She clutched Christopher’s bathrobe tightly and lost herself in his tender, affectionate kiss.

They hugged each other for a long time before parting away. Cecilia took her pajamas into the
bathroom and made sure to close the bathroom door behind her.
Christopher left the large bed for Cecilia and took the smaller one himself.
The two beds were placed side by side, separated by a nightstand in between.
He leaned against the head of the bed and looked toward the bathroom.
Even though the sound of running water was much quieter after passing through two closed doors, it
still disturbed his thoughts.
Suddenly, his phone rang.

“You better have something important to say.”

that Kenton has some information about Juliana. I’ve already sent it to the police station.”
Hearing the good news, Christopher’s icy demeanor softened.
“What was it?”
“Kenton has helped Juliana scheme against a girl trying to get close to William and used some
underhanded methods to undermine her competitor. He has some recorded phone conversations,
which I’ve handed over to the police. It won’t be difficult to prove that Juliana was the mastermind.”

Christopher said, “Ceci, go and get the hairdryer from the dressing room. I’ll help you dry your hair.”
