Painful seduction

They got home and all Rhea could think of was resting her aching limbs. She could swear that she had never felt so tired like she did presently.

” I’m so tired, Dementrio. Can you take me upstairs?” She asked with a sweet smiling face which Dementrio knew he couldn’t resist. He carried her in his arms to his room, there he took off her shoes and the little jewelery she wore. As he undressed her, he wore a worried look and appeared to be absent minded. Rhea noticed it and knew what was bothering him.

“What are you thinking about?” She asked, looking closely at him.

“I’m thinking about the promise I made to father…promising to get the Chester’s empire.” He answered plainly and sat next to her on the bed. She wanted to get up but he refused, Instead she rested her head in his chest. The beating of his heart were a constant melody to her and she loved to remain in that position if not for the circumstances that surrounded her.

“You still have plans of doing it?”

” You don’t know how confused I am about this.” He turns to hold her palms,” I don’t want to be a bad father just like my real father.”

Rhea watched him as he confesses to her, she knew it was a tough decision for him especially with the baby being involved. He really wanted to be a father and at the same time also keep the last wish if the man who had raised him like a son.

” Everything will be fine, I promise.” She rubbed his palms assuring him and he kissed her hair.

” I will let go of the properties.” He mutterd after a while.

Rhea, who must have thought she didn’t hear him correctly, raised her body to look at him. He had the innocent look Rhea had known him for whenever he was being really sincere.

” Are you serious about this?”

“It’s time I become a Father so we can take good care of our baby.”

Rhea was stunned to hear those words, she hugged him tightly immediately.

” Thank you, so much.”

” I should thank you for giving me the brightest dream ever. I’m going to be a father soon and it’s all thanks to you.”

” Damien can’t fulfill his last wish, I just want a better life.”

Hearing those words made her really excited, she kissed him in a flash.

” Just a kiss that didn’t last for a second?” He asked, disappointed.

” Let’s rest…it was a long day and I also have to see the doctor.”

” It’s late now…by morning I will personally take you to the doctor. Feel free to see me as per your wish.”

She laughed and hit him playfully, afterwards she settled for a cuddle wrapped around his arms. It felt so comforting and she had no idea when she fell asleep.

Dementrio watched as she slept peacefully, once he was sure she was in deep slumber, He made her lie properly, kissed her forehead and her stomach before going to have a shower. It was a rough day and he really wanted to rest, then he remembered Rhea had nothing to eat but he didn’t want to wake her up because he knew she was not going to be happy about it.

He was done with his shower and proceeded to sleep next to Rhea, he held her tightly and in few minutes he was already asleep.

Around 3am the next morning, Rhea woke up to strange sounds. She looked next to her and didn’t find Dementrio, worried something must have happened she rushed downstairs and luckily she found him there. He was on the telephone talking to someone , by the time she got to him he was already done with the call.

” What’s going on?” She asked.

” Cindy called…Damien wants to kill Cathy?”

” What? That’s crazy…”

” I will call Cathy now. Hold on and I will wear something.” He said to her and rushed upstairs.

While he was upstairs searching for something to wear, He heard Rhea’s scream and it frightened him so much. His heart leaped in fear, in a flash he rushed down the stairs and found Damein putting a gun on Rhea’s stomach.

He was confused, Cindy just informed him Damien was with her. Had she lied?

“Look at the darling father.” Damien mutterd with a smirk.

” You’re confused…surprised to see me here right? But Rhea shouldn’t, she always suspected Cindy of loving me and looked how she proved her love.” He reaveled in a hate tone.

” Let’s talk about this man to man…leave Rhea out of this…please.” Dementrio begged, he had never thought of begging anyone not alone Damien but he was desperate. He could do anything to keep Rhea safe.

” Who will ever believe that the great Dementrio will beg me for the sake of a woman?” Damien asked in sarcasm.

“Don’t do whatever your heart says now, Damien. You know it’s wrong.” Dementrio warned.

“Look Brother…you know I don’t have a heart. ”

” Please Damien. Don’t hurt my baby.” Rhea cried, she had goosebumps all over and her tears had welled up her face.

“No time to waste, Dementrio. You have to do as I say or else…” he pulled the trigger and Dementrio stopped him.

” Tell me what you want?”

” Call Cathy, Make her sign the papers.”

” How do I guarantee Rhea’s safety?”

” She will be fine as long as you do as I say.”

“Dementrio…I’m so scared.” Rhea cried, she was feeling weak.

” I don’t want you to hurt her , I will do as you have say. My phone is here.”

He brought out his phone to dial Cathy’s number but it didn’t go through, he tried until the fourth time when he became tired.

” Dementrio…I feel weak.” Rhea muttered.

” Allow me to take her to the hospital…”

” Don’t you dare move a step.” Damien warned.

Rhea didn’t understand whatever went on, in a dazzle she fell to the ground but was saved by Demetrio. Damien, who had expected Dementrio’ s reaction, pointed the gun at him, Dementrio in his defense rushed to him aiming for his waist to pull him down. He immediately flung him to one side as Dementrio picked up the metal gun, flinging the gun away. They gave each other some blows on the face until Damien got up to hurt Rhea, Demetrio in his defense rushed to get the gun he had abandoned before. He shot Damien in the head who died instantly.

The door on the other side of the room flung open as soon as I reached it . Standing there was a guy with an automatic. Immediately, he pulled a trigger aiming a bullet at Dementrio’s leg before giving him a chance to fire. He was out of sight in seconds leaving Dementrio shot on the leg and in his lower abdomen.

” Dementrio.” She screamed with her last breath and looses consciousness.
