Chapter 2 She Felt Distressed for Him

Elizabeth became angry from embarrassment, “Bastard!"

At the moment the man turned his head, the sound of slap was sounded in the room loudly.

Elizabeth raised her hand to slap on the man's face while she was scolding, but it made the man

fainted on the bed.

"Give me the phone!" said the man coldly.

Elizabeth picked up the phone from the bed and handed it to him.

After snatching the phone from her hand, the man quickly dialed a number, pressed the phone to his

ear and said, "Karl, it's me!"

"What's your room number?" The man said with cold tone and looked at Elizabeth.

Elizabeth answered, “1808!"

The man then told Karl her room number.

He said few words before he hung up the phone, and then threw the phone back to her.

Elizabeth caught the phone and left the room after making sure he would not hurt her.

She went to the kitchen, took a bowl of soup from the refrigerator, and heated it on the gas stove.

Then she poured the soup into the bowl, took a spoon into the bowl, picked it up and returned to the

room.

A faint smell of meat came from the kitchen, the man sitting on the bed could not help but swallow

saliva.

Elizabeth handed the bowl to the man, “Drink it, it can enrich your blood."

The man took the bowl and drank a mouthful of it without using the spoon.

He was hungry.

As he had expected, the soup and the meat in it were delicious.

This woman was a good cook!

"What soup is this?" The man asked coldly as he ate freely.

Elizabeth replied lightly, “Pig liver soup with red jujube and medlar, which was for nourishing blood. It is

suitable for you."
