Chapter 251 : Bitter Tears

Hearing Ivan, Rosy’s jaw dropped.

Arabella was in a panic.

Eric was stayed rooted on his spot.

will be a godmother soon.” Eric smiled charismatically.

Arabella looked at Eric with a questioning look.

Eric just winked at him secretly.

With that, she heaved a sigh but her nervousness never left her.

She just wished the dinner would be over as she didn’t like the presence of Rosy.

“Brother, I think Rosy is disappointed because Rosy likes you.” Arabella just wanted to be muted but

she could not help to say something.

She was also worried about what Rosy could do. Hopefully, she would not be a problem for them.

“Don’t worry mommy. Uncle didn’t love her. Uncle loves you only.” Ivan butted in with sparkled round

eyes.

“Sorry for that,” Eric muttered. “Rosy is my childhood friend and business partner. Nothing more.” Eric

explained.

The sincerity of his tone was present but Arabella could not ease her nervousness.

“I understand her. She acted like that because she has a feeling for your brother. I can see she loves

you very much.” Arabella blurted.

“Ivan, please give us a moment.” Eric heaved a sigh and winked at the little boy coolly.

Ivan quickly followed and kissed Arabella on the cheek before he left.

“Arabella, listen to me.” Eric’s sincere eyes were fixated on her. “I don’t want Rosy. She’s only my

friend. I can’t love anyone only you. Do you understand?” Eric held her hand.

“But if you don’t explain everything to her, that would lead your friendship to be ruined. Can you actually

afford to lose her in your life?” Arabella was worried about Eric. She never wanted to be the reason to

placed the container on the dining table. Her tone and expression were very friendly very opposite from

last night.

Arabella was dumbfounded. What happened to Rosy?

“Oh, come on! I specially cooked this for you. This is good for your baby.” Rosy grabbed Arabella’s

hand then she put her on her seat. Rosy then started to serve the pumpkin soup in Arabella’s bowl.

Arabella didn’t want to oppose but she felt something was wrong. She didn’t know Rosy well, what if

she put poison on the soup? But with a pure heart, Arabella didn’t want to offend Rosy.

What if she is really sincere with her actions?

What if she was just shocked last night that is why she acted that way?

What if she was already sobered and realized her mistakes?

Arabella’s mind was in a deep mess. She just wished her brother, Eric, would come home to deal with

Rosy.

“Okay…Okay…” Rosy poured her own bowl of soup then she sat opposite Arabella.

Then she started to slurp the soup on her soup spoon. Rosy seemed to know what Arabella was

thinking.

Seeing Rosy, Arabella started to scoop her soup and had it tasted.

It was true. Rosy’s soup was very delicious. It was actually the most delicious pumpkin soup she ever

tasted.

“I’m… I’m sorry last night, Arabella.” Rosy suddenly blurted.

Arabella looked at her. She could see her sincerity.

“Last night, I was shocked hearing everything. I also felt bad because I thought I am Eric’s best friend

but how come I am the last person to know?” Rosy’s voice became gloomy. Her eyes turned moist but

it was obvious that she was holding it back.

Arabella smiled at her sweetly. “I understand. Don’t worry about it.” She blurted out with a sweet tone.

Arabella pitied her as she could not tell her their real situation. She was a mother trying to protect her

baby. If Rosy would know, there would be a possibility that her baby would be taken away from her

again.

No… She could not afford to lose her baby again.

“I’m sorry, Rosy,” Arabella uttered absentmindedly.

“Why are you saying sorry to me when I was the one who offended you last night?” Rosy asked

confused.

Arabella regretted her words. They were just her thoughts but she spoke them aloud.

“Hmmm… I’m… I think I have to say that to you because I think because of me, you and Eric argued.”

With all her wits left, she quickly answered covering the real reason for her words.

Hearing her, Rosy smiled. “You know what? I like you.” She uttered along with her sparkling eyes. “Can

we be friends?” Rosy added offering her hand.

“Sure. Of course.” Arabella shook Rosy’s hand while her contentment was showing on her face.

Rosy is Eric’s best friend. That just meant she was a good woman and it was not bad to make her one

of her friends too.

Rosy spent time with Arabella the whole day.

They were getting to know each other well and they have the same interest in plants.

“You should visit my place and you will love my garden,” Rosy said proudly while fixing a plant on a pot

with her gloves.

“I want to. Maybe after I deliver my baby.” Arabella answered excitedly. They were in the garden the

whole afternoon planting some new plants. Eric’s garden bloomed with so many flowers because of

Ivan and Arabella.

When dinner came, they busied their selves in the kitchen preparing good food.

They also like to cook. The servants were just their audience as they ordered them to relax and watch

them.

Just after they finished cooking, Eric came.

He was surprised to see Rosy again in his house.

He knew her very well. When she is disappointed, she always runs away to a place where no one can

find her and be back okay but tonight, she’s in his house.

“Rosy?” Eric’s tone was surprised.

“Eric, surprise?” Rosy finished the table preparation. “I came here to make friends with Arabella.” She

smiled.

Eric looked at Arabella with also had a smile on her face. Then he finally understands.

“Shall we eat?” Arabella invited them both as she settled herself first on her seat.

They all eat happily except the genius boy who was just observing everything.

‘Don’t worry brother, Adam. I will protect our mom.’ He nodded along with his thoughts then he started

eating his meal.

The dinner ended well. They bonded for a while until Arabella felt drowsy. She excused herself from

Eric and Rosy.

Even though she was not feeling well, she still managed to check on Ivan. She read him a bedtime

story then she left after Ivan had slept. She was happy today because of Rosy. She smiled before she

slept.

Meanwhile, Rosy was on the balcony of her room.

She was smoking heavily. The smoke was thick dancing in the air. Then, she got her phone and dial a

number.

“I want the mobile number of Bill Sky. Check it on our company’s data bank. I need it right now.” Rosy

ordered then she deeply puffed her cigarette.
