Fanuel’s Pov cont.

I bawled my fingers tightly into a fist and stared at her figure with disgust.

No wonder my wife’s mood was sour, for a moment in my life, I regret getting acquainted with Mirabel. I wished there was another way to save the company, she would have been the last choice.

“Baby.” She rolled over and stared at me, smiling sheepishly.

“Why are you here?”

Gosh!! I’m so mad right now that she came here without permission. Who gave her the audacity!

“I figured out that I would soon be your W..”

“Figured what? Did you inform me?”

“What if one of the press members or media saw you here and splash it all over the net?”

“It wouldn’t be bad babe, why are you getting worked up over something we’ve agreed on?”

“I never agreed on you coming to the house.” I practically yell at her.

“I was going to come anyway…as your wife!”

“Until then, you shouldn’t have come. I still have a wife for crying out loud.”

“Oh please spare me that Fanuel, it’s high time you threw her away for being useless. I will pay what her father stole from you. It’s okay, I’ll just send my accountant to do the needful at your office today. Just come to me.”

She said and tried as much as possible to be sweet. Paying what Webb owed me came as a surprise for me! Paying Billions? Just to be with me? How far can this girl go for me when I don’t give a fuck about her?

I sighed and tucked her hair by the sides of her ear.

“Mirabel…” I cocked my head and rolled my eyes when she literally closed her eyes.

“Don’t you think you’re going too far for me?”

“I’ll do anything for Fanuel, I love you so much.”

“You’re wasting your time Mirabel, you’re beautiful and young with all the resources one could even seek in life. Do something meaningful and get a man that will love and cherish you.”

“Fanuel, I’ll fight to have you.”

“I’m getting married to you because of an agreement to save my company. I’ve never loved you from onset, especially after countlessly fucking my enemy and still lied to my face!”

“I didn’t sleep with Alex!!”

I smiled and cupped her cheeks.

“I know, you didn’t have to mention his name. Even after we get married, I will never love you Mirabel. Just try to understand that.

It’s useless staying here after all, leave first thing tomorrow morning.”

“Never!” She yelled at the top of her lungs and I shook my head.

I took off my shirt and trousers to take a quick shower while she shamelessly stared at my body lustfully.

I hissed in disgust and opened the door to the restroom and let the water cascade all over my body.

I came out and fetched my pajamas to wear while I took my pillow to get out of the room.

She can stay there for all I care.

“Where are you going Fanuel, don’t tell me you’re going to sleep with that bitch!!” She yelled and I rushed back to hold her neck tightly.

“Call her bitch again and I will choke life out of you right away.”

She choked and coughed while I released my grip and pushed her off .

I went to the guest room and slept off, getting pissed at everything.

I cracked my fingers and neck, yawning and stretching my legs to infinity.

It was dawn and I called my secretary to take care of my schedule as I won’t be going to work.

Mirabel and Christine staying together isn’t a good idea at all.

I dragged my leg to the room but halted on track as I saw a somewhat familiar face.

“What’s she doing here?” I asked Mirabel not to break my eyes off Diana who shamelessly stared at me from head to toe.

“She’s working for me, my personal assistant.”

“I don’t give a trash about that, why is she here?”

“I…uhm came to see Christine, I’m just surprised my boss is here.” She stuttered innocently.

“Christine is still sleeping, you can leave now.”

“You’re been harsh, Fanuel! She stays.” Mirabel yelled and I scoffed before staring at Christine’s room entrance.

I wonder how she is as I leave those two, something tells me they were up to no good.

What’s stopping me from throwing Mirabel out is her Father.

She’s a world wide figure and my name and company will be tainted, I must look for something huge to make her leave willingly.

Christine was all sprawled on the bed and she looked up at once before throwing her head back.

Her eyes were baggy and puffy and it only meant one thing.

She didn’t sleep throughout last night.

“Nightmares?” I asked and she nodded, feeling embarrassed.

“You threw my pills?” She asked slightly disappointed and I twitched my lips and nodded.

“Yeah, I don’t want you to live on drugs Christine. You can try to sleep…without that.”

“On what grounds? Why will you throw my pills away when I didn’t ask you to?”

“As your husband. Happy now? Go take a shower and prepare for breakfast.”

“I don’t want to, I’m not hungry.”

“It’s not a suggestion, it’s an order Christine.” She sighed frustratingly and bit her lips.

“Stop doing that” she raised an amused stare and climbed off the bed, going to the mirror while I watched her behind and getting all turned on as it jiggled.

I’m definitely not myself when I stay close to this girl.

I stood up to head for the kitchen when she held my hand.

“Is Mirabel staying in your room?” She asked, biting her lips as if she asked a stupid question?

I wrapped my hands on her slender waist and pushed her closer to my body.

“Do you want her to stay there?”

She swallowed and stared blankly, blinking her puppy eyes at me.

“My shirt is still in there and I don’t want her to use it…. I don’t want her to…gosh! I’m so stupid right now ” She said and gave palms herself nodding her head in disbelief.

“Forget I asked. ” she blurted out.

“If you don’t want Mirabel around, just say the word.” I inhaled the crook of her neck and she sighed.

It’s how I can’t hold back myself from holding her anytime we’re this close.

“Say the fucking word and I’ll make it happen…. for you.” I whispered in her ears and she shivered.

While I draw invisible circles on her shoulders.

“I want…” She sighed and stopped before looking up at me to tell me the words that threw me off guard.
