Chapter 1975
Chapter 1975
Upon hearing this, Aaron's face fell. "It's not like we intended to take so long. I had to concentrate on finding you, so I had to give up custody over Wynn. I'm a businessman, not a god. Custody over Wynn was given to the Marshall family. He has already grown used to them. Even if I forcefully take him with us now, will he come willingly?"
As he spoke, he seemed to be more on edge. Veins popped out from his forehead. He calmed himself down before continuing, "Arianna, six years have passed, you can't be indecisive and continue staying in touch with Hendrix and his family. I won't allow it. I might not be this lucky the next time you go missing."
"Are you saying that the accident from six years ago was caused by the Marshall family?" I was puzzled. "But the documents Hendrix gave me clearly states that the entire island was going to be blown up, and that it was Sebastian who wanted our lives, wasn't it?"
"You've already died once, yet you still believe in his nonsense," Aaron said disdainfully. "That's just an excuse they came up with. What kind of place do you think that island is? With the Marshall family watching every corner of that island, Sebastian would have been killed out in the ocean. How could he even get a bomb onto the island?"
That made sense. No wonder Sebastian, that little punk, could flip the world off.
However, why did Hendrix have to lie to me?
Did he know from the start that I was Arianna, but deliberately kept that from me? I thought to myself.
Aaron saw the look of distress on my face and became frustrated. "Stop worrying about all of this. Don't I know you well enough? Even if you knew about all the crazy things the Marshall family has done, you wouldn't do anything to them as long as Hendrix is around. If it weren't for your feelings, I would have kicked the Roberts family's butt when their company got listed."
"Who said I won't?" I looked at Aaron blankly. "How are the people who have hurt me, qualified to raise my children?"
Aaron was dumbstruck for a moment. After he collected himself, he leaned forward. His hands were clasped together and rested on the table. "Won't your heart ache if I deal with Hendrix?" he asked with doubt.
"It was the Marshall family who hurt me, not Hendrix. What is even the point of dealing with him?" Hendrix is the father of my children after all, and Wynn would be sad if he got hurt. It wouldn't be worthwhite to do that

Aaron laughed. "Don't you know that Hendrix is now the Marshall family's guardian? Did you think that without Hendrix's insistence, I would have handed over Wynn?" Content

It seemed to be a very tricky situation. They couldn't leave Wynn behind, but they couldn't do anything to Hendrix either.
After thinking for a while, an idea popped into my head. I asked Aaron with a smile, "Dear brother, are our mercenaries really the best in the world?"
Aaron didn't expect to be asked such a question. After thinking for a while, he nodded thoughtfully. "What do you plan to do?"NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.
I narrowed my eyes. I looked at Aaron's curious face, as I smirked. Then I said, "Tie up two individuals for me? Oh, wait, no. Just one."
If one of them was tied up, the other had to be obedient.
"Who?" Aaron asked.
I pursed my lips before answering, "Hendrix."
"Tie him up?" Aaron raised his eyebrows. "What for? To beat him up? I don't think so. You must have forgotten about what happened the last time. Once it's done, you'll fall madly in love with him again Then you'll lay it all on me. Hard pass."
