” Should we check if she’s okay? I’m worried about her , Dementrio.” Rhea muttered as she bit her lip.

” She’s not a child, Rhea and can’t you see she was about to hit you?” He thundered at her, he was upset about Rhea’s behavior. Her live for Cindy was blinding her making her unable to tell the truth from bunch of lies.

” We got into a heated argument and it’s not her fault.” Rhea tried to defend.

” You don’t want to see bad in whatever she does…” he was trying to control himself from saying anything that could hurt her.

” She is the only family I have. What should I do?” She asked in a quiver.

” Does it give her the right to hurt you each time?” He asked and got up to walk away.

” Where are you going to?”

” I want to see Cathy. You know she lost someone.” He replied.

” You also know I almost lost our baby.”

” Why are you being such a drama queen?” He asked, “I will come back soon.” He assured me.

She was so angry as he left, she got up from the bed to remove whatever had been placed in her.

” Rhea, Rhea!” Dementrio called out as he saw her leaving.

” What do you want?” She asked him,

” You know you’re not supposed to leave. You’re still not better.”

” You can’t tell me how to live my life, Dementrio!”she yelled at him in anger.

From where she was, Nelly watched them. It was the first time she was seeing them argue. Rhea was visibly angry and sge knew it was because of how close Demetrio and Cathy were .

” Rhea?”

She turned to look and it was who she hadn’t expected, in excitement she rushed to hug him. Dementrio could only watch but was jealous, his both palms were rolled up in a fist and he hated the fact Rhea was hugging another man in his presence. He got so angry and couldn’t take it anymore when the young man kissed her on the forehead.

He walked to her and held her hands to show possession, Rhea who had looked for an opportunity to teach him a lesson freed herself as she hugged the young man back.

Dementrio was angry, he had to control himself from giving him a punch.

” How are you Ryan. I really missed you.” She smiled at him, and touched his cheeks.

Dementrio wasn’t finding it amusing anymore,

” Who are you?” He asked holding, Rhea’s hand so tight that she won’t free herself.

” I’m Ryan…Rhea’s friend.” He introduced and brought out his hands for a handshake.

Dementrio had to accept not to embarrass him, if it wasn’t a hospital building, he would have given him a punch for planting a kiss on Rhea’s forehead.

” Rhea never mentioned any friend, I know just one.” He said.

” It’s Cindy’s brother, Block head.” Rhea responded.

” Cindy’s brother?” Cathy asked, she had been listening to them .

” Yes…this is Ryan, Mr. Chester’s son.”

” How come I know nothing about him.”

” Mr. Anderson does and that why he had tried to kill my mother.”

” Stop the accusations now. You can’t come here and say rubbish hoping someone would believe you.” Cathy spurted in anger.

“We aren’t informed that Cathy has a brother, everyone knows that it’s just Cindy and Cathy.”

” Cathy had no knowledge you existed. I won’t blame her if she doubts me.” He spoke boldly.

” How does Cindy know about you?” Cathy asked.

” I told her, she doubted and a DNA test was done.” He answered.

” DNA? That’s huge. Cathy.” Nelly gasped.

” Rhea, is he telling the truth?”

” Yes …he has the identity of Mr. Chester.”

” We can talk to Mr. Anderson.”

” He’s dead. He died after seeing the face of your sister.”

” I know, he was informed she was dead . Her ghost must have scared him to death. How about Axl?”

” He’s in the hospital…long story.”

” You look more beautiful than we saw the last time.” He whispered into her ears, but Dementrio heard it.

Rhea pushed him away playfully.

“You have not changed a bit.” She squeezed his cheecks roughly.

“Where’s Cindy’s house? I really need to find her.” He asked her.

” The same place…I could show you if you want.”

She made a pace to move but Dementrio stopped her,

” Where are you going to?”

” Out of course. I’m going to Cindy’s house.”

” With him? You know you can’t do that.”

” But you can leave the mother of your unborn baby to console another lady right?” She asked with a frown.

” I’m really sorry. Don’t leave with him, I will take you home. I promise.”

She looked at him akwardly and turned to Ryan.

“I can’t see Cindy now but I’m sure you have something to tell Cathy.”

” Yes…huge information for Cathy. Go with your boyfriend and we will meet some other time maybe in Cindy’s house.”

” I don’t think I can talk to Cindy now ”

” You guys had a fight? I thought that was impossible?”

” It’s a long story , Ryan. I will tell you all about it some other time.” She hugged him and said her goodbyes to Cathy and Nelly who weren’t paying attention to them, they were more engrossed in some sort of conversation.

Dementrio wore a frown throughout the conversation, she dragged him lightly as they left the room.

” You can smile now.” Rhea said.

” I don’t like that guy at all. I want you to stop seeing him.”

” Okay…I won’t see him.”

” Really?” Dementrio asked surprised, he had not expected that response from her.

” Sure…I won’t see him any more.” She smiled at him.

” Sorry, I walked out in you earlier. I know it was a revenge plan of yours.”

She said nothing and pecked him on the left cheek. He started the car afterwards heading home with Rhea. The day had gone really bad for all of them and he could only hope the night was going to be better and a make over for how bad the day went.
