“Come with me; you’re not safe here.” He said and grabbed Ethlyn’s wrist to take her with him, but she didn’t budge.
“I’m not going anywhere, dad. Not leaving my daughter.”
“And I won’t leave my daughter here.”
“I wish you would have thought the same thing while leaving my daughter near him.” Saying this, she pulled her wrist from her father’s grip. “I’m staying here, and that’s final. I have to go and change before Roselet sees me in this state.” With this, she went into the room she had stayed in last night.
She had already brought her clothes from Reva’s home in the morning. It was true that she didn’t come here with anything, but when Reva and her parents came here, they brought her necessary belongings with them.
Meanwhile, Zordan mind linked one of the Omega to get the mess clean.
“How can you treat someone else daughter like this when you, too, have a daughter?” Christian asked when Calvin was preparing an omelette for breakfast.
“I thought you would thank me for not killing your daughter,” Calvin said sarcastically, adding fuel to his anger. He kept glaring at Calvin, with anger and rage growing in his eyes.
“The only reason I’m silent is that I’m responsible for Ethlyn’s situation; otherwise, I would have killed or died in the practice of killing you.” Christian hissed.
“Really? Do you think you can kill me? Beta blood?” Calvin mocked him. “Go ahead, try your strength. We will see on your own who will end up killing whom,” he added.
“If I could, then I would have killed both you and your mates of yours who are a shame on the name of parents.” Calvin hissed while preparing Egg mayonnaise and lettuce bap for Rose’s lunch box now. “Yes, you both are the reason for Ethlyn’s situation. Only if your mate had supported her, then both the pups of Ethlyn would have been alive. Only if you have know how to control your mate, then she wouldn’t have started dancing on your head. She suggested getting rid of Rose, and you did the same. What are you? A man without backbone?”

“I’m in no mood to listen to your stupid words!!” Calvin shut him before continuing, “I have no respect for those people because of which one of my pups is not between us. I will deal with Alpha Nathan later about it. I would ask what kind of love he had for Ethlyn that he left her in her most crucial time?”
“I don’t understand what kind of love is that. My sister, Liara, went against everyone to be with her mate. My brother-in-law, Artemis, left his Alpha position to be with his mate. My dad passed the type test and transferred all his properties to be with my mom. This is LOVE and MATE BOND.”
“Not the one which Alpha Nathan or Ethlyn shared.” Calvin pointed out. “I slapped Ethlyn that night in front of him, and all he could do was speak. If I would have been at Alpha Nathan’s place, then I would have attacked even God if he would have slapped my mate. Because only I own the right to do anything with my mate, and that too privately.”
“Because if I won’t respect her in front of others and protect her dignity in public, then who will?” Calvin questioned him. “This hunter thing…. This is happening because of your daughter because she ended up killing the son of the hunter’s leader and wants her in return to end the war. I’m sure Alpha Nathan would have sacrificed the life of one pack member to keep the others safe. Even that pack member would have been his mate; that’s what his love for his mate is, weak.” Calvin spat.
“A part of me wants to approach you and Alpha Nathan, who is acting to be Ethlyn’s wellwisher now, and slap both of you. I mean, in the last five years, you didn’t care to find out what exactly happened with your daughter? Instead, you or your mate or whoever he or she was, wiped the proof.”
Serving breakfast on the plate, he started leaving to make Roselet eat the breakfast in the room today. He was positive that Nelina would have held her in the room to avoid seeing all this mess.
“You… you’re not giving Ethlyn to them, are you?” Christian asked in fear. Ethlyn wasn’t even Calvin’s pack member, so he could easily give her to them.
“I won’t. I can’t. After all, she and her wolf is the reason because of why Rose is alive.” Calvin left from there, assuring Christian that nothing would happen to Ethlyn, but he couldn’t stop himself from getting worried for Ethlyn.
‘Oh, that woman is the reason behind everything that happened to those innocent pups.’ The Omega cleaning the floor thought after hearing all the conversation. Even his brother’s son was killed by the hunters yesterday, and the fact that it wasn’t Alpha’s mistake, but an outsider’s mistake, was something that had filled his heart with rage toward Ethlyn.

“Calvin, why are we having our breakfast here?” Roselet asked while munching her food.
“Because the marble near the kitchen area has been broken, and I have asked someone to clean and fix that area as soon as possible.”
“Oooo,” Roselet made her sound before asking, “Where is Mommy?”
“I heard her speaking to her father that she was going to take a bath,” Calvin replied, to which she smiled, thinking her daddy had an idea about where her mother was.
“Tonight, we will have dinner together, and I will ask mommy to cook something nice for us.” She spoke, to which Calvin didn’t react. “You will join us at the time of dinner, won’t you?”
“Sure.”
“Perfect. It will be more like a family date.” Roselet cheered happily. Calvin smiled, seeing her happy, and looked at Nelina.
