Agatha POV

“Agatha, thank you for your time.” Ethan said while looking at me.

I immediately stood up and smiled at him. I was annoyed earlier because I didn’t know where Marcus was so I was left with this man.

Honestly, I really don’t want to face Ethan in case I can’t refuse Hernandez because he hasn’t signed a contract with Montreal yet, maybe later he’ll take it back.

Where is Belle now? She was still with us but suddenly disappeared. Psh! I also don’t know why I’m pissed.

When we got out we reached the car waiting for Ethan, before he got in he first turned his gaze to me. “Agatha?”

I raised my eyebrow. “Why?”

“I just want to say welcome back and see you again.” he said and got into the car.

Arrrrgggg! He’s really a jerk!

When I was about to walk back inside the building  I saw Marcus so I quickly approached him. “Where have you been?” I ask.

“I just went around to look at the other departments.”

I quickly kicked his feet. “Bastart!” I shouted at him.

“What? I did the right thing. Okay? You became the representative of the company to talk to him right? So you will really assist him in everything. ”

“Don’t fool me Marcus! Montreal has a lot of employees, you can pass it to others and not to me. ” I was annoyed.

I saw the fool’s laughter. “Mr. Hernandez wants to talk to the Architect, I didn’t know that he wasn’t aware that it was you. Why are you acting like that? Let me think. Hmmm. Maybe you’re jealous? That’s why you’re upset because you saw him with another woman, ” he teased.

“What are you talking about? You know it’s nonsense! I’m not jealous and I don’t care who’s with him, that’s his life. ” I said.

“Look at your face, Agatha. I know you are already pissed so don’t deny it.” Marcusis still teasing me.

“Whatever you say Mr. Montreal, stop it already, it’s really annoying. “I said.

“Don’t be upset there, he will come back and you will meet him again.”

“Stop talking already you jerk. ” I said but he kept on laughing.

FASTFORWARD

It’s been a week since I started working again in my office here in Montreal Company even though I can work in my condo but I can’t since Marcus keeps calling and pestering me all the time telling me that I should work in the office again for the meantime.

Until now, Zey and I haven’t met because I’m too busy here at the company and I know she’s also busy with her work. I just don’t know if she’s already aware that I’m back or not.

And now I’m going to enter a hotel where a Montreal event will be held. Today is the thanksgiving party of the company because of the successful projects. “Hey Agatha!” Eli shouted when she saw me, Marcus was with her.

They quickly approached me. “Agatha, go to room 23 first, Mr. Hernandez wants to say something to you. ” Marcus promised.

I raised my eyebrow. “And what is it? Why didn’t he just tell you what he needed? ” I asked.

“Don’t ask us because we didn’t know, just go to him, don’t forget that we need his signature?” Eli pushed me.

And knowing that they wouldn’t stop so I just nodded and went straight to the elevator to go to the unit that Eli said. I don’t really know why until now Ethan didn’t sign the contract. Grrrr!

When I got there I didn’t bother to knock anymore because I knew that Ethan was expecting me to arrive. When I entered I saw him standing near the window.

“Good thing that you are already here. I will give you something.” his introduction.

My forehead frowned.

He handed me something. “What is this? And what is it for? ” I wondered.

“You don’t have to give me something like this because I did it for the company and that’s part of my  job. Thank you is already enough.” I promise.

He walked closer to me without taking his gaze away. I don’t know what I’m going to do. It seems wrong that I went here.

“That’s not the only reason why I told your boss that I need something from you, I also want to talk to you.” he made a serious promise.

“Ethan we are in business and as far as I know we don’t have anything to talk about. So if you don’t mind I will leave and come back to the party because I need to be there. ” I promise.

I was about to leave when he grabbed my arm and leaned me against the wall.

“Let me go Ethan!” I shouted.

“I miss you Agatha.” he whispered.

“Stop what you are doing Ethan!” I strongly promise.

I don’t know if I can last long because he is so close to me so I want to leave. I really shouldn’t have gone here.

“Is that what you want? Then why did you assist me in the first place? ”

“As I said, this is business and I work in Montreal. And one more thing, I didn’t know that you were what Marcus was saying as an investor. ” I answered quickly.

“Is that so? It seems I need to thank Marcus. ”

“And why do you want to talk to me? There are a lot of employees in Montreal and you can also directly talk to Marcus because he is the CEO and another thing as far as I know you already agree about investing. Why haven’t you signed the contract until now? ” I asked him.

He smirks at me. “You want to know what my reason is?”

I was swallowed. “W-why?” I ask.

“Agatha, my feelings for you are still here. And even if you’ve been gone for how many years, how I feel about you doesn’t change. ”

I quickly removed his hand that was holding me and we settled down. “Stop playing around Ethan. That’s not the answer I want to hear. ” I’m said seriously.

“You think I am playing? I am not! Whatever I say is true. So I’m not signing the contract first because I want to be with you for a long.”

“Be professional Ethan, don’t involve the company in your personal preferences!” I shouted at him.

“I can do whatever I want Agatha, including when I want to sign the contract with the Montreal Company. You know how important my signature is with the company you work for.” he said smiling.

I was about to speak when he suddenly kissed me so I didn’t move immediately.

“I miss you so much Agatha and I know you feel the same way.” he whispered to me as he let go of the kiss.

I looked away. “You’re wrong Ethan, I don’t feel that way.” I said.

Soon we heard a knock from the door. “Ethan, are you done? We have to go down. ” Belle’s voice.

I immediately pushed Ethan but he didn’t move and hugged me. Shit!
