The Omega's Sweetest Revenge

24. The Marking Process

CHAPTER 24: The Marking Process

LILIAN GRITTED HER teeth when she realized that her wolf was itching to touch him the moment he

laid her eyes on him. Her hand balled into fist when she saw that his gaze went down to her neck

where the mark is. His brows furrowed but then he clenched his jaw when he saw the blood dripping

out from her mark.

"This visit is so sudden. You want to get my daughter so bad, huh?" Calista said in front as her brows

raised a bit, looking at Alpha Karius with her taunting expression.

Meanwhile, Alpha Karius remained calm even though he was slightly intimidated by Calista, the alpha

of the Midnight Pack. He heard so much about her pack and it was all a good thing. All that he could

say is that it was a nice pack despite the bad rumors circulating about their she-wolf Alpha. He's not

really against the fact that it was ruled by a woman. The only thing that he's concerned about is the fact

that they have Lilian... now his mate.

He couldn't believe that the woman that he had been loving for the past years is his mate now. But he

needed to fix everything between them first. He wanted to start a clean slate with her since he intended

to keep her forever. He wanted to clear things up between them and most especially, to apologize to

everything that he had done before.

"Yeah. I'm desperate to get her. My wolf is aching to be with her already..." He replied calmly, not caring

about the fact that he admitted that he's desperate to have Lilian with him. But inside his head, he knew

that it's not only his wolf that's aching to have her... even him. He missed her so much... her skin and

her natural smells. All of her.

But on the other side, Alpha Karius couldn't help but to get confused. Daughter? Is she referring to

Lilian? He couldn't understand.

"That's not my decision to make. Whether my daughter likes it or not, you should respect her decision,"

Calista replied calmly before turning around and now looking at Lilian. "What's your decision, dear?"

she asked.

Lilian sighed as she thought thoroughly about it. If she will be back in the Moon Stone Pack again, it will

only just remind her of all her hardships before, all the pain that she had been through. She wanted her

revenge. And she will not be able to do it if she's not going there. She needed to overcome all the

traumas in that pack in order to execute her revenge.

"Can we talk about this first, please?" Lilian said to Calista as she gestured to her to go back inside the

mansion. "Wait here," she told Alpha Karius seriously. He just nodded and watched her get inside with

Calista.

"Dear, you don't have to feel pressure about this. If you still don't want to get close to the pack that had

hurt you before, then you don't need to go with that man," Calista said gently as she held her arms.

Lilian shook her head. "No. I want to do this. I want to show them that I'm no longer the weak Omega

they used to know."

Calista sighed. "You can't stop me from worrying about you, dear..."

"Don't worry about me. I can handle myself. I'm strong now." She smiled at her gently.

"I know. But we can't really predict what would happen next once you stay there. I... I was just scared

that they would hurt you again. I'm your mother, Lilian. No matter what you do, I will support you but I

won't forgive myself again if something happens to you again there."

Warmth wrapped in Lilian's heart when she heard what Calista said. She gets what she feels but she

needs to do this.

"I will take care of myself..." she told her.

They fell into deep silence after that but then Calista looked at her then sighed again, thinking that

Lilian will not change her mind again. So... Calista gave in and nodded her head.

"Fine. I'm letting you go now. But once that he will hurt you again, I'll go there by myself to get you

back. Remember that, dear..." Calista said coldly as they both headed out again, meeting the serious

gaze of Alpha Karius.

Lilian looked at him. "Fine. I'll go with you," she answered seriously, making Alpha Karius smile a bit. It

was obvious that he's happy about her decision.

"Let's go, my Luna. Let's go back to our pack..." he said that almost came out as a whisper before he

extended his arm to Lilian.

Even though she was hesitating, she still accepted his hand and felt his warmth that sent electricity

down to her spine.

AS SOON AS THEY stepped on the familiar ground of the Moon Stone Pack, memories immediately

flashed in Lilian's mind. She stared at the wolves lining up to welcome them with her most serious

expression. She could familiarize those wolves who humiliated her before... those wolves who threw

rocks and eggs at her and wished her to get killed as punishment for something that she didn't do.

She smirked when she saw someone who suddenly looked down when she laid her eyes on her, like

she was too afraid to even meet her gaze. Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.

"T-The Alpha is back together with the real Luna!" someone shouted as they all suddenly bowed their

heads at them as a sign of respect.

Lilian secretly smirked while looking at them all. She couldn't believe that the same pack who caused

her pain before is now bowing their heads in front of her now. Everything has changed now. And she

will make sure that these wolves in front of her will know her real stand in this place now. She's not the

same weak omega anymore.

Alpha Karius remained emotionless as he guided her on her back. She didn't even look at anyone from

the pack and they just directly went inside the mansion. When they got inside, memories came back to

her mind again. The interior of the mansion changed. The design became more modern this time, like

the design a year ago has been erased and now replaced.

The helpers of the main suddenly rushed towards their direction and bowed their heads. Lilian even

saw Nadia, the head of the helpers in the house. Nadia seemed uneasy when she saw her, making her

suddenly want to burst out in laughter.

Everyone who sees her seems like they saw a ghost. Their reaction is priceless!

"Do you need something?" Alpha Karius asked her with his most gentle voice. She just smiled at him

fakely. The house annoyed her to the core but she can't do something about it anymore. This will be

her new home as she takes her own revenge.

"Nothing. I just want to rest now," she answered nonchalantly.

He nodded. "I'll ask a witch to see you. My mark on your skin is becoming more visible now. It's better if

someone will check on you," he said with his most concerned tone. Lilian could tell that he's also

worried that he saw blood on her mark earlier.

Lilian didn't reply to what he said. She hates how he sounded concerned now. He shouldn't be this way.

She just nodded at him, not wanting to have more conversation with him anymore. She's not yet in the

mood to interact that much with everyone here. She's still not feeling well.

"Nadia, please take my Luna to her room. I'll just ask the witch that will check on her." He commanded.

Nadia just nodded and replied, "Yes, Alpha."

Later on, Nadia took Lilian's things and guided her to her room. Lilian tried to meet her gaze and smirk.

"So... you're still working here, huh. I bet you still remember me."

Nadia didn't say a word but it was obvious that she's becoming even more uncomfortable as they reach

the room on the second floor. She just smirked at her as she followed her to the room where she's

supposed to stay.

"Enjoy your stay here, L-Luna..." Nadia said, stuttering her last word before bowing her head a bit and

stormed out of the room.

Lilian's smirked became wider on what Nadia acted. She scanned the whole room and raised her brow

a bit. This is the room where she was supposed to clean before... when she was accused of something

she didn't do. This is the room where... Gianna occupied before.

She scoffed. She wanted another room so she reminded herself to ask for another one later on. For

now, she wanted to continue her rest after the long ride earlier. She didn't notice anymore that she

already slept in tiredness, not noticing that Alpha Karius came inside with the witch who will check on

her mark.

"I'm worrying about her mark. I could feel that her body is being somehow weak even though it's not

really supposed to happen. It should be the other way around, right?" Alpha Karius asked the witch. It

was Penny.

As far as Alpha Karius knew, once two wolves undergo the mating process, they will feel stronger.

That's what he felt after marking Lilia. He knew that something had changed inside him after that.

Penny on the other hand couldn't help but to tear up a bit upon seeing Lilian again. Penny couldn't

deny the fact that she's happy that she's here now but even though Lilian is asleep, she could feel that

something has changed in her as she observed her heavy breathings while sleeping. Her brows

furrowed when she realized something.

"Nothing's wrong with her, Alpha Karius," Penny said when she saw her mark. "The marking process

wasn't completed yet. You marked her but she didn't give her mark to you. You both need to complete it

as soon as possible or else..." She sighed.

"Or else what?" Alpha Karius couldn't help but to feel nervous.

"Her body will slowly deteriorate... and will die later on."
