His Rogue Omega: Chapter 97.

“We have some shifters staying in Midsey at the moment, Fraction sent them.” I glare at Rowan over
my coffee cup, “what’s that look for?”
“Why is Fraction sending shifters here when he ran off leaving us high and dry.” I can’t keep the
bitterness out of my voice, I still can’t believe that Fraction actually ran off back to Swiftmane.
“He sent them to join Everfur, they are both trained warriors. Unattached males and looking for a
change of pace.” Rowan glances down at his notepad, “Stuart and Ben, they are just waiting for you to
invite them onto Pack land so that they can say their pledges.” I just nod my head, I’m not going to turn
down warriors but at the same time I’m still suspicious of Fraction and his motives.
“Fine, I’ll meet them when you get back from dropping Elle at the airport.” Rowan flips his notepad and
runs his finger down it. It’s been a few days since we had an Alpha and Beta meeting so I bet there are
loads on the list. –
“You need to speak to Sophie. Eric wants to leave for Texas before The Elders get here. From what I
understand they are pretty pissed at him,” looking at my watch I see I have a few hours until the school
lets out.
“I can speak to her after school,” lifting my coffee cup I stare into it realising I’ve already drunk it all.
Sighing I slam the cup down on my desk a little more heavy handed than I meant to.
“You alright?” Rowan shuffles forward on his chair with a look of

concern on his face.
“Just tired, Eva has been a little,” I pause trying to think of the word. “Demanding. She’s all over me
lately which is amazing but Goddess I am knackered.” Rowan chuckles before closing his notepad and
jumping up from the chair.
“I’ll head off, I want to check in with Heath, he’s setting up patrols to keep an eye out for Jeremy.” I nod
my head as I yawn loudly and lean back in my chair, “take a nap Alpha. If I hear anything about Jeremy
or The Elders, I’ll let you know.” Alone in my office I lean back in my chair and close my eyes, my
phone ringing has me groaning loudly and blindly feel around the desk for my phone.
“What?” I grump into the handset without opening my eyes or sitting up in my chair.
“Goddess, I know that sound.” Sitting up in my chair and I pull the handset away from my face to see
Fraction’s name written on the screen. “Let me guess, Eva has you gaming her brains out as often as Têxt © NôvelDrama.Org.
possible?” I glance at the door making sure it’s firmly closed, I have no desire to be screamed at again.
“How can you possibly know that?” I ask him quietly.
“Anna was the same with Thomas and Aurora. Every spare second I had I spent inside of her one way
or another, it will pass once she hits the second trimester. In the meantime I suggest energy drinks and
lots of carbs.” Fraction chuckles down the phone, “I wanted to let you. know that Thomas heard The
Elders have packed up and are moving towards you.”
“So what three, maybe four days?” Pulling a piece of paper towards me I quickly scribble the time

and I know I need to tell Eva, Rowan and Heath.
“Did you get the warriors I sent?” Fraction sounds nervous which I’ve never heard from him before, he’s
normally so sure and assertive.
“Rowan said they are just waiting on me, I’ll be going to meet them later today. Everything good with
Darryl?” I know he said something about Darryl going through some stuff and I also know that’s why
Darryl raced off before as well.
“Not really, he’s been challenged for Alpha five times this year alone.” I suck in a breath, it’s rare for a
challenge to happen, five times is just unheard of. “The Elders have given him an ultimatum, mate and
create an Heir or step down as Alpha.” Dropping my forehead into my hand I shake my head at their
stupidity.
“Darryl is a brilliant Alpha and leader of the Pack’s why the hell would they do this?” Darryl was just an
Alpha Heir when I met him but he’s been an Alpha of one of the biggest American Packs since I was
about sixteen. At the time he was one of the youngest Alpha’s to rule a Pack and he held it with an iron
fist and a patience I’ve never seen from an Alpha.
“He is, Jefferson and Lewis are trying to talk him into mating someone. but for now all we can do is
keep our Packs running along so he doesn‘ t have to worry about anything.” I nod my head even
though Fraction can’t see me, “that being said, since Darryl doesn’t need me, do you want me to come
back? Send more men? Is there anything I can do?” Fraction fires the questions off at me lightning fast,
I think about what Eva said about dealing with this together and being a team.
“Me and Eva have this, if I need advice I’ll call you so Darryl can deal with his own shit.” I feel Storm
nodding his head in approval, he agrees with dealing with this ourselves instead of relying on another
Alpha.

“Alright, call if you need me.” Fraction disconnects the line, putting
my phone down I wriggle in my chair and lean back, closing my eyes I try to relax my body.
