My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna)

Chapter 1993

Chapter 1993

After making sure that everything had been taken care of, I turned around and pretended to be calm, "Don't you know that taking a bath is a private matter?"

"Yes," Hendrix didn't shift his gaze away as he answered, "We already have two children. Why would you be bothered about that?"

"You..." Great. He actually remembered what I said this morning.

With just that single sentence, I was speechless.

I looked at Hendrix, who was as calm and indifferent as ever, as though he was the very incarnation of justice.

The more I thought about it, the angrier I got. The corners of my mouth curled up into a malicious grin, and I immediately came up with an idea.

Making sure that Hendrix was still looking in my direction, I adjusted my composure and gave him a charming look. I crawled halfway out of the bathtub and stuck to the edge of the tub, throwing him seductive glances.

"It's so boring bathing alone. Are you sure you don't want to join me? After all, aren't you the most intimate person to me in the whole wide world?"

I raised my hand and rested it on the bathtub while water dripped from my arms. As I stroked the edge of the bathtub, my eyes sparkled, making me look even more attractive.

"Are you sure you won't come over?"

The warm water was soothing and welcoming, and the room gurgled with an ambiguous aura. What man could withstand such an atmosphere and remain unaffected?

With that, I leaned my face against the bathtub and chuckled, waiting for Hendrix's reaction.

He stood still, leaning on the sink. His deep eyes were filled with infatuation as though they had been set on fire and was about to make a move. Hendrix suddenly walked over to the side of the tub, grabbed the bathrobe on the rack, and threw it at me.

After I came to my senses, I realized that my upper body was covered up with the bathrobe. The sexy atmosphere vanished in an instant.

Then, Hendrix's indistinct voice rang out in the bathroom, "If you stay in there any longer, the dishes will get cold. Don't keep Aurelia waiting."

With that, he then walked off. When I threw the bathrobe off my head, I saw him walking out of the bathroom without looking back. I was so mad that I threw the bathrobe on the floor.

What was that? Was he ignoring his wife over his own daughter?

He was no fun!

When I arrived downstairs, the dishes were already served on the table. Aaron and Hendrix were sitting around the table with the children.

I sat down, and we began to eat.

Hendrix was the same whether he

was at the dining table and when he was at the company. He had a serious expression on his face al the time. In terms of aura, he could pressure his opponent to voluntarily submit to him at anytime.

But Aurelia didn't seem scared of him at all.

"Daddy! I want chicken wings!"

"Daddy! I want that one in front of you!"

"Daddy! I want some more!"

Everyone at the table was at a loss for words.

Aurelia spoke throughout the whole meal.

In contrast, Wynn was much quieter. He sat still, slowly and politely. He was a smaller version of Hendrix.

Their differences were probably rooted in the environment they grew up in.

The Reid family raised Aurelia, and she was treated like a little princess, doted on by everyone. She was cheerful and lively.

Ever since he was young, Wynn had

been by Hendrix's side, so he lacked the joys of laughter and family affection. He didn't pay much attention to the atmosphere at the dining table and only treated it as something routine.

He was a child, but he had already followed in Hendrix's footsteps and was indifferent to others. If he was so restrained in front of his family, he might live a very lonely life in the future.

Thinking of this, I tried to teach him how to place an offer and place food on another person's plate.

"Wynn, Mom likes the dish in front of you. Could you add some of it for me?"

"Wynn, Aurelia can't reach that dish. You need to help her and take care of her, ok?"NôvelDrama.Org owns this.

After a few rounds of this, Wynn

understood how to express love for Aurelia through food, and Aurelia learned from him as well. Once she stopped talking, she would place

some delicious food onto Wynn's plate.

UMS

The quiet dining table erupted into a lively affair.

On the other hand, Aaron looked listless, his face practically screamed "I'm an outsider".
