Worship The Ground You Walk On

Chapter 7 I Told You to Get Out

Chapter 7 I Told You to Get Out

Claudia didn't think Kim would come.

Kim stood at the door and shook the snacks in her hand with a charming smile.

Nate stared at her and wondered if he should let her in.

“These are all healthy food, safe enough for Claudia and her baby," Kim explained.

Nate was a little flustered. He hurriedly closed the door and walked out.

Kim put the food on the table and then looked at Claudia with a big smile, “How is it? Happy now?”

Claudia's eyes were full of doubts.

“You don’t know what I’m talking about, right? Did I cover it too well?” Kim asked.

Claudia was even more confused, and asked what she was referring to in sign language.

Kim pulled a chair to sit down next to the bed and told her the details.

It turned out that Kim saw Amber humiliate Claudia at the back door of the hotel. So, she followed

Amber into the underground parking lot and knocked Amber out, put on her clothes, drove Amber’s car,

and forged the series of accidents that Claudia already knew.

Then, she abandoned the car two blocks away.

When Amber woke up, she found that she was sitting in the driving seat, and she didn't remember

anything.

That was why she panicked out over Winifred’s question.

Claudia was astonished at what Kim had done.

“What? I thought you want to find a chance to punish her." Kim said while peeling an orange.

Claudia frowned. She was, indeed, very upset when she heard that Amber and her mother wanted to

murder her after she gave birth to the baby, but she felt that Kim was being very impulsive.

"I didn't tell you because I wanted the accident to look real so that no one thinks I set Amber up." Kim

sneered, her fair face smug.

She continued, “This punishment will teach her a lesson. Besides, she didn’t lose anything... except for

Ben’s trust, but that’s all. It’s what she deserves for seducing your husband and hurting your baby!”

Speaking of the baby, Claudia paused.

She fondled her belly as she recalled the conversation between Amber and her mother, which made

her hair stand on end.

Kim comforted her. “You silly girl. I knew this could be very risky, and that was why I’ve been waiting for

the right moment. I only did it when I knew that Ben was nearby!”

She was a very reliable person that would never do uncertain things!

But Claudia was still frightened and stared at her, protesting.

Kim said to her, “Well, I did this for you.” NôvelD(ram)a.ôrg owns this content.

She wanted to blow Amber's arrogance, lest she would set up Claudia.

“The Crawford family should take this as a warning. They should pay more attention to your safety.

What if Amber kidnapped the baby?”

Claudia lowered her head and acquiesced. She didn't like framing others, but she had to do so for her

child.

Early the next morning, Winifred came for Blair in anger. Blair felt confused. She hurriedly greeted her

with a smile.

“Winifred, what brought you here? Is everything alright?”

Snap!

Winifred threw a stack of documents on the coffee table and said, "Look at what your daughter did!"

Blair picked them up in confusion, and was startled after reading the contents.

There were screenshots of the surveillance videos from the back door of the hotel last night. She could

see Amber's license plate number.

She was speechless for a moment.

“Blair, didn’t you know to parent your kid? Amber wanted to run over Claudia with a car! This is insane!"

Winifred lost her temper and shouted; the momentum was like an exploding bomb.

“There must be some misunderstanding!"

Blair fumbled and defended her daughter.

Winifred told her secretary, "Go to the garage and bring me the dash cam. Blair, our evidence is

irrefutable!"

“…”

Blair wanted to stop him, but the secretary was too strong and swift. He easily avoided her. He went

straight to the garage.

“This must be a misunderstanding, and someone must have planted this!"

Blair was arguing, and she was completely dumbfounded until the secretary brought the driving

recorder and confirmed that Amber did have hit Claudia with a car!

“Well... Amber is still young. and she must have lost her head for that moment!"

As they argued, Amber walked downstairs.

Blair said hurriedly, "Amber, come over and apologize to Mrs. Crawford!"

Amber walked over as she said, but she was interrupted by Winifred before she spoke.

“You should go to the hospital to apologize to Claudia. I remind you, Amber, …"

Winifred paused deliberately, stared at them fiercely. She sounded ruthless and decisive. "Claudia is

pregnant with Crawford's baby. If there is anything wrong with the baby, I will make you suffer!"

Hearing it, Blair was trembling with a guilty conscience!

After seeing off Winifred, she scolded Amber, “How could you be so impulsive? I said that we would get

rid of Claudia after she gave birth! See? See what’s happening now? You got us in trouble now!"

"Mom, I didn't do it!"

Amber defended, clenching her fists tightly. She thought it must be a bitter trick that Claudia

deliberately used to set her up.

She couldn’t await her doom.

She drove to the Crawford Group. The secretary at the front desk knew her, so she didn't stop her.

She entered the president's room unimpeded all the way. Ben sat behind his desk in peace, cross-

legged, with a cigarette in his hand. The faint smoke blurred his secretive expression.

He seemed to be comfortable and idle, but in fact, he was giving out a strong elite temperament which

made everything seem under control.

Amber looked at him, delighted.

She trotted to him on her high heels and said, "Ben, I am innocent! You have to trust me!"

Ben had been drowning in thoughts. He frowned slightly and looked at Amber, “Innocent?”

He repeated the word playfully in a low voice.

“Yeah, Ben, you will never trust what the mute said, right? You have to believe me! I'm innocent!"

Amber said gently in a coquettish tone.

Her soft hand pulled Ben's arm, and she begged, “Trust me! Claudia is lying... that mute is not

trustworthy!"

He didn't say a word. Amber shuddered because of the indifference on his face!

Amber was a little frightened. She bit her lower lip nervously, and said, “Ben...”

But before she finished speaking, Ben squinted at her and growled at her, “Get the hell out of my sight!”

“What? Ben, you... What did you say?” Amber thought she had heard it wrong. She couldn't believe he

would say that to him.

“I told you to get out!” He yelled mercilessly.
