“If not you, then someone should stay near Ethlyn to pamper her and take care of her.”

“Fineeee!!! I get what you want to say.” Calvin mumbled and grabbed the coffee that Caroline passed to him just the way he liked. “Thank you, Caro.”

“Great then. I will ask Brandon to fill some sense and idea in your mind.” Sophia chirped.

“Seriously, Mom?” Calvin scoffed. “I don’t need dad’s idea because I might not have done this before, but I definitely know how to pamper a woman,” he added, rolling his eyes.

“Hey, you, Tee!! Bring breakfast for Ethlyn and me in my bedroom with the pills.” Calvin ordered.

“Add ‘PLEASE’ for forget about it.” Tiara fired back angrily.

“Why will I say PLEASE? You should be thanking me that I’m allotting you some work so that you won’t gain more weight. You already look like a baby elephant.” Calvin mocked.

“You’re so dead,” Tiara said, carrying a knife in her hand.

“Calvin, Tee!! Oh god, I have given birth to animals, not humans!!” She said, shaking her head in disbelief.

“Well, that’s true, Mom. They both are indeed half animals.” Caroline said, laughing at the scene in front of her eyes. Calvin was the most mischievous kid of all, and he always used to get into a fight with Tiara and sometimes with Liara, but Colton and Caroline used to ignore his stupid comments, which he used to anger others.

Calvin was about to enter his room and had just opened the door when his phone rang; he saw the name on display and received it immediately. “Hello Tessa, my darling!! How come you called your lover early in the morning.” He flirted with his favorite writer, who was a woman of his mother’s age. He closed the door, walking away from there instead of disturbing Ethlyn’s sleep because of his conversation.

“God!! You and your cheesy lines!!” Tessa Bale laughed. “I called you to ask whether you’re free tomorrow evening.”

“Tomorrow evening?” Calvin mumbled and realized that by then, all his family members would be gone. “Yes, I’m. Why? Are you planning a date?” He teased her.

“Yes!!” Tessa laughed. “There is a dinner at Jame Waititi’s house, and you’re invited there with all your family members. Since I’m the bridge between you two from the beginning, so I’m inviting you on his behalf.”

“Sure, Tessa. Rose and I will be there.”

“And also the mother of your daughter because of whom you ditched us in the middle of the meeting.” Tessa Bale said.

“Oh, okay.” Calvin agreed, and after talking for a while, he entered the room and found Ethlyn awake but staring at him with anger.

That was because ‘Hello Tessa, my darling!! How come you called your lover early in the morning.’ This sentence was playing in her mind. Obviously, she wasn’t expecting him to pamper her after fucking her mercilessly, but at the same time, she wasn’t expecting to start her day after hearing this sentence.

Ethlyn was sleeping like a dead person until she heard the name of some other woman from Calvin’s mouth. Her ear rose up like a rabbit’s to listen more of the conversation, but she couldn’t because Calvin had left from there. She thought to get up on her feet and follow him to listen to the whole conversation, but her body was aching so badly that she couldn’t even sit on the bed. Both her wolf and she was extremely tired as if some bulldozer had run over their body.

“You can sleep for a couple of hours more. I’m sure you must be feeling tired.” Calvin said after checking the time. Ethlyn didn’t say anything about it and started to sit on the bed but failed when Calvin reached near her and helped her to sit.

“You need food so that Cinder can heal you as soon as possible,” Calvin spoke, and out of nowhere, he carried Ethlyn in his arms. “What happened? Why are you glaring at me?” He asked, but Ethlyn again didn’t say anything.

‘Please don’t tell me that she is mad about last night. I hope not. What happened between us with consent and being an adult that shouldn’t be a big deal for her.’ He thought, and when Ethlyn didn’t reply to him even after a while. He did something to get her reaction.

“What the… put me down,” Ethlyn yelled at Calvin, trying to hide her naked frame from Calvin. “Put me down, Alpha Calvin.” She shouted again. Calvin grinned, finally getting a reaction from her.

“I said, put me down,” Ethlyn said again, but Calvin ignored her just like she did to him previously. He made her sit near the bathroom sink. “Why did you bring me here? I’m asking you something. Why are you ignoring me?” She demanded when she observed him looking for something. He got a new toothbrush from the shelf. He lubricated that brush with a small amount of water and put a small amount of toothpaste on the head of the toothbrush. He passed the toothbrush to her.

Ethlyn didn’t touch it; instead, both her hands were busy hiding her breasts from him as if he hadn’t seen them. But he commented on that. Calvin sighed before getting a towel and made her stand on her feet with the support of the sink.
