Kelvin walked up to Sandy who stood by the window overlooking the streets, it was almost bedtime and neither of the girls were back yet..

Whenever she saw a car’s flashing headlight, she hoped it was at least one of them, what were they thinking leaving the kids all to her?

They’ve been causing one chaos or the other around the apartment just because Bianca wasn’t here to scold them..

It appeared they were always composed whenever she was around..

“Grandma, can you come read bedtime stories for Kiara and I? mummy isn’t back yet” He pouted blinking his eyes at her..

“Okay, why don’t you go pick out the one you want me to read to you”

He gave her a nod and left her side leaving Sandy to her thoughts again, it was a good thing the girls were already fitting in somewhere, and a part of her was saddened at the thought of them being separated in the near future..

Olivia, Bianca and Cassie would eventually have to move out of here at some point, this little family they created was surely going to be missed dearly..

Taking a deep breath, she swiped the curtains closed and headed up to Kelvin’s room..

The sound of an annoying alarm clock forced the eyelids of Olivia open, she raised a palm over her face to adjust better to the room’s brightness..

She sat up from the bed stretching her arms by her sides while a yawn escaped her mouth tirelessly..

The room’s outline started becoming a bit familiar yet distant to what she usually woke up to every morning..

Her eyes darted around the room which wasn’t hers, she stepped out of the bed whilst the sheets shielding her nude form slipped away from her body..

“Isn’t it too early to tease me?”

Damien’s crisp voice resounded opposite as he stepped out casually from the bathroom wiping his hair with a small towel..

“Sh*t!” she cursed pulling the sheets over her naked body..

Her eyes grew wide as reality dawned on her, Damien’s chuckle made her even more embarrassed than she already was..

Her plan wasn’t to sleep over at his place, he was the sick one but somehow her body was hurting at different places while he appeared normal, what about her poor little baby at home? he must have waited all throughout the night for her to come back home..

“This isn’t funny! why didn’t you wake me up? oh my God! Kelvin must be so mad at me” She picked up her clothes littered around the room in frustration..

“I couldn’t.. you looked too tired last night and I just couldn’t find it in myself to wake you up from your sleep” Damien defended tossing the wet towel over her face..

Olivia took off the towel off her face and threw it back at him, she walked past him while the extra long bed sheets tailed behind her as she head into bathroom…

“That is my favorite sheet”

“I don’t care!” She slammed the door shut in irritation..

Few minutes after she had left the room, the faint sounds of water running in the bathroom reached his ears..

He touched the back of his head feeling an oncoming headache which was still the effect of the amount of alcohol he had consumed in the last days..

An unfamiliar ringtone buzzed on the nightstand table next to the bed..

He walked over to it and picked it up, the caller’s id had a clear bold ‘Mum’ with two red love emojis, it was her mum calling..

He turned to the door leading to the bathroom which was still closed and the water was still on which meant she wasn’t done yet..

“Hello Mrs Parker” He beamed..

Whatever he heard at the other end made his brows crease, his hand gripping the phone tightened like he was about to squash it..

“I’m on my way!” he gritted tossing the phone on the bed..

He reached for his new phone which he remembered placing into a drawer, he took it out and scrolled through it for a brief second before he placed it against his ear..

His once cheerful smile was now replaced with an unfathomable anger, his jaw clenched as he moved to the closet grabbing any outfit his hand touched..

“I gave you all one single job! and that was to protect my son and his mother! but you couldn’t!-

Olivia stepped out of the bathroom all dressed up, she wiped her hair with a towel as she walked up to the vanity table in search for the hair dryer..

She noticed Damien’s facial expression and his harsh tone which was alarming, he was all smiles before she left for the bathroom..

“Kelvin and Kiara are missing, they were taken on their way to school” he broke the sad news to her and just like he had predicted her reaction, she tossed the towel aside and half ran to his side..

Bianca’s hands reached for the phone buzzing around her, she tucked her hand underneath her pillow and pulled it out..

She placed it against her ear without taking a look at the screen..

Her eyes that was still closed flew open which made her sit up on the bed..

“What?!” she screamed out in shock as she stared around her unfamiliar surroundings..

Her hand raked through her hair in frustration, she must have fallen asleep before the movie had ended..

This was bound to happen since Xander picked a romance themed movie again..

She stepped out of the bed as she made her way out of the empty room..

Xander wasn’t in sight either, she tied her loose hair into a ponytail while running down the stairs where she bumped into Charles who was about to climb the first stair…

“Woah careful!” He cautioned but she was sadly in no mood to say hello or stop for a second, he stared at her back hurrying off as if she was being chased by a ghost…

Just who on earth would dare to do away with Kiara and Kelvin..

Kelvin had always been the main target but for some reasons, Kiara always end up with him whenever they were in trouble..

They were almost inseparable..

“Bianca? you’re leaving already?” Xander who suddenly popped out of the kitchen asked, he had a white spotless apron on with a spatula on his left hand..

“There’s no time to explain, an emergency just popped up at home”

Xander was quick to pull off his apron tossing it to Charles who made a second appearance..

“I’ll give you a ride home, come on” he offered which she accepted..

Olivia and Damien stepped out of the black car they came along with, as soon as the guards saw them approaching, they gave a bow..

“What did you find?!” Damien barked glaring hard at them all until one of his men took the intiative to step out..

“Boss, we lost them, this was the route we last saw them take, they came with a black van but as soon as we chased after them, about five black vans came out of nowhere and-

Damien cursed beneath his breath running his finger through his hair, who would be so bold enough to touch his kid?

As if recalling something, he snapped his head to the guard once more..

“I want you to track the location of Rihanna Brown immediately! Go find her and make sure you don’t lose her otherwise, I won’t hesitate to chop off your limbs!”

If it turned out to be her this time, he’d surely make her pay the hefty price for messing this way with him..

He pulled Olivia into his warm embrace stroking her hair softly..

Rihanna wasn’t one to stay quiet for a long time, he should have known better than allowing her roam freely after what she had done to Olivia in the past..

“Please trust me, we will find them” He assured..
