Chapter 1057: Who Said We're Breaking Up!?

With Brandon's teasing, Sandy's expression finally relaxed a bit, no longer as tense as before.

But there was still a hint of coldness in her tone as she replied, "My sister's hungry."

Leaving this remark, Sandy pulled her hand away from Brandon's grip and turned to walk into the hotel.

Brandon understood the situation and didn't press too hard. He nodded, "I'll go buy something now,

and I'll be back soon."

Sandy didn't respond, she simply entered the hotel.

After watching Sandy walk inside, Brandon turned and headed to his car to go get some food for Stella.

Back in the room, Sandy approached Stella, who was sitting on the edge of the bed. She took a seat

beside her.

Stella glanced at Sandy's face and raised an eyebrow, "Feeling bolder now? Don't want him anymore?"

Stella was straightforward, not beating around the bush with Sandy.

Knowing that Stella had always favored her, Sandy leaned against Stella's shoulder before she could

erupt, "Sis, I can't bring myself to do it."

Stella gave Sandy's forehead a playful poke upon hearing this, "Serves you right."

"Why aren't you scolding Brandon? He's the one who..."

"If he still cares about that old flame of his, what does that make you, Sandy?" Stella's words were

direct, not sugarcoating anything.

Sandy was caught off guard by Stella's response, momentarily lost for words to counter her argument.

She simply remained stiffly against Stella's shoulder, silent.

Stella wasn't her usual cheerful self; she gave Sandy a nudge, "Sit up straight."

Sensing Stella's genuine anger this time, Sandy dared not defy her. She obediently straightened up.

Stella, noticing Sandy's cooperation, softened her tone a bit and said, "Sandy, Brandon loves you. I can

see that. Listen, let him explain this situation to you. If you're upset, you can scold him, give him the

cold shoulder, but think carefully about how to handle this without hurting your relationship. Don't act

too impulsively, or you might regret it later."

After listening to Stella's advice, Sandy remained silent for a moment before nodding lightly, "I

understand."

Once Sandy acknowledged, the doorbell rang.

Stella glanced toward the door and then pushed Sandy, "Aren't you going to answer it?"

Sandy hesitated for a moment before getting up to answer the door.

Brandon stood outside, sweat on his forehead likely from running, his breath still uneven from the

exertion.

When he saw Sandy, his eyes visibly lit up.

Sandy looked at him for a few seconds, then stepped aside to let Brandon in.

Brandon placed the food on the table and turned to Stella, "Sis, why don't you eat something first?"

Stella got up and walked toward the door. "I just got another room. I'm not hungry. You two eat and NôvelDrama.Org owns all © content.

have a good talk."

As she spoke, Stella cast a warning glance at Sandy.

Sandy lowered her head and timidly asked, "Aren't you going to eat, sis?"

"I've had my fill of anger. Why should I eat?" Stella's tone was still a bit sharp when addressing Sandy.

Sandy understood that Stella was truly angry, so she didn't press the matter further.

Just as Stella was about to leave, she turned back to Brandon, "Brandon, later, tell your family that I'll

take Sandy over."

Brandon nodded, "Sure."

After seeing Stella off to the next room, Brandon closed the door and turned to face Sandy.

The room was now just the two of them.

Sandy looked at the takeout bags on the table and without hesitation began unpacking them. As she

was about to start eating, Brandon stopped her hand gently, "Let me do that."

Sandy didn't resist, she pulled her hand back and watched as Brandon took out the food from the bags.

Once he had everything arranged, Sandy noticed that most of the dishes were ones she liked.

She looked at Brandon in astonishment, and he coincidentally met her gaze. He spoke softly, "It's all for

you."

Sandy looked at the spread of dishes on the table and asked, "But didn't you say you were buying them

for my sister?"

"Turns out she ate something on the plane. She told me to get it for you instead."

Sandy didn't reply immediately after hearing Brandon's explanation.

Brandon bent down to get a pair of chopsticks and then joined Sandy on the couch. "Let's eat

something."

Sandy didn't resist; she sat down as he suggested, taking the chopsticks from his hand.

However, she didn't eat much, only a few bites before placing the chopsticks down.

The moment she did, Brandon immediately looked at her, concerned, "Is something wrong? Don't like

it? I can get something else..."

"No need. I'm not that hungry." Sandy interrupted him softly.

Brandon gazed at Sandy and seemed about to say something, but then stopped himself.

Sandy remained silent as well.

For a brief while, they both stayed frozen in their respective positions, with Sandy squatting by the table

and Brandon sitting on the couch. After about ten seconds, Sandy finally turned her head to look at

Brandon, "Aren't you going to say something?"

Knowing Sandy well enough, Brandon sat up and moved closer to her, "Sandy, aside from knowing her,

there's nothing more intimate between Olive and me."

Sandy responded with a simple acknowledgment, "Go on."

Brandon glanced at Sandy's face and saw that her expression had softened a bit. He proceeded to

explain his connection with Olive, giving her an honest account of the situation.

After he finished, he carefully reached out and touched Sandy's hand, his tone carrying a hint of

pleading, "Sandy, I was wrong. Can you stop being mad?"

Sandy was initially going to pull her hand away, but she remembered Stella's words and decided

against it. She kept her hand still, looking at him with a stern face, "I'm still upset."

"Don't be mad, okay? If you want, you can slap me a couple of times. Holding onto anger is bad for

your health." Brandon's voice softened.

Listening to Brandon's words, Sandy suddenly found herself wanting to laugh. This tall and imposing

man, who was fierce and determined in the business world, now seemed so vulnerable in front of her.
