Seed of Possession

Lorenzo and his family were busy preparing for the arrival of his two aunties. They make themselves presentable and Lorenzo makes sure that he will have a gift to the two surprised visitors of the house. Because he knows his aunties will like it if they feel hospitable while they are staying in the mansion.

” We should be first to greet them, Auntie Davina will surely like it” Lorenzo reminds Chantal who is putting make-up on her face.

” Go to the children first and I will follow,” Chantal softly said as she showed her gentle smile while patting her husband’s coat.

” Okay, Be quick, ” Lorenzo said before leaving the room.

A loud sigh echoed in the room as soon Lorenzo left. Chantal looks at her bruises on her arms because of what Lorenzo just did yesterday to her. Lorenzo really has a fetish on hurting someone while having sex. And Chantal wholeheartedly accepts it. Because Lorenzo is a better man than other rich people in their society. Even though he has favoritism among his children, he is still a good father to them and Chantal knew that Lorenzo loved his children.

Chantal looked at her violet satin blazer as she put it on and looked at herself in the mirror. The bruises on her shoulders and left chest are not that visible anymore. She goes back on her seat as she continues on putting make-up on her face.

LORENZO IS NOW walking towards his children’s room. All the kids are in the Maxine room. For him to not be hard in terms of children’s preparation. When he opens the door, fighting kids greet him. He left a deep sigh and went inside the room.

” What is happening here?”Lorenzo asks as he closes the door so others do not hear the fighting of his kids.

” DADDY! FLORA DIDN’T WANT TO GIVE ME THE HAIRBOW I’M GOING TO USE IT!” Maxine yelled while pointing at Flora who is now hiding the hair bow at her back.

” What hairbow?” Lorenzo asks as he looks at Flora.

” Flora show it to me ”

Flora looked at her father as she shook her head and walk on the side of the room.

” Flora!” Lorenzo called his daughter but Flora didn’t respond to her fathers words.

Lorenzo just shook his head as he looked at his eldest daughter, Maxine.

” Maxine, what about the Hairbow? Can’t you use another hair ornament?” Lorenzo asks that Maxine answer by shaking her head harshly.

” I don’t want another ornament, I WANT THAT ORNAMENT!”

” Wait, Who is the owner of the ornament?” Lorenzo asks.

” IT’S MINE! MOMMY GAVE IT TO ME YESTERDAY!” Flora suddenly yelled that made Lorenzo a little startled.

” Don’t raise your voice on me, Young Lady” Lorenzo said in a warning tone that made her run towards her nanny and hid at her back.

” Is that true?” Lorenzo asks Maxine.

“YES! But that hair bow is what I need to match with my dress and besides the hairbow is not good for her. I just want to borrow it for today!” Maxine reasoned that Lorenzo raised his left eye-brow.

“Flora show the hairbrow, I want to see it ”

Flora squinted because of what Lorenzo asked her to do. With a teary eye Flora showed the hairbow because she already knows what will happen next. Her Dad will ask her to give the hairbow to her sister to quickly solve their quarrel. And her Dad will forcefully ask for forgiveness to her sister. In the end she will be the bad kid in her fathers eyes.

” Flora, are you going to use that hairbow today?” Lorenzo asks as he walks towards Flora and kneels down to have an eye level towards his daughter.

” Yes, Mommy said that…. I’m going to wear it, ” Flora muttered, which makes Lorenzo wrinkle his forehead.

” And this is the dress that you are going to wear,” Lorenzo said as she reached the hand of the dress and looked at it carefully.

” That hair bow was more suited to Maxine, It looks good on her, ” Lorenzo bluntly said. Flora felt sad because of what her dad said. He really favors Maxine over her. She is really his favorite and she knows that she can’t do anything about it at such a young age.

” Lend it to your sister, Flora” Lorenzo said that makes Flora instantly burst into tears. She is hearing such words from her father and it’s leaving a scar on her heart. And slowly she is losing her trust and attachment to him.

” T-this is mine…”

” Don’t be a selfish kid and lend it to your sister, The both of you should give to each other ” Lorenzo said as he snatched the hairbow from Flora’s hand and gave it to Maxine.

Flora was stunned because of what her father did. She clenches her fist as she looks at her father straight in the eyes while crying. Her Father is always snatching things from her hand just to give it to her sister Maxine. She is slowly hating him. At such a young age, She already knows that her father cannot love and treat her the same as her eldest sister.

” Don’t look at me that way Flora ” Lorenzo authoritatively said. Flora wiped her tears using her hands as she marched out of the room without looking back and responding to her Fathers call.

XANDER IS PASSING IN THE EAST ANNEX of the mansion. He is going to Giselle to pick her up because their plan is already settled and Giselle is the only one needed to start it. It’s a plan that the two of them carefully created to make it successful because if it’s not work. His chance at inheritance will be on the line. This time all his trust will be on Giselle, He will put his trust on Giselle’s skills in terms of negotiation.

They only have 2 hours left before the guest arrives. His Auntie Juveline is in the hotel. And after 30 minutes she will start to travel to the mansion.

” It’s on you Giselle ” Xander murmured as he looked down on the brown envelope that he was holding. It contains the documents that Giselle asks from him. He is curious on how Giselle will use this not so important document to his auntie. Xander is just walking when he sees his niece Flora walking fastly out of the room. Xander wrinkled his forehead because of the scene that he is seeing right now?

Flora is crying but the thing is she is crying with no sound. It was different on Flora that he knows. The Flora that he knows was throwing tantrums whenever she cries and she will cry on the same spot. She will not walk or run. It was unknown to him what happened to her but it was not his business. He is not her parent.

Xander was going to continue his walk when he saw his cousin Lorenzo running out of the room and quickly follow his daughter and forcely pulled her arms.

” FLORA!” Lorenzo called his daughter.

” GO BACK TO THE ROOM AND SAY SORRY FOR YOUR RUDE BEHAVIOUR!” Lorenzo loudly said that echoed in the hallway.

Xander is just watching silently to the two. He had no plan to interfere in the problem of the two. Because he knows that is a family problem and he knows to himself that he is not part of their family. Xander is going to turn a blind eye to what he sees but he saw with his own two eyes. How Lorenzo pushed Flora on the floor. His eyes widened because of what he saw. He can’t believe that Lorenzo, the loving father who always doted on his children, carelessly pushed his 5 years old child on the floor. Because of what he saw a sudden flashback of memory come into his mind. A memory when he was a kid. When he runs towards his father to ask for his help because his mother is going to punish him. But instead to help him. He emotionlessly pushes him away from his way.

Xander closes his eyes as he clenches his fist and bite his lips to control himself. Xander quickly opened his eyes when he heard the scream of his niece. He quickly opens his eyes as he runs towards them and quickly puts himself in the middle to make himself a shield from the hand of Lorenzo who is going to punish his child using his hands.

” X-a-nder” Lorenzo stuttered as his eyes widened because of the unexpected happenings. He didn’t expect that his cousin was there on the scene.

” What are you doing to your own child?” Xander said in a dark expression. Lorenzo looks at his child Flora who is sitting on the ground crying. The time when he saw the bruise on his child’s arms he immediately went back to himself as he immediately held his head and walked away from them.

Xander just watches Lorenzo walking away from them. His eyes landed on Flora. He quickly helped him to stand up and clean her clothes. Flora is still crying because of the shock that she is experiencing at the moment. That is the first time that her father intentionally pushed her down on the floor.

After her father walked away from them she looked at her uncle. She doesn’t know what to do. Is she going to cry or run away? She feels like all the things that happened are her fault. She sniffed as she wiped her tears away.

” Stand up and fix yourself, Go to your mother and tell her what happened. ” Xander coldly said as he stood up and left the child alone in the hallway. Xander immediately leaves Flora because he doesn’t know what to do after what he did.

” I can’t believe this” Xander murmured as he looked back to see what Flora was doing after leaving her. Flora is just standing in the hallway watching him going away from her. Xander tightly closed his eyes because even him cannot help himself. In that case, How dare he help others if he can’t help himself.

Xander ran hastily back to their room, He quickly opened the door as he left a deep sigh and automatically sitted on the floor. He feels so horrible towards himself.

GISELLE IS WATCHING XANDER having a mental breakdown in their room. Giselle frowns because of what she is seeing right now.

” What happened?” Giselle asks while brushing her hair. She is still calm after seeing Xander having a hard time. Like what she said she is not good at consoling people.

” Stand up and fix yourself, Save that in your next appointment with your doctor. ” Giselle bluntly said. Xander obediently follows what Giselle said as he fixes himself and coughs to clear his throat.

” Here’s the document that you’re asking for, ” Xander said as he handed the documents to Giselle.

Giselle looks inside of the envelope as she checks if all the documents that she asks are in there. After checking Giselle looked at Xander as she stood up and smiled.

” Let’s surprise the surprise guest. We only have this chance” Giselle seriously said. Xander just nodded his head as he stared coldly towards her.

” cold” Giselle sarcastically said as she walked first outwards the room.

Giselle didn’t give a d*mn towards Xander feelings, He is the man who threat her and she is not dumb to give sympathy and much kindness to the person who makes her put into this mess.

” After I get the money, I immediately leave this f*cking country and live in the most hidden country in the world” Giselle murmured as she walked straight out of the mansion. While walking she can’t help but notice the servants who are busy preparing the mansion. As soon as she gets out a Veneno Roadster stops in front of her. Rolando steps out from the car as he walks towards her and passes the key to his master who is standing in Giselle’s back.

Giselle is not surprised that Xander is already on her back.

” Let’s go” Giselle said as she went to get in the car.

She can’t believe that they are preparing for the surprise guest. A surprise guest that they already know is coming.
