Sahil's POV

" I am sorry sweetie. Please " I tried to persuade her but she was just too angry. It took me at least half

an hour and she was back to normal. Thank God for that.

" So let's have food now.... " I said.

" Why didn't you eat with your friends? "

" How could I ? Earlier I was worried about you and later on guilty that I made you cry. " I said looking

at her and then she smiled and went to the kitchen to get food for all of us.

Manu went to call Sagar and Damini. We all had snacks they made and Samar ordered. Everything

was awesome.

" Wow you are becoming a master chef. " I said to her and she hugged Manu.

" Thankyou Manu for teaching me. "Swati smiled at Manu and she gave such a sweet and pure smile.

She was so beautiful.

Hey but you were angry with her for avoiding you.

Yeah I am.

" Will you please teach me too Manu?" Damini asked and all of us said no in unison and she saw that

scared look on our face and she glared at Sagar.

" You told them?? Everything?? How could you?? I hate you... " She got up and went outside.

" Shit!! I am dead... It's not like that yaar... Love listen... " Sagar said and ran after her. "

" They are so cute. " Manu said and smiled.

Just then her phone buzzed.

" Hello?? Hi!! ........ What? Seriously?? Wow!! Thanks a lot..... Ok sorry, no thanks. Fine bye yes...

When will they come?? In 15 minutes?? Oh my God !! Ya, ok will let you know. " she disconnected the

call.

" Swati, our dresses are ready and coming in 15 minutes. " Swati also started jumping.

These girls.... I shook my head

" Tell Damini bhabhi. " Swati said as she was still eating and Manu went to find her.

I also got up as I had eaten so much that I was going out. All of a sudden she turned in with her eyes

closed bumped into me again. My arms went around her to steady us.

Thank God for little mercies.

She was as shocked as me. But I felt so good having her in my arms. I felt as if I was relieved of some

pain. I was shocked at that feeling. It was not the first time I held any girl. But it was the first time in all

my life when I felt like that.

" Sorry, I didn't know you were coming. " She said slowly and stepped back. I felt as if something was

" It's ok, but what happened? " I asked.

" N.. nothing " she went inside. She was blushing a bit. But why?

I looked outside and saw Sagar kissing Damini.

Oh !!! so, she came back as she didn't want to disturb them. Cute.

" Ha ha ha.... Enough of that PDA, Sagar, there are kids in the house. " I said loudly. And Damini

punched on his shoulder.

" You are not a kid. " Sagar said, still holding her.

" I am talking about Swati and Manu." I said and sagar loosened his arms.

" What is your problem? " Sagar said.

" I don't have any problem, someone called, their dresses are coming in 5-10 minutes so Manu was

coming to call you but... "

" My dresses?? Wow !! " She ran inside. Sagar cursed and I laughed.

Two men came with lots of dresses.

The girls were so happy that their faces were glowing with joy. I kept looking at her.

Only 5 days were left and our parents came back. The functions were going to start in three days.

Mom was busy in the preparation for various ceremonies. Which were to start today.

Chunri, Haldi and Mehandi functions were to be held.

All the women from our family went to Damini's place for the ceremony.

Mom, Swati, Manu and all the female relatives and the wives of Sagar's friends went there with the

mehandi as it was supposed to come from our house.

All the women and girls got their hands adorned with heena.

After that everyone rested for some time as we had a sangeet in the evening.

Our house was bursting with excitement as everyone was getting ready for sangeet.

All the members of the family were performing on something or the other.

All the arrangements were made for sangeet at the guesthouse as it had a very nice and big place

which was apt for that.We all reached there. Both the families greeted each other.

Damini arrived with Anshu, Swati and Manu. She was made to sit away from Sagar. He pouted at that.

All his friends were sitting near him and they kept teasing him.

Samar was anchoring along with Swati. The first performance was from her family.

It was a performance on

Sajan ji ghar aaye, Dulhan kyon sharmaye.... Damini's mom and friends danced on it.

And then the music changed and the song Mahi ve...... started playing and Samar and I danced on the

song. I pulled Damini to dance along with us. She was looking very cute.

Everyone hooted and clapped for both the moms'. The song started playing.

Navrai Majhi Laadachi Ladachi Ga

Damini's mom started dancing and then my mom joined in, even her dad joined in. They were looking

so cute.

" That was amazing Aunty... You both rocked it. Now a very beautiful performance by Manu...." Samar

said and smiled.

She started her performance on

Raghuver teri raah nihare, saatoon janam se siya.... Ghar more pardesia...aaoo padharo piya.

Oh my god ! ... She was such a graceful dancer... It seemed as if she was a professional dancer too. I

just kept looking at her continuously without blinking. She finished her dance flawlessly and everyone

gave her a very big round of applause. I was mesmerized with her dance. That elegance and poise.

She was too good.

My cute little sister started performing on the Punjabi wedding song...

She has always been a good dancer.. She was enjoying the dance to the fullest when Samar couldn't

stop himself and joined her. I also joined them. Everyone was enjoying themselves.

Then there was a performance by Samar and Manu

They started their performance on Radha teri chunri, Oh radha tera..

They danced really well on it. Everyone was enjoying it but I was somehow very restless. She looked

so good when she smiled. I couldn't even drag my eyes away from her.

After that Mehul and Megha performed on Pallo Latke and dragged Sagar and Damini on the stage too.

It was very entertaining.

Another performance by Sahil bhai, Samar ji and their friend Ria " Swati announced.

We danced on ... Dil chori sada ho gaya..

It was an awesome performance. Very hot .... All the boys were hooting.

I looked at Manu but she diverted her eyes immediately.

The next one was by Gautam and Maurvi , they danced on Morni ban ke... It was so cute. Everyone

was dancing with the music.. They also dragged Sagar and Damini. Everybody was clapping.

" Wow!! That was so entertaining Gautam bhaiya.... Now we have a performance by Samar ji.. " Swati

said.

The music started and he started his performance on the Sweetheart song...

Do nain sitaare hai chand sa mukhda

Kya kehna uska.. Afreen!

Daawat mein jaise ho shahi tukda

Uske jaisi na koi naznee

We all laughed at the words Daawat and Shahi Tukrda as he is a die hard foodie. But the very next few

lines made me lose my mind.

Sharmaaye si bagal mein,

Jo baithi hai dulhan ke,

Wahi toh meri Sweetheart hai....

And he pointed towards the bride.. Manu and Swati were sitting beside Damini.

Oh god!! No!! Did he mean Manu?? He was getting very friendly with her. She was also quite

comfortable around him. Oh god !! No, this is not done..
