King Zain and his fellow ministers were discussing the number of food items to give out, mostly to each villager, since it’s a big general market of different kinds. Each minister concluded with a different thought.

Everyone was dismissed from the busy meeting, and King Zain left afterwards. He walked inside his chamber and stopped. He moved his legs towards Tessa’s portrait which was hung up on the wall.

“I don’t wanna do something I will regret later, I don’t know how I fell in love with you. Despite trying to hide my feelings, your portrait alone unsealed the breast in me. I just want to see you, just once. Falling in love with someone wasn’t my calling but your portrait alone proved that wrong.

Kindly leave my room this minute”King Zain muttered angrily, pointing his index finger at the exit.

“What’s good about her, Zain. She kidnapped your sister for heaven’s sake, she’s torturing her every single day, every minute and you grew feelings for a beast like her.”Raine uttered with pure hatred.

“ENOUGH!!,, Don’t you dare utter such words about her. Kindly leave this minute in order to avoid my anger”King Zain muttered.

“Zain,”She called softly.

“Raine!!!!”he shouted.

Raine flinched back in fear, wiping her tears away.

“Your majesty, the ministers said they are ready”A guard announced.

“Don’t let me come back and meet you here.

King Zain looked at her angrily and stormed out of his chamber. He shut the door angrily.

A single tear rolled down her cheek. She wiped it quickly.

“Why didn’t you tell me all this?”Tessa cried.

“Am sorry, there wasn’t enough time to explain everything in detail, I really don’t want to stress you.”Royalty uttered.

“Are you sure you are perfectly fine Royalty?”Tessa asked.

“Am fine, don’t worry, they took promise for auction.”Royalty uttered.

“We need to be with her, we can’t get separated like this”Tessa uttered softly, touching her forehead.

“Are you alright Tessa?”Royalty asked.

“Am fine, just feeling dizzy,”Tessa replied.

Royalty moves closer to her and assists her on her feet. They walked outside the room they were kept in. And saw promise in line for the auction.

Some buyers were seated, placing their price on each lady. Princess Promise was placed on the podium.
