Uncle's Love: My Sweet Little Wife

Chapter 160 Taking Advantage of James

Chapter 160 Taking Advantage of James

Her bite on his shoulder was not very painful. However, she looked pretty interesting when she was

angry.

"You still need two weeks to get used to eating?"

"Huh?"

Kara froze, and before she knew it, he carried her downstairs.

She sat down at the table and Libby quickly served a bowl of noodles with some carrots and eggs.

Kara had no appetite. However, when she smelled it, she swallowed. She stopped looking at him,

picked up the fork, and started to eat the noodles.

She drank all the noodle soup and burped. James held back his laughter, rubbed her little head, and

took her for a walk.

"I want to go back to painting."

Kara puffed out her cheeks in anger. She didn't want to stay with him, but her wrist was held by him, so

she couldn't escape.

The wind of the summer night mixed with the faint scent of flowers felt quite comfortable on the face.

Kara followed him, kept quiet, and walked along the road.

In the past, they had passed here when they ran together.

But at that time, she was too tired to see the scenery.

There was a big pond with many lotus flowers blooming and swaying with the wind, which was so

refreshing.

"James, Madam Hemming wants a great-grandchild. You know my health. I ..."

"Kara, I'll take care of this. You don't have to worry," James reassured her in a low voice.

"How are you going to deal with it?" Kara wanted to talk to him about this.

"You don't believe me again?"

James didn't want to put pressure on her, so he strode over to her and held her in his arms.

"I know what you are worried about. When you're older, we'll have a baby. Good girl, don't overthink it."

Kara leaned into his arms, smelling the mint scent from him. Hearing his steady heartbeat, she felt a

little attached to him.

"James, maybe we're not right for each other?"

"Kara, it can't be. You're the one for me. Don't try to leave me, okay?"

He ordered in a low voice in her ear. His tone was gentle, but its content was so domineering that she

couldn't say no.

...

The next day, James had to go on a business trip, but Kara only learned the news while eating

breakfast.

Originally, she wanted to give him the cold shoulder, but as soon as she heard that he was leaving, she

didn't want to do that anymore.

Nolan had arrived. He was about to go upstairs to pack James' things but was stopped by a cold look

from James. His forehead was in a cold sweat.

"Mr. James, you have to bring a few clothes for your business trip."

James nodded, wearing a straight face. He turned to look at Kara.

When Kara sensed his gaze, she was confused.

Nolan, of course, knew what Mr. James wanted. He sighed quietly. Mr. James wanted a display of

affection, and he had to watch it despite his reluctance.

"Mrs. Hemming, since you're engaged to Mr. James, you should pack things for Mr. James."

Kara nodded. It should be her responsibility, but she didn't know what to pack.

"James, what do you need to bring?"

James was very satisfied with her attentiveness. He took her upstairs to his bedroom, brought a small

suitcase, and asked her to help him pack up his daily necessities. Then he went to the study to pack

some documents.

Kara watched him leave and when she opened her mouth to speak, the door was closed.

Pursing her lips, she opened the closet and smelled a faint scent of mint.

She scratched her head in frustration and then took two sets of clothes and toiletries for daily use.

James opened the door to his room after taking a document. He leaned lazily against the door and

watched Kara walk around the room. His thin lips curled slightly.

He was in a good mood.

After working for a while, Kara filled his suitcase with a sense of accomplishment.

"James, take a look and see if you need anything else."

James walked to the suitcase. When he looked at the mess in it, the smile on his face vanished.

"Kara, come here."

Kara had been with him for so long that she knew he was an obsessive. He liked everything to be neat.

Seeing such a messy suitcase, he would be mad.

She lowered her head and walked to him nervously. He poured the things in the suitcase onto the

couch and asked her in a cold voice,

"Can you fold clothes?" NôvelDrama.Org (C) content.

Kara shook her head blankly. She felt a little embarrassed and blushed.

"Then you can learn!"

James took a deep breath, took out two shirts, and then handed her one of them, teaching her step by

step.

Kara was surprised. She didn't expect that he could not only manage such a large multinational

company but even know how to do such a small thing as folding clothes. She admired him more and

more.

"Why are you staring at me? The shirt must be flat and not wrinkled."

James knocked her on the head to keep her focused on it.

He had the white shirt in his hand, and she had a black one. Her five fingers were soft and tender,

slender and white. James tightened his grip on the shirt and felt thirsty.

Kara carefully followed his steps and folded a shirt. But when the two shirts were put together, her

clumsiness was immediately revealed.

Reluctantly, she shook the shirt out and refolded it.

Nolan came upstairs and stood outside the door, tapping his watch and giving James the hint.

Time was running out. They would miss their flight if they didn't leave now!

James cast him a cold look to shut him up.

Nolan rubbed his brows helplessly. James was capricious when he was in love.

Kara folded the shirt twice and still didn't get it right. She pinched the shirt and stomped her foot in

anger.

"I'm so stupid!"

She couldn't even fold a shirt well. If this was known by others, she would be laughed at!

"Kara, do you want to know a quick way to fold the clothes?" James looked calm as he watched her lift

her foot in anger.

Kara turned to look at him, her amber eyes filled with longing.

She would never question his words. He said he could teach her, then he must have a way.

But from the look on his face, he certainly wouldn't offer to teach her if she didn't give him some benefit.

"What is it?"

"Well." James looked at her arrogantly. "Kara, this is my intellectual property. How can I give it to you so

easily?"

She knew it!

She bit her lips, her amber eyes rolled, and her delicate face had a mischievous, cunning look.

Suddenly, she jumped in front of him and kissed him on the cheek.

"I'll kiss you. Will you give me your intellectual property?"

James was speechless.

He was stunned. The soft touch just now was somewhat unreal to him. It was like a flash of electricity

that hit him.

He touched the place where he had just been kissed by her with his thin lips pursed and his eyes deep.

"Kara, you've taken advantage of me and you still want my intellectual property?"

The corners of Kara's mouth twitched.

Her long eyelashes trembled, and her bright amber eyes stared blankly at him.

He had loved to kiss her, hadn't he?

Now he said she had taken advantage of him. She wrinkled her delicate nose aggrievedly, pouted, and

stared pitifully at James.

James' heart almost melted as he watched her pouting. He stretched out his long arms, took her into

his arms, lifted her chin, and lowered his head to kiss her.

There was a big height gap between them. If he was patient, he would lower his head and bend down

slightly to kiss her.

But if he was in a hurry, he would directly pick her up. She had to stand on her tiptoes and cling to him

so she wouldn't fall.

His kiss was strong and dominant, just like his personality. His muscular arms tightened around her as

if he wanted to rub her into his bones and make her his alone!

Nolan, who went upstairs once again to urge James, saw him packing up his things while Kara was

lying under the covers on the bed, looking at her phone.

Nolan blinked, guessing that James might have done it in the fifteen minutes when he'd been gone.

Thinking of this, he looked at James sympathetically.
