Your Highness's Beloved Medical-skilled Princess

Chapter 137 To Apologize

Chapter 137 To Apologize

Yu Wenhao felt sad and hurt right at this moment.

He said coldly, “If there is such a girl, she can only bring you torment. No joy and no happiness.”

“If there is torment, there must be joy as well.”

Yu Wenhao drank off his alcohol. He found that he and Gu Si hadn’t had much in common any more.

Their friendship had come to an end.

However, he still pointed at Gu Si and gave his final advice. “Don’t do that. You’ll regret.”

Gu Si caught his hand and said, “Sit down and drink with me. You don’t know anything. Do you really

love Chu Mingcui? No.”

“I will be sad if I can’t be with my girl; I’ll feel like the sky has lost its color if I don’t see her even just for

one day. And you? You never feel the same way for Chu Mingcui. You just thought she was perfect for

you. As for your wife...come on, she set you up. Of course, you have no feelings for her.”

Yu Wenhao pushed him away and said with a bothered expression, “You need to wake up.” Then he

left.

“I’m in love with someone!” Gu Si shouted to him in a sudden.

Yu Wenhao turned back as he didn’t know this. He asked, “Who?”

Gu Si raised a finger. “Yuan Qing...”

A boot was flung towards his face the next moment. Yu Wenhao rushed to him like a furious lion and

beat him up.

Gu Si was dazed. But he was unwilling to be beaten for no reason. Therefore, urged by a tipsy feeling,

he tussled with Yu Wenhao.

They didn’t use martial arts but exchanged blows like rascals. In the end, they sat on the ground glaring

at each other and panted a little.

“How dare you! How dare you have such a delusional feeling for my wife!” Yu Wenhao grabbed a

handful of sand and cast it over Gu Si’s face.

“Are you crazy? What are you talking about? I like Yuan Qingping! Your sister-in-law!”

Yu Wenhao was confounded a moment then he realized it was a mistake. He only had a vague

impression of Yuan Qingping, a sharp-tongued lady, as she had paid a visit to the mansion once.

He took the tone of a good friend and asked, “That girl has a sharp tongue. How could you like her?

You didn’t even know her before. When did you meet?”

Gu Si glared at him and said, “Why should I tell you?”

“Sorry, I know I was too impulsive. Here, wipe your face.” Yu Wenhao stood up and helped him rise.

“Why didn’t you tell me early? She’s my sister-in-law and I have a say in this, you know.”

Gu Si waved his hand and said, “Forget it. Just mind your own business. You look worse than me. And

you may make things worse. So, no, thanks.”

Yu Wenhao was still confused. “You like Yuan Qingping? Since when?”

“Do you believe in love at first sight? Just one sight, and you’ll know she’s the one you’re looking for,”

Gu Si said with great affection.

Yu Wenhao looked at him and thought he was talking nonsense.

He thought, ‘Love at first sight? What gibberish! He must be mad.’

“Of course, I believe. It’s called destiny. You keep working on it. I shall go.”

He patted on Gu Si’s shoulder and then turned around and left.

Yu Wenhao had a fight with Gu Si and got sweated. He climbed into his saddle and felt lonelier.

A breeze puffed over his face. He felt a tingling pain in his head and face. He wore a self-deprecating

smile because he hadn’t had a fight like this for long and got dusty and disgraced.

Yu Wenhao had never imagined that Gu Si would fall in love with Yuan Qingping. Because Gu Si’s

father would never permit his son to marry a daughter of the Yuan family. It was a vain hope and no

wonder Gu Si was so desperate and sad.

However, when thinking about himself, Yu Wenhao felt he was extremely unlucky to have married...

He sighed. He didn’t even want to think about it. He would go back hurriedly as soon as he finished

work before. But everything was different now.

Half drunk, Yu Wenhao still didn’t want to stay out for too long. So, he galloped back to his residence.

At the gate, he called the gatekeeper to hold the horse. Then he saw Qi Luo come forward with a

nervous expression.

“Your Highness, it’s almost midnight. What had held you up?” she asked.

“I was busy. What’s wrong?” Yu Wenhao went straight into the house.

Qi Luo caught up and said, “Her Highness has been here at Wuthering Heights since seven o’clock. It’s

been over four hours and she’s still sitting on the stone steps, waiting for you.”

Hearing this, Yu Wenhao strode inside instantly.

“What did she want?”

“I asked but she just said she could wait you back.”

Yu Wenhao quickly ran back to Wuthering Heights. Then he saw Yuan Qingling sitting on the step,

leaning her head against the pillar and sleeping.

It was frosty at night. Yuan Qingling was curling up and she seemed cold.

Perhaps hearing footsteps, she opened her bleary eyes and rubbed. She held on to the pillar and

staggered to her feet slowly.

“You’re back.”

Yu Wenhao remembered her indifference so he restrained his concern and anxiety. He asked, “Why Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.

are you here? What do you want?”

“I just want to talk to you.” She looked helpless.

Yu Wenhao took pity on her and said, “Get inside.” He cast a glance at her and passed by her.

Yuan Qingling followed him step by step and gave two sneezes.

When they entered the room, she suddenly hugged Yu Wenhao from back. He didn’t even have time to

turn around.

He froze for a moment.

She said in a thick voice, “I’m so cold. Can you hug me?”

He turned and gazed at her while she raised her head, wearing an innocent and pitiful look. He sighed

in silence and held her in his arms. She hid her face on his chest, freezing as snow.

“What’s wrong with your face?”

“I had a fight with Gu Si,” Yu Wenhao said in a cool voice. She had been so cold to him and said those

hurtful things several days before, while she came here this evening and waited him for four hours. He

really couldn’t figure out what she wanted to do.

Yuan Qingling didn’t ask him why. She got out of his arms and said, “Let me help you with your wound.

It’s bleeding.”

He nodded and sat down, watching her take out the medicine chest. She got something on a piece of

cotton, and carefully cleaned the mud and sand off his wound.

“Does it hurt?” she asked.

He looked at her and said, “No.”

“Have you been drinking?”

“Just a little.”

She said nothing but applied the potion to his wound. She put things down, crossed her fingers through

his hair feeling for other wounds and continued applying.

Yu Wenhao didn’t ask but immersed himself in this unexpected intimacy.

The faint fragrance of her body struck his mind, and he had to hold back the impulsion of hugging her

with strong willpower.

After dealing with the wounds, Yuan Qingling put away the chest and sat opposite Yu Wenhao,

watching him nervously and punctiliously.

“Where’s Xu Yi?”

“I let him go,” Yu Wenhao said, staring at her lips.

“You may as well get him back. He’s careless but he’s loyal.”

“Alright.” He agreed, staring at her neck.

Yuan Qingling had nothing more to say. She hesitated and was a little bashful. But she finally said, “I’m

here to apologize.”

“For what?” he asked, staring at her boobs.

She twisted her fingers and mumbled constrainedly, “Those women...You didn’t sleep with them.”

“So?”
