‘He loves me? Is it true?’ Emerald asked herself. She was working in her office in ACEGame, but she couldn’t concentrate because of what had happened to her and Jace. As soon as she started working, all her attention was on her computer. Although she was in ACEGame, she looked at the ACE Family Grocers sales report, formerly Morgan’s Grocer. Elise successfully changed the store name, but Emerson was unhappy.

Seeing how their sales changed, Emerald was very happy. She knew they could increase their sales, especially when she got good suppliers. She started planning future upgrades for the store and was determined to make that happen.

Liam: Not at all, M. You know that I didn’t think that way. And you’re not making any delays with my work. What can you do? I’m just good with my stuff.

Their chat ended, and Emerald was back in her deep thoughts. She started to worry about her nanny, Lucy, again, and her eagerness to find her became stronger. Young Morgan temporarily forgot what happened to her and Jace while thinking about the possible cause of her nanny’s disappearance. She couldn’t fully understand why anyone would take Lucy when she was ordinary. Even though she found out that her nanny came from a rich family, no one knew about it, so she can’t connect Lucy’s disappearance for the second time, especially when the man who took Lucy said that he thought Merly had nothing to do with what happened because he still collects money from her mother by blackmailing.

Emerald promises herself that she will do everything to find her nanny because, to her, she’s the only family who gives her unconditional love. She wants to return to her the love and care Lucy had given her during those times when young Morgan’s family had been treating her badly.

It was the weekend, and Jace went to Emerald’s mansion to get Ace and bring the boy to the Higginson mansion. Young Morgan is busy on her laptop in her room when her husband knocks and gets in. “Are you not going out to send us off?” Young Morgan looks at young Higginson and returns her eyes to her laptop. “What’s keeping you busy?” He asked again, walking closer to her before looking at whatever she was doing.

“You’re not allowed to look at my work,” Emerald said before she closed her laptop. “What is it that you want?”

“Ace and I are leaving,” Jace replied. After what happened to them that night and the morning after, young Morgan’s attitude didn’t change. She was still hostile to him and only talked if it was about work-related topics.

Emerald got up from her bed and started walking to the door. But when she noticed Jace wasn’t moving, she stopped and looked at him. “What are you waiting for? I am not going to leave you here.” Then young Higginson started walking, but when he was in front of her, he stopped before pulling her closer and kissing her.

Just like before, Emerald responded wantonly. She has no power over Jace, who has the power to weaken her knees by just looking at her. She wanted more than just kissing, and young Higginson knew that. Her panties were soaking wet when he inserted his hand inside after he lifted her dress.
