“Are you here to visit Ms. Sadler? Is Mr. Anderson here too?”
Shane replied, “Mr. Barlow is still in Candor City. He sent me to take Ms. Sadler away.”
Caroline said worriedly, “But Ms. Sadler is not feeling well and needs to be observed for a while longer.”

Caroline insisted, saying, “I need to inform Madam Sonia about this.”
To that, he responded, “Ms. Sadler, Mr. Barlow said you can go with me anytime if you want to leave.”
Of course, Mayra was willing to leave with Shane. Before leaving, she changed into the clothes she brought and took the items on the table
with her.
She didn’t expect Anderson to send Shane over. Moreover, how did Anderson know she was in the hospital?
Before following Shane out, Mayra stopped him.
“Mr. Gorman, could you do me a favor?”
Mr. Gorman? He was only a year younger than Anderson! Why did she
address him as that?
Shane calmed down. “Ms. Sadler, go on.”
Mayra said, “Give this bracelet to Isa and tell her it’s from Andy. Ask her not to be sad anymore.”
Shane quickly agreed.
Watching him leave, Caroline looked at her with slight disbelief. “I knew Mr. Anderson wouldn’t misjudge people. It’s Julia who
misunderstood you.”
With her eyes lowered, Mayra said softly, “I just don’t understand why she has such a strong hostility toward me.”
“Julia is also doing it for Mr. Anderson’s good. Don’t worry, Madam Sonia won’t let you suffer in vain this time.”
Caroline handed her a bag of medicine. “Rest well when you go back.”
Just then, Sonia entered the ward with two bodyguards behind her. “It looks like you’re tough, seeing as you’re unharmed. When you return to Anderson’s side, remember what to say and what not to say.”
Mayra hid behind Shane without showing herself. Finally, Shane said, ” Madam Sonia, Mr. Barlow said that if similar incidents happen again, he won’t let it go.”
“Farewell!”
As Mayra followed Shane out timidly, she couldn’t help making a face at Sonia before leaving.
Caroline said, “She…”
Sonia just coldly snorted. “What a mischievous child.”
When Mayra stepped out of the ward, she didn’t expect to see Hailey in such a sorry state. She was kneeling on the ground, looking visibly
unwell.
Her clothes were wet as if she had been splashed with water. She looked as if she would collapse with a push.
When Mayra was about to walk past Hailey, she couldn’t help but stop her steps. “Hailey…” She then squatted down in front of her. “Isa won’t leave him. Please get up.”
Shane glanced at her sternly and said, “Ms. Sadler, Mr. Barlow said not to meddle in other people’s affairs.”
Mayra didn’t want to either and understood Anderson’s standpoint,
but she would always remember the help Hailey had given her in her past life. She understood what it felt like to be isolated and
condemned.
Hailey said, “Are you here to gloat at me? I don’t need your pity.”
