‘Alpha, It’s about the woman from that sketch.’ Zordan mind linked to Calvin. Hearing it, he quickly broke the hug and stepped away from Ethlyn.
‘I will be in my office within seconds.’ He replied and then looked at Ethlyn, who might have understood that he was mind-linking someone. She was about to move away from the door when Calvin blocked her way again.
‘What now?’ She questioned in her mind and saw Calvin leaning toward her, placing a kiss on her forehead; he left the room, leaving Ethlyn with a small smile on her face.

“What is it?” Calvin asked.
“She is the Luna of Star Light Pack, Isabella West,” Zordan replied.
“Oh, so she figured out the way to become Luna,” Calvin commented. “Anyways, what next?”
“She is two months pregnant. So, she can’t travel to our pack for any of your queries.” Zordan said, to which Calvin frowned because this piece of information wasn’t in her favor. “Also, the beta of the Star Light Pack became suspicious, wondering why we were searching for his pack’s Luna. And he informed his Alpha about this. So, Alpha Anthony West wants to speak about it with you.”
“Hmm. Anything else?”
“Yes. When do you want me to fix this meeting?” Zordan asked.
“Monday morning.”
“Okay, Alpha.” Zordan agreed before adding. “I’m saying this as a friend to not to open up about Isabella West in front of her mate. I mean, we don’t know what she had told Alpha Anthony West about her past. What if you end up ruining their relationship because of your blunt nature? So please.”
“Like, really? There is never a third person who spoils any relationship.” Calvin said, shaking his head. “By the way…”
Zordan showed his hand to stop speaking when his phone started ringing. He received the call from an unknown number before speaking,
“Hello, Alpha Anthony West!! Good Morning.” He quickly mind-linked Calvin. ‘He wants to talk with you right now. Are you free?’
‘Yes.’
“Just a second, I’m handing over the phone to my Alpha,” Zordan said and passed the phone to Calvin.

“Good Morning, Alpha Anthony!! And it’s all right. I know you might be wondering why I’m looking for your mate. So, I understand your curiosity to know the truth. Actually, please don’t get me wrong, but I think your mate knows something about the mother of my pup landed in my room approx five years back. I mean, you might have an idea that I found my pup outside my pack in the past. That’s why I was looking for her. Nothing serious.”
“Oh!! Is that so? Moon Goddess, I’m glad that it wasn’t what I was thinking.” Alpha Anthony West sighed in relief before adding, “I will check on Bella and will see how she can help you with this.”
“And yes, Alpha Calvin… I think there is someone else too. Who knows what exactly happened that night? Her name is Abigail Smith. I don’t know who she is and how she is related to all this, but I heard my mate talking on the phone with her in the morning.” Hearing this, Calvin’s blood boiled.
“To be honest, I wanted to talk to you in order to ask whether my mate is the mother of your daughter. But thankfully, that’s not the case, but I assure you that I will help you to solve this mystery for sure.”
After a minute, Calvin disconnected the call, and his grip around Zordan’s phone started tightening.
“Bro, it’s my phone.” Zordan quickly snatched his phone before Calvin would have broken it.
“I can’t believe this woman. She knows something about that night and has kept it hidden.” Calvin hissed and stormed out of his cabin to meet Abigail Smith.

“What happened? Why do you look so happy?” Christian Smith asked, observing his mate who had been tensed since last night, and now she was super duper happy. He knew that something was definitely going on her mind, but she wasn’t sharing this with him.
“Nothing. I’m just happy for Ethlyn.” Abigail replied with a smile.
“Abby, you do know that I have known you for almost half of my life. So, I know that’s definitely not the real reason.” Christian said, frowning. He observed how his mate was concerned about Ethlyn, but when she met Haysberts, she realized that all the family members were really good and nice toward Ethlyn except Alpha Calvin, who didn’t let anyone speak against her, but he couldn’t control his own behavior.
It was clear that he wanted to scare Ethlyn or might hurt her.
“It’s nothing, really. I was just getting worried for Ethlyn last night after watching her dance with Alpha Calvin but not anymore, but I realized that Alpha Calvin might have a temper issue, but he can’t hurt the mother of his pup.” Abigail replied. “Anyways, stop interrogating me!! We’re leaving from here. Let’s go and meet Ethlyn and Rose.”
“Umm.. yeah!! I have something for Rose.” Christian said and grabbed a wrapped box.
“What’s that?”
“Keyring of her name. Zordan told me that she loves to use attractive keyrings around her school bag.” Christian said, showing the keyring. “It will also glow at night.” He added.
“It’s beautiful, but Alpha Calvin has got her the best things in the whole world. Do you think that she will like it?” Abigail asked in confusion.
“She is a pampered princess, not a spoiled one. I’m sure she will love it.” Christian said and sensed Calvin’s presence at his door.
