Karen had to admit that she was touched by his words. Ever since she met him, he had treated her well. He indulged in her whims to nod. Whenever she needed help, she just had to tell him. No matter how hard it was, he would do whatever it took to help her.
If she hadn’t developed feelings for Logan first–and if Logan hadn’t been the heir of a wealthy family–she would surely have been won over by Patrick’s attitude toward her.

Moore Corporation was the largest conglomerate in Glendale, and the Moccs were the richest family in town. Patrick had to admit that Home Corporation couldn’t hold a candle to Moore Corporation in anyway, but Hut didn’t stop him from feeling utterly infurveed.
Had it been Hathe Corporation who snatched these projects away, Patrick would’ve just cursed Benjamin out without pursuing things any ether. After all, the contracts hadn’t been signed yet, so it wasn’t surprising that the devs fell through.
