Chapter 534
Chapter 534
Natasha was stunned, but she quickly understood what Alma meant. She hurriedly deleted the number
she was about to call.
"Mom..." She looked at Marvin lying in the living room, and the phone in her hands was still shaking.
"You silly child, why are you in such a hurry? Haven't you seen your father give Lucille 10% of his
shares last time? If you save him this time, he may increase the shares of her inheritance. We have
always been by his side, yet he is leaving everything to her?"
Alma looked at Marvin lying on the ground, not moving at all. She kicked him twice with her slippers.
"Mom, we are killing him right now!"
Natasha may be a bad person, but she dared not commit murder. Even though she understood what
Alma was doing, she was still concerned.
Alma sat back on the sofa. She put one leg on top of the other, took out her phone, and said proudly,
"We are not the one who killed him. It's Lucille!"
"What do you mean by that?"
"I have recorded our conversation with Lucille, and I will find someone to edit it. After that, we will find
the media and smear Lucille and Ralph's reputations. We will combine that with the recording..."
Alma did not go on, but everything was now under her control.
As she spoke, she glanced at the servants' room again.
Across the living room, there was only the kitchen and the servants' room. However, at such a late
hour, the servants must be asleep, so she did not take it to heart.
"Mom, you've recorded it? You are so awesome!"
"Lower your voice!"
Natasha was making a ruckus, so Alma shot her a glare.
After a while, she kicked Marvin's body and told Natasha, "Come, yell with me together."
"What?" Natasha was now confused.
"Now, your father has just fainted." After she finished speaking, Alma began to shout, "Hubby? Hubby!
What happened to you?"
Natasha understood as soon as she saw her. She shouted as well, "Dad! Dad!"
"What are you doing standing there? Go and call the servants! I'll go get the phone!" Alma shrieked.
"Okay!" Natasha ran to the door of the servant's room and shouted, "Wake up, wake up! My dad
passed out!"
When she was about to knock on the door, she saw that the room was not locked, and it was left ajar.
Natasha pushed the door open, and the two servants in her house were in there. One was young, and
the other was old.
"What happened?"
Both of them looked sleepy.
Natasha looked at them, and a terrible idea appeared in her mind, but soon, she thought that she might
have been overthinking. She said, "Dad passed out! Mom is on the phone right now. Put on your
clothes and come to the hospital with us later!"
"Okay, okay."
After the two servants heard that, they changed their clothes. Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
Only then did Natasha come out. Alma had finished calling the ambulance and hung up the phone.
"Mom, have you called them?"
"Yes. They'll arrive soon. They told us not to touch him, but we should press his philtrum." Alma said as
she squatted down and put her thumb lightly on Marvin's philtrum. She did not exert any strength at all.
Within ten minutes, an ambulance arrived. Alma pointed to the young servant and said, "Jessie, come
to the hospital with us. Emma, you stay at home."
"Alright."
"Understood."
The two servants agreed.
Soon, the paramedics arrived and carried Marvin away with a stretcher.
However, Marvin passed away from a heart attack while he was being sent to the hospital as it was
already too late.
Alma and Natasha did not tell Lucille about it at all. They even hurriedly cremated Marvin's body and
spent a hefty amount of money to get a lawyer to correct his will...
Lucille was busy painting, so she did not pay any attention to the affairs of the Jules family.
The Jules family was not a big enterprise, so Marvin's death was not reported, and the situation passed
just like that.
After two weeks...
Lucille was about to take Aurora to a painting class, but she realized that the door was swarming with
people. All of them were reporters!
"Miss Jules, we heard that you cut off all ties with your parents who raised you once you got capable. Is
that true?"
"Miss Jules, rumor has it that your father died after he learned that you became Master Zane's
mistress. Is it true?"
"Miss Jules, could you tell us what kind of relationship you have with the dean of the Three K Art
Academy, Ralph? Why would he accept you as his disciple?"
"Miss Jules, I heard that you have an abnormal relationship with two to three men at the same time,
including your ex-husband Franklin, and Zoel, the eldest son of the Parker family. Is that true?"
Lucille stood at the door, but cameras were pointed at her like guns. The reporters were bombarding
her with questions.
She was stunned.
The next second, she retreated into the yard. She wanted to close the door, but the reporters had
rushed over.
The Three K Art Academy had always been quiet. Nothing like this has ever happened, so there were
no security guards.
Lucille quickly pushed Aurora behind her and shouted, "Aurora, go back!"
She tried her best to close the door, but the reporters were all squeezing themselves in.
Seeing this, Aurora hurriedly ran away.
At this time, Hugo came over. He was in his seventies and had been following Ralph all this time. When
he went to the door, he saw reporters swarming in. He said slowly, "This is a private house. If you take
one step further, it is a crime of trespassing."
His voice was not loud, and he spoke slowly, but the reporters could hear him clearly.
Suddenly, no one dared squeeze in anymore. They retreated outside the door obediently.
When Lucille saw that, she quickly closed the door. However, even though the reporters were outside,
they still continued to stick their cameras through the small crack of the closed door and asked
questions.
One of the reporters that were closest to Lucille asked, "Miss Jules, your father passed away, but you
didn't attend the funeral. Don't you feel sad about that?"
"What?" Lucille's hand, which was closing the door, froze. She angrily accused, "What are you talking
about? My father is not dead!"
As soon as the reporter heard her response, he quickly said, "Sure enough, your mother said that after
you became an apprentice of Master Zane, you no longer kept in touch with your family. You don't even
know about the death of your father!"
"Don't talk nonsense! My father is still alive and well!"
Lucille couldn't accept the fact that Marvin had an affair and that Natasha was her biological sister after
she knew about it.
However, for the past few years, she thought it through and wanted to find a time to visit him back
home.
"How could something like this be fake?"
"That's right, how could he have a daughter like you? You don't even know about your father's death!"
"That's right! The Three K Art Academy's dean is not special at all. He doesn't even care about his
disciple's moral values!"
"Doesn't care about moral values? I think the dean of the Three K Art Academy's moral values is bad
as well. Otherwise, why would he take in a female disciple and let her stay in his place for no reason?"
The reporters outside were making a huge ruckus.
"How dare you! You can talk all you want about me, but you can't talk bad about Master Zane!" After
listening to the reporters' unbearable words, Lucille retorted!
"What's wrong? You are bold enough to do so, but you are not bold enough to let us talk about it?"
When the reporters saw that they had angered her, they knew that they successfully plotted against
her.
