Farrel trailed behind the doctor with an inexpressible feeling. His mind was still struggling with Retha's

behavior earlier, why did that girl when she woke up turned into another person? Farrel meant that the

previous Retha was very awkward, different from the previous Retha, who did not hesitate to look into

her eyes, who looked at her not like a stranger.

"Please sit down, sir," the doctor pointed to the chair in front of his desk.

Farrel nodded, then sat down. "So, what's up?"

"Well, before I wanted to ask you, has your wife ever had a similar accident before?"

"Yeah, we've both been in a plane crash. And if I'm not mistaken, he's got dissociative amnesia, just

like me."

"Like that," the doctor nodded his head, "I have two news for you. One good news, and one bad news.

Which one do you want to hear first?"

"Whatever."

"All right, I'll tell you the good news first. So, your wife's dissociative amnesia is cured." The doctor

looked at Farrell, "the bad news is, she's now suffering from Retrograde Amnesia."

"Is it a serious illness?"

"All diseases are serious, sir."

"What's the impact?"

"Your wife can't remember what happened after your plane crash."

"Good," said Farrel, making the doctor frown.

"What is good?" C0pyright © 2024 Nôv)(elDrama.Org.

"That way, he won't remember the painful events he went through without me. His memory will only be

me, meaning he won't remember that he lived here, right?" asked Farrell with a smile on his lips.

"Yes, all the memories he got after the accident will be lost. But, why are you happy?"

"Just be happy. Aren't you happy if your wife has only you in mind?"

The doctor cleared his throat. "Earlier your wife also asked whether the baby was safe or not. That

means, when the accident happened, your wife was pregnant."

"Yes, and now our child is born. He's handsome, like me," Farrel chuckled.

"That's the problem, sir."

Farrel raised an eyebrow. "What?"

"Most likely, your wife will not remember the whereabouts of your child. Because your child was born

after the accident."

"Jeez, then, how? When can my wife remember it?"

"There are two types of retrograde amnesia. First, your memory will be erased permanently. And

secondly, your memory will only be erased temporarily, although the memories that will be remembered

will not be all of it. Maybe, only the important things."

"How do we know if my wife has permanent or temporary amnesia?" asked Farrell.

"From the results of the provisional examination, it looks like your wife has a second type of retrograde

amnesia, temporarily. However, we will try to check it one more time."

"If it turns out he has permanent amnesia?"

"She will never remember your child," replied the Doctor, looking seriously into Farrell's eyes.

"Vale, is my baby safe?" asked Retha, who knows how many times.

"Re, I don't understand. Are you pregnant?" Valerie frowned.

"Jeez, Valerie. Since when did you become so senile? Just a few days ago I told you that I was

pregnant, can't you forget?"

"Re, that was five years ago. Your son was born, and he's sleeping in the next room, his name is Dave.

You don't remember?"

"Valerie, this is really not funny. What do you mean that my child has been born? Even at three months

old, you must be kidding," Retha chuckled softly.

"Re, do you feel there is life there?" Valerie pointed at Retha's flat stomach, "do you feel it?"

Retha looked down at her stomach. Then, he turned his gaze to Valerie and shook her head.

"It's because your child has been born, Re," said Valerie grimly, "oh my god, don't tell me you have

retrograde amnesia? I can't imagine it."

"You can imagine it, Vale," Farrell's deep voice made Valerie and Retha turn simultaneously at him.

"You mean? He really has the disease?"

Farrel nodded, "Yes, and just pray that it's not permanent."

"Jeez!" Valerie growled, "This is all Charles's doing! You see, that man will get his reward."

"I'm going to make him regret that I dared make my wife like this," said Farrel in a cold voice.

"Hey, who are you talking about?" Retha said as she looked suspiciously at Farrel and Valerie.

Farrel smiled faintly, then walked to pay attention to Retha. He gently stroked the top of the girl's head,

then kissed her forehead for a long time. After that, Farrel moved his hand, gently stroked Retha's

smooth cheek.

"Do you remember me?"

Retha's eyebrows rose one, "Of course. How can I forget my husband?"

"Then, how can you forget your child?"

"Child?"

"You are a mother, and you are no longer twenty years old. You're already two p ten five, dear, "Farrel

said quietly as he looked into Retha's eyes. As the doctor said, he had to tell everything, slowly.

"I don't understand, how come?" asked Retha, confused.

"You and me, we are going on vacation to London. We both had a plane crash, and we were separated

for five years," Farrel sighed, "we both have amnesia, and forget each other. We live separately. ,

without remembering that we belong to each other. "

"Then, why can we meet again?"

"It's a long story, honey. Anyway, you had an accident again, and it's good that your old memory has

returned. The bad thing is, your memory after the plane crash was erased. It made you forget our son,

Dave?"

"Dave?" Retha's eyes were rounded, "is she real?"

"You mean?"

"In my dream, there is a boy named Dave, and he calls me Mother."

Farrell smiled faintly, "I don't think it was a dream, but a part of your memory."

"Now, where's Dave?" Retha asked, "I want to meet him!"

"He's in the next room, Re. Sam is looking after him, you want me to bring him here?" offered Valerie,

which was immediately answered by a nod by Retha.

"Alright, wait a moment," Valerie walked out of Retha's room, leaving Farrel and Retha alone.

Five minutes later, Valerie returned carrying Bara, and Samudra pushed Dave in a wheelchair. Retha's

eyes widened when she saw Dave, exactly the same as the figure of a child in her dream. Without

realizing it, Retha's tears dripped. With Farrel's help, Retha got out of her bed and immediately gave

Dave a hug.

"Mother ..." Dave whispered in Retha's warm embrace, "don't sleep anymore, I don't like it when you

sleep too long. I miss you scolding me, I miss you ..."

Retha was speechless because she didn't remember anything about her and Dave. He could only nod

his head, at least to make the boy happy.

"Gosh, Vale. From now on we don't have to take a vacation by plane anymore," said Samudra.

Valerie furrowed her brows, "Why?"

"I don't want us to be like them, you see that. Husband and wife lose their memories at the same time, I

don't want to experience events like them," Samudra shuddered in horror.

"Sam," said Valerie in a warning tone.

"Hey, Farrel," called Ocean which made Farrel lift his head.

"What is wrong?"

"You know? Someone yesterday told me that he wanted so badly to stick your head against the wall, so

that your memory will soon recover," Ocean chuckled.

"There's no need to tell anyone else, Sam. I know that was your idea," Farrell replied, causing Ocean's

laughter to burst.

"So, how? You've found your wife and children, when are we going back to Indonesia?"

"I think we'll be back in two weeks, at least when Re and Dave are fully recovered," replied Farrel,

nodded in agreement by Samudra.
