Chapter 13 Bestowing Favors

I didn’t know how I escaped from Kenneth Quinn’s house. It was already eight o’clock at night when I

came to work. Molly had come too. She still showed a frowny face when she saw me.

I was not in the mood to care about this. After changing my clothes, I sat and dazed at a corner while

thinking of Kenneth in my mind.

He didn’t do anything to me after I pushed him away. He even asked someone to send me a dress to

wear. I was sad because I was reminded of a sad memory that happened to me in the past. The
