Julie Tan had just entered Ilo's Coffee House to meet and catch up with her 'friends' when her line

of sight caught up to a group of people on one table. She was about to approach and greet them as

they were her upper class seniors during her college, more exactly as she was still a freshman when

their batch was graduating. If not to the point that they were all successful in their selected fields and

were quite famous and powerful in City I, she wouldn't have felt obliged to greet them.

Julie must admit that she, after almost five years, still holds grudges to them, much especially to

the quite popular Veronica Wang. But thinking of what happened to her and her family five years ago

made Julie feel better.

Veronica Wang. Julie could still remember the "know-it-all" senior who humiliated her once during

their descipline's initiation rites. And she believed that she would hold unto her grudge for that woman

unless if she someday, would also be able to humiliate her in front of the elites, this time.

Julie was almost near the senior group when a red haired woman caught her sight. She suddenly

Julie couldn't understand but her blood instantly boiled after seeing Veronica Wang after many

years. She was even more beautiful and hadn't seemed to age after all those years. And her colour red

hair enhanced her unique features making her even more strikingly beautiful!

And that's one of the many things she hated about the woman.Her unique yet very beautiful face.

Julie Tan's breath hitched after Veronica looked at her direction and their eyes met. Julie can't help

it and her hate for Veronica Wang rose up to another degree for no reason at all!

She knew that the initiation rite incident was not a rational reason for her to be this loathsome of

Veronica but she couldn't help it. And probably what she witnessed five years ago was the major

reason.

Seeing as Veronica seemed to have pointed her to her friends, they all looked at her. Julie Tan was

left with no choice but to approach them and introduced herself.

Even behind the fact that her family, much like her father, is another figure with enough power, but

her seniors' families and them individually, were also powerful figures with enough influence in City I.

'They could have been my friends, no!..I should be on Veronica Wang's place instead being

acquainted with these powerful figures.' Julie Tan thought bitterly.

As she was almost near their table, Julie Tan clothed her face with the kindest one she could

make.

"Good afternoon Seniors! It was very pleasant having to cross your path in this coffee house!" Julie

smiled sweetly.

"Oh, Julie! How are you doing?" Pearl kindly replied although she herself was not really closed,

neither the rest of them, to the young woman. All they knew was the fact that she's a freshman during

their graduating year and an unica hija of City I's Mayor.

"Hello Seniors, I am doing good! I am fortunate to see you here. I have heard about you, senior

Floyd, and senior Gedmaire's law firm success. You are even known as the triple heroes of justice!

Also senior Yvette! My dad always mentioned to me that she is well loved by her constituents in City M.

And what's more, senior Rose who brought the Co Yap Company into new heights! All of you are

definitely my inspiration!"

Those that were mentioned couldn't help but to smile gently towards this respectful junior. They

could hear the excitement in her voice.

"We're glad that you consider us as your inspiration. Keep up and we believe that you'll achieve

more than we did." It was Floyd who replied in a good manner. "Would you like to join us for a cup of

coffee?"

"I appreciate your invitation senior but," Julie paused and stared at Veronica, obviously curious

about her.

"Oh I'm sorry we didn't expect you would not recognize her. Julie, this is your senior Veronica. You

might not be able to recognize her right away due to her red hair."

"Oh I see! That's why! Hello senior Veronica! It's good to see you after all those years. I am sorry

to hear about what happened to your family-"

"There's nothing for you to be sorry about, honey. Anyway, Julie Tan? Are you perhaps related to

the city's mayor?"

"Ah… yes senior! Mayor Tan is my dad. And you possibly forgot about it but I'm actually one of

your juniors during college."

"Oh! I see. I remembered now. Good to see you here." "..."

The short pleasantries ended and Julie walked away seething with anger as the woman, Veronica

Wang humiliated her once again by not remembering her sooner as a freshman during college. How

dare she! She's not only the daughter of the City I Mayor but also, after five

years, she's a graduate of Political Science herself and is now almost finishing her master degree.

She, Julie Tan, was not just a politician's daughter but a very highly accomplished, independent

and professional woman as well. Julie decided to relax herself and smiled thinking about the man that

will visit their home later tonight for dinner as per invitation of her father, the City I's current Mayor, and

of course, as per her request.

Veronica Wang?! Who the hell is she?! She's now a nobody trying to sucked up on her very

influential and powerful friends. How about her? Julie Tan?! A master in Political Science and the future

wife of Rawlf Sy, the most powerful figure in Country P.

To marry him is also to be like a first lady of Country P!

Being a socialite herself, Julie Tan is very much aware of the fact that it is Rawlf Sy who controlled

the politics and economy of the whole Country P.

And Julie Tan couldn't hide her intense excitement just thinking of being the future Mrs. Sy.
