She shook her head and refused, “I’ll go myself.”
As soon as she finished speaking, Anthony got into the car, unfastened Yvette’s seat belt, and pulled
her out.
The woman pretending to be her took out her phone from her pocket, got in the car, and left.
Things happened so fast that when Yvette came back to her senses, she only saw the car speeding
away.
She looked at Anthony angrily and asked, “What are you doing?”
“Ms. Yates, Mr. Christopher Forte ordered us to execute the swap. You’re going into a tiger’s den. Only
Mr. Christopher Forte’s people will have a chance of winning.”
Anthony’s words were true, and she could not refute them. She got into Anthony’s car and went back to

The fake Yvette looked at the chemical plant not far away and said, “If you don’t release my sister, I’ll
go back the way I came”

“You’ve set me up. Do you think I’ll believe in your nonsense? If you don’t let go of her, I’ll leave now.”
After saying that, the fake Yvette got in the sports car and turned it around, looking as if she was about
to leave.
It was then she saw two men standing at each end of the bridge with chains in their hands.
A lengthy strip of car stoppers, embedded with nails, was laid out on the road.
The male robotic voice said, “You can’t leave now. Come to the chemical plant.”
The fake Yvette did not agree or refuse.
She set a condition. “Let me see my sister first.”
The man didn’t answer her. “I’ll give you five minutes. If you don’t come, I’ll show you your sister’s
body.”
After saying that, he hung up.
Right then, Christopher sent a message to the fake Yvette. “Don’t go. Just catch the two people in front
of you.”
He had been eavesdropping on the fake Yvette’s phone conversations and keeping tabs on the car
recorder to stay informed about the situation.
It was clear that Fiona would not be spared. If the fake Yvette went to the chemical plant, she would not
be able to return. At Christopher’s order, the fake Yvette opened the door and got out.
The two men at the end of the bridge thought she would go to the chemical plant, only to see her
walking toward them.
