Master of his heart (Brielle and Max)

Chapter 1246

Emma's fingers shook so badly she could barely grip the mouse. She quickly reached out to tech support, but she couldn't counter Leona's claims. There was no way she could just share the surveillance footage with her followers. The online crowd was going nuts, only

seeing Peyton flagging down a cab.

Leona's cheek still bore the mark of a slap, clear as day.

Emma watched helplessly as her follower count plummeted by the hundreds. It felt like she was suffocating, the hateful comments choking her with every word.

Tech support couldn't do much either. These weren't bots sent by Leona; these were real viewers, genuinely pissed off by what Leona had said. They flooded Emma's stream, spewing their anger. All tech support could do was mute them, but that left Emma's stream eerily silent, like she was all alone, with no one left to interact with her.

She thought about shutting down the stream, but with a month's goal still unmet, she couldn't bring herself to quit.

Next door, Leona had gained over ten thousand new followers by playing the victim, praised as a kind-hearted angel. "Next time, think twice before trying to be a philanthropist. Not everyone's grateful."

"Exactly. Emma's just jealous of Leona's money. Probably never seen a Lambo in her life. Her mom's clueless too."

Leona, reading these comments, smiled slyly. "Oh, Emma didn't mean it. I'm not petty. Just wanted to clear up why I got slapped. No need for insults. I'm already popular enough. Attacking her just makes it look like we're bullying."

Then, she turned to the camera with a sweet smile. "Let's keep the songs coming tonight, and don't forget to follow me. Let's not talk about anyone else here, okay?"

She had brought it up herself, yet now she was telling her fans to stop. But her followers, mixed with the slap story, were all sympathizing with her.

Emma's stream had a good number of viewers, but most were just there for the drama.

"You think she'll get a big tip by the end of the month?"

"Who'd tip her? Blind? She deserves a slap, not a tip."

"I tipped her a dollar. Consider it charity, haha."

Emma saw the dollar tip and felt humiliated, tears welling up as she bit her lip.

"What's wrong? Got a tip and not even a thank you? Lose your voice?"

"Not only is she toxic, but she's also got no manners."

These trolls kept coming, not directly insulting, so tech support couldn't ban them.

Meanwhile, at the mansion, Aubree was checking out the new streamers chosen by Stellar Stage

Entertainment and witnessed the et

whole scene. She rubbed her

temples, realizing Emma was out of her league against Leona's tactics. The entertainment industry was filled with much worse. This content belongs to Nô/velDra/ma.Org .

Stellar Stage Entertainment could offer a clean platform without forcing artists into uncomfortable situations, but they couldn't protect them from these kinds of attacks. If this kept up, Emma was sure to be the last one standing. The few hundred followers she gained last night had now dropped to zero.

Aubree frowned, thought for a moment, then sent the live stream link to Dustin with a message.

Mr. Lynch, Bri's company is picking new streamers. What do you think of this one?

Dustin, about to enjoy a coffee and tackle a pile of documents for Infinity Brilliance, raised an eyebrow at Aubree's message.

A streamer? Was Stellar Stage Entertainment expanding?

Too bad his sister couldn't remember him now; he would've loved to share this video with her. With the time difference between North America and Beaconsfield, it was night for Emma and day for him.

Dustin took a sip of his coffee, noting he had ten minutes before his meeting. He clicked on the live stream link.

A woman's face filled his screen, striking and wild. He paused, intrigued. He glanced at the viewer count - over ten thousand - but the chat was filled with mockery.

Dustin was about to close the window, indifferent to such streams, but he had to admit Stellar Stage Entertainment had an eye for talent.

Just then, Aubree sent another message.

Mr. Lynch, what do you think?

Dustin's lips curved into a smirk, typing back two words.

Quite wild.
