Sold to the Cold-Hearted King

Mrs Evelyn and Fiona stood at the T junction that leads to two separate routes.

“So this left and right route leads to two different kingdoms”Honour uttered.

The journey to the kingdoms was on the go.

The sound of chains against each other could be heard, snoring and tears could be heard. Bad odour filled the air, those odour can make one puke out of frustration and anger.

A young lady in her twenties could be seen, staring at the unconscious sisters. Their wound seems deeply and badly bruised. The lady sniffed back her nose as hot tears streamed down her cheeks. She tore princess Royalty cloth and she dressed her wound neatly. She did the same thing on the princess’ promise.

The moment she tore Princess Tessa’s cloth, her eyes moved while still closed. The young lady ignored her sudden movement and ripped off her cloth from her shoulder down to her arm. She dressed her wound neatly.

Few minutes after her kindness, Tessa opened her eyes slowly and weakly. She grunt loudly while trying to sit up. She fell back due to how weak she was.

“Royalty”She murmured as tears streamed down her cheeks. She held her head, grunting loudly. She managed to seat herself up.

Her face widened in shock as she saw how helpless her sisters were.

“How long have we been in this moving cage?”She asked her fellow victims.

“I have been in this moving cage for two weeks,”A young girl replied.

“Have been in this moving cage for one week,”six girls replied.

“Have been in this moving cage for a month”The lady that dressed her wound uttered.

“A month???”Everyone in the moving cage exclaimed, Tessa’s face widened as a cold shiver ran down her spine.

“You and your sister’s have been here since five days ago.”The lady replied.

“Five what?? Five days ago”Tessa stuttered.

“Where is their final destination?”Tessa asked.

“Assyria Kingdom, they call the people from there Assyrian. “The lady explained.

“Wow, it must be a high class kingdom”Tessa uttered.

“Yeah, it is. The King of the kingdom is a young king with high policies. He doesn’t take people as slaves, it’s just that no matter how hard you try to make a place better, there’s still going to be these bad people here and there.”The lady explained.

“You are talking as if you know that kingdom very well.”A young victim interfered.

“What’s your name please?”Tessa asked.

“My name is Eloise,”She replied with a wide smile.

“Wow, that’s a beautiful name”Tessa wowed.

“Am an Assyrian, I went to visit my aunt in another kingdom, and I got kidnapped. King Zain is a very nice and caring King, He respects his people a lot. Not until his younger sister went missing, we heard she was sold into slavery” Eloise said.

“That’s very bad, and heart breaking”They murmur.

“Ever since then, he hasn’t been himself again. He drinks sometimes, he blames himself mostly. The young princess is very pretty and kind-hearted, she’s loved by the people of Assyria. Including the old, young and children. I heard she sold into slavery to a cruel King in another kingdom far away from Assyria.”Eloise muttered.

“We need to get down, but this cage is locked,”Eloise uttered.

“They will open it soon”Tessa replied, checking Royalty and promise temperature.

“The drugs must be really effective. I need to escape from here, I can’t be sold into slavery. “Tessa thought.

“Get down everyone!”A guard screamed at them.

Everyone got out of the cage in fear.

“My sister’s are in there”Tessa stuttered.

“We are moving them to another kingdom for sale”The guard announced.

“What??, You can’t move them without me.”Tessa muttered angrily, pushing him away from the cage.

She rushed in, and dragged out her sisters, who were still unconscious. The guard pulled her out of the cage angrily and hit her hard on her right cheek.

“Do you have a death wish, how dare you kidnap me forcefully and here you are hitting me on the face.”, Tessa screamed, hitting hers back. The guard didn’t waste time in returning his. The fellow victims were shaking out of fear already. He kept hitting Tessa continuously. Tessa on the other hand didn’t get enough time to defend herself.

The guard got angrier and pulled out his whip.

“ENOUGH!!”A senior slave master yelled, stopping him from hitting Tessa.

“Go and move them to the main general market, their auction will begin the next day”He announced, going back in.

“Thank the stars”The guard muttered angrily in Tessa’s ear.

“I will kill you, idiot rotten animal”She cursed.

Fiona and her personal guards are still on their week journey to Assyria Kingdom.

“My princess, it’s very late. Let’s spend the night her”Alex said.

“Let’s take a walk further,”She replied.

Alex murmurs. Not quite long an arrow was shot across Fiona’s face.

“Watch out”Alex screamed, pushing Fiona off her horse. They both roll on the floor continuously. Fiona and Alex heard the clattering of swords against each other…

A tree stopped them from rolling, ,,,

Alex moved his hand to her cheeks, caressing it softly”Fiona,, are, you, okay”he asked again.

“Alex!! get off me, you idiot”Fiona shouted.

He stuttered”Am,, very, sorry, my princess”He apologized.

“Let’s go and save those two”Fiona uttered. Walking ahead of him.

“Alex is in love with me, No No. He can’t be in love with me. He’s feelings, he’s feelings I can see in his eyes. He loves me”Fiona thought and stopped. She turned around and her gaze came in contact with Alex’s.

“Anything wrong?”Alex asked.

“Nothing, just need your assistance here, I can’t climb this hill alone”She replied.

“Am coming to assist”He answered and ran to assist her.

Raymond and Sebastian kept fighting the attacker. Sebastian mistakenly took his veil off. And his face was revealed.

“YOU”Fiona stuttered, walking into their mist.
