Chapter 225: Mastermind

Bill was left in a daze.

Just like that, his family was ruined.

He could see in his son's eyes the intense hatred towards him.

He quickly dialed someone on the phone. "Follow them and don't take your eyes away from them. Do I

make myself clear?" Bill ordered strictly.

After the call, he stormed inside his room.

The girl who was in his bed was already packed up and ready to go.

She seemed in a rush that she just held her shoes and ran out with bare feet but Bill caught her arm.

He gripped it tight that tend to break her bone in anger.

"Who are you?" Bill shouted. His tone was dangerous.

The girl didn't utter any words. She seemed trembling but tried to focus on escaping.

"I..." The girl was about to answer lies but Bill suddenly caught her neck.

Bill pushed her forcefully on the wall choking her neck.

The girl was extremely shocked and terrified as she could feel the man had no plan to release her until

she was out of breath.

"Say it or I will break your neck!" Bill roared while he tightened his grip on the girl's neck.

All he remembered when he was working, he fell asleep. When he opened his eyes, he felt a little bit

dizzy.

He saw the girl who was already on top of him naked. His mind was floating but he was sure, he was in

his office.

Then the next thing he remembered, his eyes landed on a disheartened face of a little boy.

Adam's expression was full of dismay and anger for him.

Adam was always sweet and a jolly kid but the Adam he saw earlier was full of resentment towards

him.

When he introduced himself to Adam after his absence in Adam's life for a long time, Adam didn't give

him a hard time. He quickly accepted him with a promise that he will not hurt his mom. He was

prepared for his son's hatred at that time but surprisingly, Adam was straightforward like a grown up

man who had no tantrums attitude different from the other kids that's why he easily captured his heart.

Adam knew what he wants and he worked for it instead of hating his father forever but that was before.

Bill seemed to see a grown-up man in Adam who already cut their ties with each other.

She thought, she could just escape easily after she injected a sleeping drug into Bill Sky but

The drug should keep Bill sleeping for a maximum of 3 hours but he woke up after one and half hours.

In that time frame, her eyes were full. She had done all the advantage of touching his cheeks and lips.

his mom, only Arabella got his gentleness.

The girl felt her spirit get out of her body.

She was horrified by Bill's incensed expression.

"Your time is up!" Without any patience left, Bill sounded merciless.

Hearing him, she immediately dropped her stilettos on the floor and raised her hands blocking him from

"I will tell now!" Horrified, the girl shouted as she stepped back but she was already cornered by the

wall. Seeing Bill approach her quickly, "It's your mom!" Afraid of her life, she quickly spewed out to stop

him from getting closer to her.

After she revealed the truth, Bill stopped. His expression was taken aback. "Are you saying the truth?"

He asked reconfirming what he just heard.

"Yes! Please let me go now." The girl answered quickly and pleaded. Her heart was restless and she

was very uneasy.

Bill looked at her with sharp deep eyes. "Too late!" He said seriously then he turned his back in time the

elevator opened.

Two men strode into the hall and grabbed the girl. "Mr. Sky, pls. have mercy! Please!" The girl's voice

echoed the room until it finally faded away.

Bill went inside his room with drained emotions.

He was angry.

Very angry.

But he could not resent his mom. He knew his mom was a good mother and he knew she was just

having a hard time accepting the death of his father. Sooner. Bill just hoped that she would realize

everything and would go back to the mother he knew.

He knew his mom never liked Arabella after his father died.

All evidence was pointing at her that time until such time he found out the truth and he chose to keep it

to himself.

His mother would never forgive Arabella and her family.

Arabella would go crazy and be heartbroken.

Adam would be affected too.

Bill just wanted to protect his family but he knew in the long run, no secrets will keep as it is.

Now, he had to fix everything.

He then got his coat and left.

Then he dropped the call.

It was already 1 am and he was driving around Capital Z.

He was heading to his old family villa.

He had to see his mom and settled things with her first.

When he arrived, the butlers in their old villa panicked for the unexpected visitor.

"Young master, madam is already sleeping." The oldest and the head of all servants reported aiming to

stop Bill from entering his mother's chamber. She was working with Sky for 30 years and she knew her

young boss was not in a good state. His tiredness and anger were written all over his face.

Driven with overwhelmed annoyance, Bill didn't stop.

He seemed not to hear the servant or maybe he just didn't want to be stopped.

He went directly to his mom’s door.

When he knocked no one responded.

He knocked and knocked like he didn’t care if he was already disturbing his mom.

He had to talk with her right now.

“Mom? Mom!” This was the first time he was very angry with her and no one could stop him.

Even before, he always understands his mom as he respected her so much as his mother but at times

After a long shouting outside, Kelly’s door opened. She appeared behind the door with a glass of wine

in her hand. Her eyes were cold and strict.

“So, are you here to scold me, my son?” Kelly sounded sarcastic. She seemed to know he was coming.

Bill looked at her mom deeply.

After Kelly left his house, she forbid all her servants to inform him about what was happening her and

inside the villa.

It seemed Kelly wanted to detach herself from her son’s life. To make him feel like he had lost his

mother, Kelly briefed everyone in her villa not to answer Bill’s calls nor informed him about what was

happening inside the house.

Kelly became stricter with her servants.

She fired all Bill’s eyes and ears in the villa and only chose those servants who were loyal to her.

“Why, mom?” Bill asked straightforward. He knew her mom was not innocent and he knew she was not

sleeping.

He was suspecting her that she was waiting for him.

“Come in.” Instead of answering him directly, Kelly invited him calmly inside her room.

Bill complied but his expression was still not good.

“I did it for you son.” Kelly sounded unaffected by his son’s scorching look on her. She sounded calm.

“There’s no crime being committed so what’s that look in your face?” She added.

“What happened to you, mom?” Bill asked with a questioning displeased look. His mom was always

sweet and always stands for the right no matter what. His father’s death had hit her so hard that she

had changed totally. Her hatred towards Arabella would never change and that hatred made Kelly

change to the worst.

“I did this because I am your mother.” She claimed righteously. She had been drinking before Bill

appeared.

“I don’t need you to meddle in my business. You just hurt Adam with those tricks of yours, mom.” Bill

could not help not to get impatient and annoyed.

“Then, what about me son? Am I not a family to you?” Sipping her wine, Kelly uttered with dismay but

tough tone.

“I’m done talking here. Get sobered mom.” He sensed his mom was already tipsy and she did it for the

sake of their conversation. It was another trick of her not to be questioned by him.

“I hope this should be the last time, mom,” Bill said with controlled irritation. He decided to end the

conversation but Kelly stood up.

She laughed a little.

Bill turned around quickly to look at her mom with a questioning look.

"You really think that woman is innocent. Don't you?" Kelly suddenly sounded. Her tone was cold.

"Don't be a fool son!" She said with a bitter chuckle.

He was calling Arabella’s phone but he was not answering.

Driving in the middle of the night, he was determined to find his family and get them back.

He is Bill Sky and he could find ways to solve everything. He had done so many solutions in the

business and he never failed.

"Would you believe me if I say that woman approached me this morning and plan all of that?"

"Trust me, son, that Arabella had an evil plan for you! She's the mastermind of your fall!"

Those were just words of his mother earlier. He had to know the truth from her.
