being there for me all the time until I realized that you weren’t the one I wanted to be with. So please, don’t bother me anymore. ” I said seriously and turned my back on him and walked out of that bar. I didn’t even try to look back at him because I might just not be able to cope and recover from what I told him.
When I got out I quickly took a taxi and drove back to the condo. I couldn’t help but be upset because of what happened. I didn’t want to say those things to him but I was afraid of what could happen to us. I become a coward when it comes to him.
I quickly got to the building, I just paid for the taxi and ran inside until I got to my unit.
When I entered, I caught Marcus watching TV, he looked at me. “Why did you come back so fast?” he asked me.
I couldn’t help myself and cried in front of him, he hugged me tightly.
“Agatha, what happened? Did she hurt you?” Marcus’s voice hinted at concern.
I quickly shook my head and told him what had happened.
“You hurt him but you’re the one who is crying now. My question is are you sure about what you have said to Ethan?”Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.
I couldn’t answer Marcus’ question because I didn’t know if I could stand everything I said to Ethan.
“You are lucky enough because you are loved by Ethan Hernandez who can do everything for you but you take it for granted. He is fighting for you, for the both of you but you are the one who is giving him a reason to give up. ”
And because Marcus said that I cried even more, I didn’t know what to do because I was in a mess. But the only thing I know is that I can’t take back what I said to Ethan and I won’t be surprised if he gets mad at me forever.
