The Rejected Luna: Daddy, Where is Mommy?

‘Keanu, I know what you are feeling right now. And after finding our fated mate, you’re least worried for my brother at this moment, but I know you love our pup more than anything, more than our fated mate whom Moon Goddess has chosen for us. So, please don’t forget that we’re committed to Ethlyn.’ Calvin reminded him.

‘But you also told her that if things wouldn’t work out between you two, then you both will part away.’ Keanu reminded him and thought about his future with his mate.

‘But I also told her that I would give it an HONEST try. If you’re thinking that we should find each and every moment to kick her out of our life by rejecting her, that will be unfair to both Ethlyn and Rose. Do you want to stoop low in Rose’s eyes?’ Calvin questioned, on which Keanu whimpered and didn’t say anything because they both knew who was the first priority in their life.

‘Damn, it reminded me that I had asked Ethlyn out for dinner and forgot to inform her that I wouldn’t be arriving there.’ Calvin hissed, realizing his mistake. He was about to mindlink her to inform her about the same, but that was when he remembered that she couldn’t answer him back because she wasn’t added to the pack yet. And it would be a little rude to just inform her without listening to what she had to say in return. So, he dialed her number, which was still saved with the name ‘Love,’ but Ethlyn didn’t receive his call. He redialed her number again, but she again didn’t receive the call.

‘Look like she is pissed or slept already? But there is no way she can sleep this early when there are so many people at home.’ Calvin thought and dialed her number again, and this time she received the call.

“Hello.”

“Where were you? Why were you not receiving my phone? Don’t tell me you’re mad at me because, till now, we don’t even share that relationship where you can get mad at me, or I can get mad at you.” Calvin said, getting irritated.

“Relax, Alpha Calvin,” Ethlyn said calmly. “I’m not mad at you because I know you might have been stuck with something important.”

“Ahh. That’s cool. But if you were not mad, then why were you not receiving my phone?” Calvin questioned.

“That’s because I’m on a date.” Hearing this, red hot invisible smoke started coming out of Calvin’s ear. “And I didn’t want to get disturbed, but it looked like you weren’t going to stop calling me, but unwillingly I ended up receiving the call.”

‘Why the hell am I getting jealous? She might be on a date with Rose.’ Calvin convinced himself, knowing very well that how his daughter was, but he couldn’t stop himself from asking, “Date? With whom? Are you with Rose?”Text © by N0ve/lDrama.Org.

“No. Rose sent me with someone else.”

“Someone else? Who? Tell me, Ethlyn, that someone else is a woman.” Calvin said in a threatening tone, controlling himself from growling in the hospital.

“No. He is a man. And I must say Rose chose a perfect man for this evening. He is a gentleman and not at all annoying.”

That was it. It was the last piece of control that both Calvin and Keanu were holding, and immediately his legs started walking outside the hospital. He wasn’t going to spare that man who took Ethlyn out.

He quickly mind-linked the guards of the pack to confirm whether Ethlyn really left the pack, and he was pissed when the answer was YES.

‘With whom?’

‘I don’t know, Alpha. The scent of the person in the car was masked. And since it was your family’s car. We didn’t check it. All we were told was that the Luna was in the car.’ The guard informed. Calvin bit his inner cheek when he realized that Caroline helped Ethlyn by masking the scent.

“I can’t believe you, Ethlyn. Just because I didn’t show up to take you out on a date, you went with someone else?” He hissed, starting his car. “And dare to blame our daughter for this. She is a baby. She suggested this maybe to cheer you up. You could have said ‘NO.'”

“I could have, but I didn’t. Anyways, I’m ending the call because you’re spoiling my evening.”

“Spoiling your evening? I swore once I would be there, I will beat the shit out of the man who dared to ask you out.”

“And I will bite his ass,” Keanu growled. “Just tell me, where the hell are you right now?”

“Why? Complete your work first. I will go back home safely after dinner. And I assure you I will just have dinner and dance with him. NO KISSES.”

Keanu growled loudly, “If he dares touch you, then he will regret the day on which he was born, Ethlyn. Now tell me the damn place where you’re now?” he roared.

“At Artemis’s hotel. I’m enjoying my beautiful evening on the terrace of the building under the moonlight and…” Keanu disconnected the call and drove like crazy to reach there as soon as possible. He wasn’t going to leave that man. If Roselet knew him that he might be close to Calvin as well, but no matter how close that person would be, he would wake up in the hospital the next morning.

Calvin reached the terrace and found Ethlyn in the arm of a man whose scent was hidden, and he could just watch his back, but Ethlyn’s face was clear. She was definitely enjoying his company, and this could be guessed by her wide smile.

‘How dare you, Colton?’ Calvin thought and marched toward them in pure rage.
