The Last Ceo’s Deal

The way to power

A DEAL WITH THE CEO

CHAPTER 69

Christine.

For some reason I thought I think I’m dead, am I in heaven already?

I raised my hands and reached for my phone firstly to be sure I’m still alive but I couldn’t feel any lamp stand. Instead, soft hands wrapped my wrist and tucked it back to its initial position.

I snapped my eyes open at once and fluttered my lashes to be sure of where I was.

The ceiling was all shaded of ice blue crystals dancing around with the reflection of the sun.

The fragrance from the sheets is out of the world as I inhaled slowly and exhaled. I tried to get up but I felt a sharp pain slice through my head and I winced.

“Easy.” His warm voice flows through and he helps me sit up and I’m forced to look at him.

Fanuel.

The memories came rushing like a storm and I fling my hands away from him, staring at him like a ghost.

This.. this guy here is a devil and I’m not ready to get myself burned by him.

I remembered the accusations, the slaps , lashes and disgusting stare.

Tears welled my eyes blinding my vision and I realized I’m in his room.

The blue color design explains it all.

I jerked up from the bed at once still wincing in pain as I held my head and hurriedly wore my crocs to flee out from this monster.

“Christine please…you’re still unwell.”

“Stay away from me please.” My voice was barely a whisper and I realized the drip was still connected to my veins.

Without warning, I carefully removed the syringe attached and the plaster to hold it firm.

I turned on my heels but he held my wrist softly but firmly.

“I don’t care if you feel like stabbing me but you need to eat something to take your medications ..…I will send Laurel over or Diana to stay with you later but now, there’s no one around. ”

He said softly as if in pain and I could see the sincerity through his eyes.

I wish I had a choice right now, I would lock myself away from him.

I still need my health to fight for my rights and power. Staying close to a wife beater isn’t my idea of fun right now.

I released his grasp from my hands and went straight to the bathroom without permission.

I’m so over with shit!

That little naive and calm wife was thrown out of the window cause I won’t sit back anymore and be used or punched.

I will fight to be free from these strings and shackles of confinement.

I’m taken aback at the aquatic view of the bathroom.

If I hadn’t seen this in soap operas, I would have screamed my lungs out right now from the big shark swimming freely under my feet.

How can a bathroom be this larger than our sitting room back at our house?

I stared at the bath tub and jacuzzi, confused about where to stand before resigning to take the bathtub.

I stripped, carefully not to brush my wounds before sliding in the warm water which relaxed every tense nerves on my skin.

I sighed before reaching out to take the hair shampoo and squirt a large amount of liquid to wash my hair.

Mehn!! This smells so fucking good.

After spending a few more minutes in the bathroom, I stepped out and wrapped his towel which stopped just below my thighs.

Reality dawned on me as I had no clothes to wear except to go to my room but my clothes were lying beautifully on the bed when I entered the room.

My cheeks flushed red when I saw my underwear and bra. Did Fanuel actually rummage through my wardrobe to bring this out?

I pushed the silly thoughts aside and wore them quickly before he came around peeking.

A soft knock on the door made me whip my attention to the door.

“Come in.” I said and rolled my eyes knowing how awkward I sound.Content rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.

It’s his room for crying out loud.

He wheeled in a mouth watering dish drilling with ketchup and my stomach rumbled at the aroma.

I realized how hungry I am and dig on food without any care in the world.

He tried to say something but he chose not to, he entered the restroom and shut the door close.

I’m a light eater but I surprisingly ate such a large amount of the dish served, maybe it’s the antibiotics kicking its function.

Holy shit!! This guy came out looking like a water God with water dripping all over his hair and face.

His milky skin..

No I’m not doing this…. checking him out again and swooning over nonsense.

I stood up and wheeled the tray out when his voice stopped me.

“Christine…. your medicine.”

I simply passed and took the medicine I carelessly dropped to get the hell out.

“Christine…

” Fanuel, can you just get the hell out and leave me alone!” I spat with disgust.

His calm and tender voice means nothing to me anymore. It irks me when he looks at me with warm and sorry eyes.

“You can hit me if you want but please just get out and let me be!!”

I retorted harshly and left the room feeling irritated by his cute stare.

“You need to rest more, it will let the….”

“I know.”I cut him off before he completed his statement.

He was dressed in a pink tuxedo looking like a K pop actor with his hair all curled and wavy. I could see deep lines of confusion on his head and he exhaled, almost in pain.

His phone rang that minute and he picked without hesitating.

” Mirabel.. where are you? ”

I felt blood drained from my skin at that bitchy name.

I don’t know why I’m feeling so flushed and angry right now at the fact he’s going to see Mirabel even during work.

He couldn’t even apologized for what he did and he’s still fucking around.

He cut the call with a sigh and I stared at my phone not meeting his gaze.

“I don’t mind you getting mad at me forever, I would go crazy if anything bad happens to you again. Just stay put and give a call if you need anything.”

I ignored him and watched him leave while I clutch the card tight to my belly.

I brought out the card in view and read out the names swiftly.

“Kayla Anderson”

I punched the numbers on my phone as I called the only woman who promised to show me the way to power.
