My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna)

Chapter 1974

Chapter 1974

Aurelia's heart ached as she saw this. Her large eyes flickered as tears welled up in her eyes.

Aaron picked her up and softly comforted her. After placing her head on his shoulder, he looked at Hendrix with disgust. "In the six years I've raised her, I can count on one hand the number of times she's been upset, now she's upset because of you. Are you happy?"

After that, Aaron turned towards me, "Let's go."

Hendrix's subordinates were no match for him. So I had to go with him.

Aaron's car was parked outside the villa. As soon as we got in the car, he started the engine and drove towards the suburbs. He wasn't going to wait around any longer.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked.

Aaron looked at me from the rearview mirror and answered flatly, "The airport. I've arranged for a plane. It'll arrive soon."

Judging from his tone, he sounded upset. I wasn't sure if it was because he was jealous of how close Aurelia and Hendrix got in such a short time, or if he had other concerns.

When the car turned a corner, I saw a car with a Roberts' family license plate coming from the opposite direction. I recognized it immediately. It was the car that was used to pick up Wynn. I wound down the window. The moment we passed each other, I saw his face.

Jennifer and Serene were in the car with him.

The distance between us was growing larger, just like the sense of loss I was feeling. Although we haven't spent a lot of time together, we were bonded. If I left without saying goodbye, imagine how sad he would be.

Noticing that I was feeling down, Aurelia leaned on me and whimpered like a baby.

My heart softened. I couldn't help but hold her tighter.

In the VIP room at the airport.

The Reid family's private jet wouldn't arrive for another two hours. Aaron was worried that Aurelia would get hungry, so he arranged a whole table of delicious food for her.

Aurelia pretended to not be able to feed herself and wanted me to feed her, just like how Wynn always was.

Women always had a soft spot for cute things, so of course I pampered her unconditionally.

Fortunately, she was very well-behaved. As Aaron said, she was a pure and innocent little princess, she wasn't spoiled rotten. Aaron had raised her well.

Aaron, who was sitting in front of us, watched us with a grin on his face.

"I've dreamed of this moment since forever, and now it's finally come true," he exclaimed. Tears were streaming down his face.

I had a lump in my throat when I looked up and saw him wiping his tears away.

One reason being that I actually felt moved, another was that I was annoyed by how well I knew this feeling.

I put down the fork and asked Aaron

"Isn't that enough?" Aaron smiled. He was overjoyed. "I'm no longer a man devoid of any priorities. I'm running both the Reid family and Moore family's companies, and business is going great. I've recruited the very best of the best. I can now provide you and Aurelia With the best kinds of protection. No one would be able to even harm a single hair on your head." "What about Wynn?" I asked solemnly.

Aaron was getting annoyed. "There's plenty of time. I will find a chance to get him."

"When exactly will that be?" I asked. "Six years have passed and it hasn't been done. Do you think you can actually do it?"
