“Shit! What baby? Sleepover mama, oh honey mama is going out maybe tomorrow, no mama, sleepover with my friends, shit I totally forgot was it today?” I thought there was school tomorrow I whispered, getting confused, no mama, no school.

Everyone settle down, no noise, after talking to the children’s parent, they left immediately, also wanting to spend time alone without their children bothering them, sometimes parents need to rest as well so am happy to help, they kept making noise, running around and breaking things, have tried to stop them but I can’t handle five kids on my own, yes five because Tobias is also playing like the kids not even trying to help me stop them from destroying, he kept putting them on his neck and running, sometimes he will hide and ask them to search for him which resulted in them breaking stuff that was one of the things Lucas hated, breaking of his expensive items, enough! He shouted glaring at every child in the room, they all ran behind Tobias getting scared, Arya, Tobias, come to my room now! We stood up immediately, closing the door.

“You know how much I hate children, why would you bring them here without informing me.” I forgot, I wasn’t thinking about that, and I had a lot of things going on, your sister was here and well a lot of stuff, “so I-I am sorry for not telling you,” he sigh, “they are so lousy,” I nod, and noisy, I nod again not speaking, “you need to make them shut up, I need to work.”

I’ll do that once you let me go, why did you call me here when you just want to talk to Arya, I called you here because you made more noise than those kids there so I want you to stay with me here, what! You can’t do that, either you stay here or you go back to your house Tobias, “fine! I’ll stay with you, I know you miss me so much,” Lucas stared at him already knowing how annoying Tobias is. I tried to leave but not before Lucas said “Arya we are going on that date tomorrow, meet me at the new restaurant by 7 sharp, don’t be late” he warned me going back to what he was doing not even allowing me to argue with him.

I went down and they were quiet, so who wants to watch Disney? Me they all raised their hand, so, what should we watch FROZEN they all yelled giggling, alright, I’ll get the popcorn, we watched a lot of cartoons, then repeated frozen again until they fell asleep, didn’t even notice when Tobias got here not until i heard him sniffle when Elsa saved her kingdom. Am not crying, something got into my eyes, right, just help me take them in, the next day each parent came to take their children home, they didn’t want to leave but they had no choice, I did promise another sleepover which they agreed upon but I will make sure to inform Lucas about it, finally, I can sleep.

I checked the time again, why is he late? Ugh I shouldn’t have come, I knew this was a waste of time, someone like that can never ask someone like me out on a date, as I turned to leave, hurriedly walking to get a cab home, a deep voice that belonged to Lucas stopped me, “Arya?” you came! He was surprise seeing me here while I was annoyed that he kept me waiting, I spun around and glared at him “I waited for a while you know, I thought maybe you actually liked me but how could you, am not worth it anyway” i was busy with work, he shrugged his shoulders like it was nothing. Wow, that’s all he has to say, “umm am going home, I shouldn’t have come,” I exclaimed. He grabbed my arm and pulled me close to him “I’m so sorry Arya, I was so busy and when I noticed it was too late but I still came hoping you’ll be here” he whispered into my ear, I yanked my arm free and pushed past him to get back inside.

Once we got to our table I waited for him to pull my seat like the Tobias does when we go out but Lucas was already seated, he didn’t even pull my seat for me to sit, I rolled my eyes, we ordered our food and ate quietly, this is so annoying, is this a silent dinner or something, he cleared his throat noticing the awkward atmosphere, so, I wanted to get you out of the house since all you do is work, take Isa to school which I appreciate so much, I thought about it, my father likes you, even my sister does which surprised me, she called me just to check and you since you weren’t with your phone, you even annoy my mother and am happy about it, at least I won’t be seeing her in my home, you are a great mother to Isa and I know how much you love her, so I want you to sign this papers, what is it?
