Uncle's Love: My Sweet Little Wife

Chapter 117 Mr. James Could Not Wait

Chapter 117 Mr. James Could Not Wait

Linda finally got a grandson. How could she let Rose abort it?

"Sophia, if you can't tolerate Rose, then divorce my son," she said, pointing at Sophia with a gloomy

face.

When Rose heard what she wanted, she was proud and provoked Sophia secretly.

When Sophia heard Linda's words, she felt despair.

For all these years since she married Adam, because she did not give birth to a son, Linda had scolded

her terribly. In the past, she endured it because Adam reconciled them.

But now, Adam was only staring at Rose's belly and had no intention of speaking up for her at all.

This was her husband and mother-in-law. How ridiculous!

"Grandma, how can you say that? Dad, Grandma wants you to divorce Mom. Say something!"

Kathleen was also furious.

In Kathleen's eyes, although her parents would quarrel sometimes, their relationship was still good.

"Mom, Sophia was too impulsive just now. If we divorce," Adam was troubled.

Rose bit her lips, stared at Adam, and let out another heart-wrenching cry.

"It's all my fault. I shouldn't have had this child. But Adam, do you want my child to be called an

illegitimate child when he is born?"

"No, I don't want my child to be like this. Maybe I'd better end this tragedy before I make a mistake."

Adam finally had a son. How could he let him become an illegitimate child?

His thoughts changed. When he looked at Sophia, his eyes became cold.

"Sophia, my mother is right. If you can't tolerate Rose, then divorce!"

Sophia wanted to cry, but she found that her tears could not flow out.

She touched her chest and crouched down in pain.

"Mom, mom, are you okay?" Kathleen cried and helped her up.

"Dad, how can you bear to divorce Mom now? If you dare to divorce Mom, I will go with Mom and

never care about you."

"Kathleen, don't you want a brother? I'm almost at my last gasp. I can't see the Quains without a

descendant!" Linda sighed.

Kathleen was her eldest granddaughter, who was raised by her, and she truly loved her.

"I don't like any brother. Grandma, how can you be so cruel to ask my father and mother to divorce for

a bitch? You have gone too far!"

Kathleen never thought too much when she spoke in front of them. At the moment, she said directly.

Linda was unhappy to be taught such a lesson by her granddaughter and asked her to quickly take

Sophia out of the ward.

"Grandma, Dad, you will regret it!"

Kathleen was angry and helped Sophia out of the ward.

Seeing the two of them leave, Rose was satisfied.

As long as Adam and Sophia divorced, she would be the young mistress of the Quains and her son

would inherit everything of the Quains!

However, Rose had no idea that Adam had been chased out of the Quain Group, and the Quains now

were different from before!

Kara didn't know that the Quains were in a mess.

After making a scene with Kathleen, she had an idea of moving out of the villa.

She sat in the living room of the villa, looking at the sky outside the window. The dark clouds were

dense.

She wondered when Uncle James would be back.

"Miss Kara, I heard that there will be a thunderstorm tonight. Remember to close the window." Libby

reminded.

Kara's back stiffened, and she nodded. She was very terrified.

Since her father passed away, summer was the season she hated the most every year, because the

thunder of summer was the most terrible.

She returned to her room early, closed the window, closed her eyes, and hid under the quilt.

However, the more she thought about the thunder, the more worried she became.

Before the thunder sounded, she began to worry.

"If the thunder is about to come, then come now!" She shouted angrily at the window. Nôvel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.

Rain pattered on the window.

There was a loud bang, followed by a woman's scream in the villa.

"I didn't mean to shout at you."

Kara covered her ears and curled up in the quilt, trembling.

The phone rang. She curled up in the quilt and didn't dare to pick it up.

However, the other party was persistent. When it rang for the ninth time, she bit her lips and climbed

out of bed to get her phone.

When she saw that all the calls were from James, her eyes immediately turned red. Tears fell on the

phone.

She wiped her tears and picked up the phone.

"Uncle James."

That soft call instantly softened the man's cold and hard heart.

"Kara, don't be afraid. I will be home soon. You hide in the quilt and pinch the necklace I gave you."

James said in a low and steady voice.

Kara obediently took out the necklace that James had given her and pinched the ring on the necklace.

It seemed that there was a familiar fragrance on the ring. She closed her eyes and really calmed down

a lot.

"Uncle James, have you returned?" She sobbed and asked.

"Well, the rain is too heavy and it is a little difficult to drive. If you are afraid, you can tell me."

When James heard her speak with a strong nasal voice, he knew that she was crying again. He felt

concerned.

Listening to the continuous thunder outside the window, he also hated the rainy summer.

"Uncle James, holding the ring, I'm not that afraid anymore." Kara comforted herself.

James also pinched the ring on his pinky. He closed his eyes and thought about her pitiful crying

appearance. His anger had long dissipated.

He was so concerned about her.

Now all he wanted was to fly to her side, kiss her and stop her crying.

"Good girl, take a deep breath and pay all your attention to your own breathing..." James tried to use

hypnosis to make her relax.

Suddenly there was a flash of lightning outside the window.

A deafening thunder followed.

The little girl on the phone was so scared that she threw her cell phone. He only heard her unsteady

breathing and James clenched his pinky.

"Mason, drive as quickly as possible!"

"Mr. James, it's not safe to speed up now!" Mason looked at the blurry rain in front of him and was a

little flustered.

"I'll drive!"

James could not wait and let Mason stop the car. Then he climbed to the driver's seat.

"Mr. James, be careful!"

Mason, who was sitting in the front passenger seat, saw Mr. James step on the accelerator to the end.

The speed was the largest, and his heart was beating wildly. He gulped in fear.

It was a rainy day and there was basically no one on the road. He could not even see the traffic lights

clearly, but he could quickly avoid the obstacles around him and return to the villa unimpeded.

It took an hour and a half to go from the airport to the villa, and James only used twenty-six minutes.

In a flash, Mason arrived at the villa's parking lot. In the blink of an eye, he had already disappeared.

He had been by Mr. James's side for so many years.

Mr. James had always been mature and calm. He had never been so anxious.

Only Miss Kara, who lived in the villa, made Master Han so nervous.

After James got out of the car, he ran upstairs and ran to Kara's bedroom with his long strides.

When he opened the door, he ran to the side of the bed and held the little girl in his arms, gently

comforting her.

"Don't be afraid, Kara. I'm here with you."

When Kara heard his low voice, she crawled out of the blanket in surprise. Her amber eyes were

watery as she stared at him.

"Uncle James, why are you back so soon?"

Didn't he just say that he was at the airport?
