"On top of that, you bumped into her in a different hotel last time, right? And you heard her voice from the hotel room next to yours?" Yesseca asked. Ruth nodded, "Yes, I felt that something suspicious was going on then, and now even more so."

Yesseca continued, "It is possible that the baby she's pregnant with, isn't Zorion's."

Ruth went pale.

Even though she wasn't a part of the Quartley Palace anymore, she still cared about Zorion.

Ruth became very upset when Yesseca told this to her!

When it came to men, there were two things that would hurt them the most, being cheated on and having their opportunity to be a father taken from them.

"That can't be possible." Ruth muttered, "She wouldn't dare do that."

"I thought so as well. But things don't seem to be that way. She's been frequenting hotels, she's pregnant and has lied to Madam Quartley. It seems she's a lot bolder than we take her for." Yesseca explained.

"Think about it, Ruth. She's been married to Zorion for years and she hasn't once gotten pregnant in that time. Now, you've run into her twice, in two separate hotels. You even heard her making those kinds of sounds in her hotel room, then she gets pregnant. This is very suspicious."

The more Ruth thought about it, the more suspicious she became.

Yesseca was making a lot of sense.

She panicked, "Yesseca, what do we do now?"

Yesseca didn't want Ruth to get involved with this.

"Ruth, this isn't any of your business," Yesseca replied.

Ruth was aware of this.

But she couldn't leave it alone.

Ruth replied, "But Yesseca, Master Zorion is a good man. I could leave things be, but I can't just watch him get cheated on! He needs to know if that baby isn't his!"

"Ruth, calm down." Yesseca consoled her. "First of all, that's just our assumption."

"Furthermore, this is a personal matter for the Quartley family to sort out. We as outsiders shouldn't get involved in any of it."

Yesseca paused, then said, "Besides,

once Yuliana gives birth to the baby, I'm sure they'll notice how different the baby looks compared to Zorion. Someone will run a DNA testo see if it really is his."

Ruth knew that Yesseca was making a lot of sense, but she still felt anxious.

She didn't want Yesseca to worry about her over this matter, so she quickly agreed, "Alright Yesseca. You're right."

After ending the call, Ruth kept her phone and rushed out to the hotel lobby.

Yesseca may be right but she couldn't remain indifferent to it.

Ruth couldn't calm down and decided to head outside of the hotel to go for a walk.

During her walk, she bumped into an old friend of hers.

It was Lily.

Ruth and Lily used to be servants at the Quartley Palace.

They got along quite well together.

Lily was very happy to see Ruth.

She heard about how Ruth had been getting along from other people.

They told her that Ruth was doing very well and had opened a bakery.
