Suddenly There Are Three (Bailey and Artemis)

Chapter 1004

Chapter 1004

Chapter 1004 Ruined

At the back of the gazebo, Cameron, dragged here forcefully by Bailey, stopped dead in his tracks when he heard those words.

He couldn't believe his eyes as he looked at “Blaze” inside the gazebo with a pained look in his eyes.

How was this possible? How could Blaze force another man to marry her? She used to pursue me relentlessly, claiming that she wouldn't

marry anyone else in this lifetime. Now...

Cameron couldn't bear this change in her and was about to stride into the gazebo to confront her.

Bailey quickly reached out and stopped him, lowering her voice to say, “Wait a moment. If she's truly Blaze, she wouldn't easily let another

man marry her. Cameron, don't you find this woman peculiar? She might have gone through some hardships, but it doesn't make sense for her

to change completely. So, stay calm and see if she'll do anything unusual.”

Cameron's temples throbbed as he forcefully suppressed his impulse and leaned against a fake rock.

Inside the gazebo, Artemis, after hearing Eunice's request for him to marry her, started to sneer.

How audacious of her. Does she have no shame at all? Does she not realize her own shortcomings? She should know better than anyone else

what had happened that night but is still shameless enough to order me to marry her. I have encountered many women before, but she is the

most bizarre and laughable I've ever met.

“We both know very well what happened that night, so stop trying to disgust me. It's just the two of us here. You don't need to put on an act Content (C) Nôv/elDra/ma.Org.

anymore as there's no need for it. I invited you here today because I genuinely want to resolve this matter with you. If you continue to be

stubborn, I'll have to resort to forceful measures to make you reveal the truth of that night. Ms. Blaze, you claimed to deeply love Mr. Yablon,

but you ran over here and tried to seduce me eagerly. Is this your idea of unwavering devotion?”

Eunice clenched her fist, a hint of resentment flashing in her eyes.

She wanted to win Artemis' heart, especially after finding out about his conflict with Bailey.

Alas, this man was too astute. He was absolutely convinced that nothing had happened between them.

If she forcefully pinned the blame on him, it would only backfire, making him utterly disgusted with her.

Moreover, if this matter escalated and Cameron suspected that she had other intentions, it might arouse suspicion and ultimately lead to the

loss of her protector.

No, I can't afford to lose Cameron's protection. Until I completely win over Artemis, I still need Cameron's support.

After weighing the pros and cons, she blinked, squeezing out two tears from her eyes.

Then, she looked pitifully at Artemis, choking up as she said, “T-That night, I was sleepwalking, and I mistook you for Cameron. Afterward, I

was worried that Cameron would misunderstand me as a frivolous woman, so I had no choice but to resort to this. You're right. That night,

nothing happened between us. I was just too afraid that Cameron would misunderstand me, so I dragged you into this.”

Artemis smirked coldly. He was about to say something when suddenly, Cameron leaped from behind the gazebo.

Upon seeing him, Eunice secretly cursed her luck.

“C-Cameron...”

Without waiting for her to finish, Cameron grabbed her wrist, glaring at her menacingly. “You keep saying that Artemis mistreated you, but

nothing actually happened. Sleepwalking? Mistaking him for me? Ha, these excuses are lame. I won't believe them at all. Tell me, who are

you really? And where is Blaze? You'd better confess, or I'll make you wish you were dead.”

Eunice's heart suddenly sank. I can't believe Cameron is doubting that I'm not Blaze. How is this even possible? I've been flawless in my act,

and I even used a love potion on him. He should be completely convinced by now. Why is he suddenly questioning my true identity? What

could have happened in the few minutes I was away?

“C-Cameron, What are you saying? Why can't I understand? I am Blaze, the one who chased you for years,” she insisted.

Cameron, his gaze icy, locked eyes with her, as if trying to see into the depths of her soul.

“Is that so? You still remember chasing me for years, but suddenly you're entertaining thoughts of marrying someone else. Is this your so-

called unwavering loyalty? It's truly short-lived and cheap. You've opened my eyes.”

Eunice panicked, reaching out and clutching his arm pitifully. “I never intended to marry someone else. Just now—”

Before she could finish, Cameron waved her off. “If you want me to believe you're Blaze, then show me the dagger I gave you three years

ago.”

Dagger? What dagger? I'm not Blaze. Where would I get a dagger to show him?

“A d-dagger? I, uh, I accidentally lost it. You know, I've always been careless, sometimes I can't even protect my own life, let alone a dagger.”

After hearing this, Cameron took several steps back, his face filled with suspicion as he stared at the face that looked exactly like Blaze's.

“Three years ago, I avoided you like the plague. How could I possibly have given you a dagger? You've exposed yourself, you fool. Now, tell

me. Who are you, and why are you impersonating Blaze?”

Eunice gritted her teeth.

She had been cautious with every step, but now she found herself in a trap.

What should I do? How can I escape? They should only know me as an impostor, not Eunice. As long as I can find a way to get away, there

might still be a chance for me to rise again. If I fall into their hands, there is no escaping, and I might never see the light of day again.

With that in mind, she steeled herself and reached into her pocket, pulling out a handful of flower pollen. She then scattered it forcefully

toward Artemis and Cameron.

Although not lethal, it could briefly confuse a person's mind.

As long as she could control one of them, she could emerge victorious today.

Just as the pollen was about to reach Artemis and Cameron, a breeze brought another floral fragrance from behind them, and the two

fragrances collided, canceling each other out.

Then, the strange scent gradually dissipated.

Eunice watched in disbelief as her potentially fatal attack was thwarted, her face filled with despair.

In the next moment, Catherine's somewhat mocking voice sounded, “You think your little tricks can work on me? Eunice, even though I

haven't wanted to compete with you all these years, the facts prove that you've always been inferior to me. Put away your malicious tricks. In

front of me, you won't gain anything good, and you'll only make a fool of yourself.”

Eunice had originally held a glimmer of hope, hoping they hadn't discovered her true identity, that she might still have a chance to escape.

But now that her identity had been bluntly exposed by Catherine, her escape route was completely cut off. She feared there was no chance of

turning the tables.

“Catherine, you ruined my plans again. I'm going to kill you.”
