"Who?" Liam asked the obvious.

"Amber," Renee said curiously. "If we're going to get killed here today, is she the one you want to meet the most?" "I.." Liam closed his eyes and dwelled on it.

The one who appeared in his mind was Amber in her traditional clothing. Her smile was light. She was such a bright and simple woman, like medicine that could help relax one's nerves. Liam would feel better and relaxed when she smiled at him.

He had no idea if Amber was the one he wanted to meet the most before he died, but he knew that the thing he would miss the most was her smile.

"See. She won you over. It isn't embarrassing. Just admit to it." Renee went straight to the point and teased, "You always refuse to speak your mind. If you recognized your feelings for her sooner, you guys might have already started a family."

"Oh, please stop teasing me at a time like this." Liam would only behave himself in front of Renee. He bowed his head and said guiltily, "If I knew, I wouldn't have told Lei about my upcoming marriage. Now I got you guys into this mess, Damn it!"novelbin
