Hunters were using silencers in the gun because of which no one couldn’t see what was coming next. Moreover, they were also trained hunters, not just mere humans against supernatural creatures.

Werewolves tried to dodge the bullet because they could watch them coming, but Calvin covered Roselet with his large body because she wasn’t that quick to escape the bullet neither could her eyes see that coming. Damian came in front of them to take the bullet that was for Calvin to save them. He howled in pain and fell to the ground, turning into a human. But that didn’t stop him; he again stood up and took all the other bullets from his body.

In the end, he collapsed on the ground and died then and there. A lone tear escaped from Calvin’s eye when he felt his death through the bond. All the others wolves howled loudly when they saw Damian dead and ran toward those hunters to rip them apart. Soon, the other wolves joined them soon. Lemieux ran toward Calvin.

‘Alpha!!! Join the war. I will…’ Lemieux was speaking when he felt someone behind him and turned around only to find whole family members and also relatives of Calvin popping out one by one because of Caroline’s teleportation power. ‘Ah. This is going to have fun.’ He thought. Caroline quickly ran near Ethlyn.

“I’m taking them with me.” She spoke, looking at Roselet, who had hugged Keanu in fear and was crying at the same time.

Keanu nodded his head and pushed Roselet with his head. She was his weakness, and her presence over there wouldn’t let him fight with the enemies because the whole time, he would be worried for her.

Colton couldn’t kill his own people, i. e., hunters, not when they weren’t doing anything wrong by killing werewolves; his sword wouldn’t allow him to go against hunters. So, his work was to dodge all the bullets & arrows that were coming toward werewolves with his sword.

It looked like the whole hunters of that area started arriving there after a while with multiple weapons.

“Step aside!!!” Colton ordered, holding the grip of the sword’s hilt, and hit the ground with the point of the blade, bringing an earthquake over there. The land started parting away, and hunters started falling inside it.

“He is a supernatural hunter, a human with powers almost like a supernatural creature.”

“He has Alexander’s sword.”

“Who is he?”

“His face is covered with a mask.”

Those hunters were definitely not prepared for this. And the moment Caroline teleported with Ethlyn, Roselet, and Damian. Calvin got up on his paws, and all he could see was red, thinking of the state of Ethlyn, who ended up taking the bullet in her head to save him.

Keanu threw his head back and let out an ear-piercing howl. He was raging as the only thing in his mind to destroy the whole clan of hunters. He joined his pack members and family members next in ripping out the head of the hunters.

Both Calvin and Keanu could feel the pain that Ethlyn was feeling because of the one-sided bond. They were busy killing their enemies to distract his mind from the outcome of the bullet that hit Ethlyn’s head.

Any attack on either both ‘Heart and Head’ could lead any wolf to its dead.

Soon a witch from the hunter’s side joined the war, who had always helped them with her spell. That was the reason werewolves smelling and hearing power couldn’t work in that area.

First, she gave a pain similar to a migraine to everyone, giving of which everyone howled in pain except Colton, who remained unaffected because he was blessed with the power that any kind of magic or spell wouldn’t work on him.

So, a lot of hunters attacked him to keep him busy so that he wouldn’t be able to help those werewolves. While that witch increased her spell of Calvin’s brain to kill him by blasting all his veins, after all, he was the leader, and once he would be dead, his pack members would run away on their own.

“How about picking someone of your own size?” Caroline asked with a smirk, joining the war. The moment she used her against Caroline, Caroline absorbed all her power inside her. The pain those werewolves were feeling stopped when Caroline absorbed almost all her powers.

“What happened? Why do you look so surprised?” Caroline asked with a sly smile on her lips.

“What are you?” The other witch asked in shock.

“Siphoner, if you have heard the name,” Caroline replied, attacking her with her own power and throwing you away from there. She watched one of the wolves of the pack ripping her head out of her body. She looked up at the sky and started observing power from the sun and then started throwing fireballs at the hunters.

In the next second, the battlefield turned in Calvin’s favor again, and he swore not to leave any alive who was present there or came there to fight with them, who were the reason behind Damian’s death and Ethlyn’s state.

The little boy watched this with his own eyes. He was scared and was crying at the loss of his members. The scene around was hard to look at, with dead bodies and blood tainting the ground and trees everywhere.

“You should leave from here, boy,” Caroline said when she found him hidden under the ground. He looked at her in fear and pointed his dagger with his shaky hand toward her.

Caroline smiled at his state before speaking, “I won’t hurt you, but if you will stay here, then you might get hurt.”

“Come here; I will take you from here.” She said, forwarding her hand toward him, on which he shook his head and kept crying. “I promised Rose that I would keep her friend safe, so don’t worry, I won’t harm you.” She repeated again, and that was true.

When Caroline was about to leave after admitting Ethlyn and Roselet to the hospital, Roselet requested Caroline to keep her friend safe who got stuck on that battlefield.

Hearing this, Hunter reached near her, really hoping that she wouldn’t hurt him, just like Roselet mentioned earlier. Caroline carried him in her arms and teleported herself to the other side of the battlefield.

“Go.” She said, putting him on the ground. Hunter looked at her for a while and then ran away from there.

After half an hour!!

‘Alpha, let’s return back to the pack.’ Zordan mind-linked Calvin. ‘We found out the identity of the hunter’s leaders. David just informed Reva of his name and also that they ran away from here with his family members already.’

‘We can handle them later.’ Zordan suggested because Calvin was so pissed that he didn’t even want to spare anyone. ‘Luna is injured, and your presence near her will strengthens her wolf to recover as soon as possible.’

‘Ethlyn!’ Keanu whimpered, thinking about her. She was in this state because of him. Neither did he bring that witch into the pack, nor would Roselet have got a chance to meet her, and all other things that followed behind wouldn’t have happened.

He knew he was under a spell because of which he thought Chloe was his mate, but he couldn’t give that as an excuse for the insult and hurtful things that he said to her. That also reminded him of his conversation with Colton, he looked around in search of him, but he was nowhere to be found.

He needed to reach Ethlyn first before apologizing to his brother sincerely, not to forget Ethlyn was also on that list.
