He looked like Brandon and Calvin from the back.

Not just that, Calvin declared how he didn’t want his mate to go anywhere. She didn’t know whether Calvin was speaking the truth after drinking so much or was lying.

She felt bad when Colton didn’t help him in standing, but at the same time, she understood that Calvin had hurt his brother a lot.

The moment Colton turned his face toward her to leave, she was shocked by looking his face.

‘Holyshit! He is…. He is the carbon copy of Alpha Calvin.’ She screamed in her mind, and immediately her cheek flushed, recalling how she assumed him, Alpha Calvin, twice. ‘That’s why he was rude to her when he was about to touch him and was ignoring her throughout the party.’

Now she could understand the difference between both brothers clearly when she thought that they were two, not one. And among them, one was human, and the other was a werewolf. She could read Calvin’s expression, but Colton was unreadable.

‘But how does this human have vampire blood in stock?’ Cinder asked.

She composed herself quickly when Colton walked past her and started leaving. She just couldn’t let him go just like that. She couldn’t sense his feeling, but she knew he was hurt. She tried to talk with him and received a bitter response from Colton in return.

Ethlyn didn’t mind him, and at the same time, his last sentence didn’t go unnoticed by her.

‘Does this also mean that we aren’t going anywhere, but that fake mate is?’ Cinder asked in excitement.

‘Not sure, Cinder. But everyone in the house thinks that Colton’s sixth sense is too good. So, we just can’t let this topic go that easily.’ Ethlyn went toward Calvin, who was sleeping on the floor.

“If this is a trap, Alpha Calvin, then I promise to have your back just like you had mine all the time.” She spoke, looking at him. Not sure if he was listening to her or not. She leaned toward Calvin and picked him in her arms with Cinder’s power.

“Umm.. urgh,” Calvin groaned in her arms while she smiled, taking him out of that place.

“Luna, let me help you.” Lemieux quickly came by her side to help her.

“No. It’s fine.” Cinder replied. “Thank you, Lemi.”

After a moment, Ethlyn laid Calvin on the bed and removed his footwear. She thought to remove the t-shirt that he was wearing because it was slightly wet because of alcohol and was sticking as well. The moment she started lifting his t-shirt, Calvin pushed her hand away.

“I’m committed… for now.” He said in a sleepy tone. Ethlyn smiled and tried to open his t-shirt again, but this time, Calvin not just pushed her hand away; his eyes were also opened a little. “Ethlyn… oh! It’s… It’s you?”

“Yeah! May I?” She asked, and this time, Calvin let her touch him. Calvin fell asleep in the next minute again, and Ethlyn lay on the other side of the bed, already knowing what she had to do early in the morning.

‘You might hate me tomorrow, Alpha. But deep down, I really hope that you will trust me.’ Ethlyn thought, caressing his face. Early in the morning, Ethlyn felt someone’s hand around her waist. The little tingle all over her body made her realize who the person was touching her in her sleep. The next, she felt wet kisses around her neck. A low moan escaped her lips.

“I want you, Ethlyn. Just don’t say NO.” Calvin pleaded in a husky voice.

“I won’t say NO.” She mumbled.

A few hours later, Ethlyn woke up and checked the time. She looked around and saw Calvin sleeping beside her. She carefully removed his hand around his waist and left the bed silently, grabbing her clothes. She freshened up as soon as possible and ran out of the room.

“Good Morning, Aunt.” She greeted Sophia when she saw her in the kitchen.

“Good Morning, Ethlyn. Wake up early today? I mean, it’s Sunday. I hope everything is fine.” Sophia said, preparing coffee for both Brandon and her.

“Yeah!! Yeah!! Everything is fine. I just needed to talk with Caroline.” Saying this, she walked toward Caroline’s room and knocked on the door.

It took a while until, finally, the door of the room opened. She was not surprised when the room smelled of sex and sweat, observing the time they took to open the door.

“I need your help, and it’s urgent.” Caroline understood that tone and also the fact that it had anything to do with the things that she sensed yesterday. She stepped aside and let Ethlyn walk inside the room.

‘Alpha, she is awake.’ Damian mind linked to Calvin when he grabbed the seat on the couch just after bidding everyone goodbye. This morning, he spent time with his family members and kept calling Colton to apologize for the last night but got no response from the other side.

He knew he fucked up a big time. He said hurtful words to his brother just because he was trying to be protective, just like always. Calvin agreed that sometimes Colton’s extra protective nature did piss him off because it forbade him from trying things on his own and experiencing things through his point of view. Still, that didn’t give him the right to say those things to Colton.

‘I will be there in a few seconds.’ Calvin replied and started leaving from there as soon as possible.

“Calvin” He heard his name being called and turned around to see Roselet frowning. “Where are you going in such a hurry? And you didn’t even tell us about it.” She pointed out, signaling at both Ethlyn and her.
