The Invincible Arthur Gardner

Chapter 72 - Keys of Enchantment

Chapter 72 - Keys of Enchantment

Arthur attentively studied the chords on the tablet, and immediately a melodic tune began to play in his

head. With only a single glance, he seemed to effortlessly recall each and every note, as if he had

heard the song before.

His memory had sharpened to the point that he could easily remember any information he was

exposed to or had learned with just one look. His mind could quickly process data and construct it into

a conclusion, providing him with a wealth of knowledge he could access readily.

Arthur delicately placed his fingers on the piano keys, as if he had an innate understanding of the

instrument. His familiarity with the instrument was evident; it seemed embedded in his memory, and the

muscle memory of his fingers. Every song he wanted to play seemed effortlessly achievable. His

fingers moved with incredible grace over the keys, like they were under some kind of enchantment.

"Get ready to be amazed once again by our proud boss, Benno," Alpha said quietly, his eyes wide as

he gazed upon the man in stunned admiration. NôvelDrama.Org holds text © rights.

Benno, taken aback by the anticipation, replied, "Wait. Don't tell me that he can play the piano and sing

too?"

Alpha shook his head, a smile tugging at his lips as he replied, "Not only can he, he's like he was born

to do both things. He surpasses even the professionals who have probably been training for decades."

"No, this is unbelievable," Benno declared, his mind whirring with amazement as he thought back to

Arthur's earlier display of driving skill. "I'm still not ready for what I'm going to witness after this. Is it

okay for me to have high expectations for what our boss will show?"

"You can expect as high as you want," Alpha said confidently, nodding slowly, "and the boss will do

things that are far from your highest expectations!"

Arthur began tapping his fingers skillfully across the keys, and suddenly the room was filled with a

calming and heavenly sound. It was almost as if a divine force had enveloped them, providing a

soothing embrace to their hearts and souls.

"What is this?" Benno exclaimed in awe.

“I'm on a mission to reach my dream.”

“Though I stumble and fall, I will never give in.”

“My heart is strong, I will never give up.”

“I'll take one step at a time and I'll never look back.”

Instantly, tears welled up in Claudina's eyes as Arthur sang the song she had composed specially for

him. Singing a duet with Arthur was the most amazing and delightful experience she had ever had in

her life. Yet, hearing Arthur perform solo and savoring it from the audience seats was no less

marvelous than all of that.

The orphanage children were captivated by Arthur's soft and melodious voice, as though it had

mesmerized them. "It's really beautiful," they uttered in unison.

"Oh my god, Oppa. How am I supposed to live and breathe after this without me being around her,

after seeing all the amazing things she's showing like this?” Alicia said softly in amazement.

"Sure, you're always exaggerating in response to something, aren't you? Alicia?”

Edna responded with a warm smile, and even she herself admitted that she often went too far in

praising Arthur. Because even word of mouth could no longer express how valuable and amazing

Arthur was in Edna's eyes.

“I'm gonna make it to the top, no matter what it takes.”

“I'm gonna give it all I've got, I'm gonna take the lead.”

“I'm gonna reach the stars, I'm gonna fight and never stop.”

“I'm gonna make it to the top, I'm determined to succeed.”

The notes on the piano quickly escalated in tempo, and Arthur sang the next line of the song perfectly.

His harmonious melody on the piano created a captivating sound, leaving everyone in awe and unable

to utter a word.

“I'm gonna grind and I'm gonna strive.”

“Gonna fight for what I know is right.”

“I'm gonna stand for what I believe.”

“Let nothing stand in my way, I'm gonna make it to the peak.”

The musicians who had previously played the piano to accompany the event that night shook their

heads simultaneously in amazement when Arthur managed to play the piano and sing the song so

perfectly.

"I wouldn't be surprised if someone said he is someone who is only born once in a million," one of them

declared. "Once in every hundred years, he is absolutely perfect."

"Yes, his piano playing is flawless," another commented. "I even imagine my fingers would stiffen if I

tried to imitate how he plays the piano a little."

"It's absolutely perfect, even beyond that," a third added.

They exchanged sentences of praise and disbelief at the sight and sound of Arthur's performance.

“I'm gonna run and I'm gonna climb.”

“Gonna move forward until I reach the sky.”

“I'm gonna work hard and never give in.”

“Gonna make it to the top, I'm gonna win.”

Arthur really belted out the song with great emotion. He could sense how perfectly Claudina had

crafted the song just for him.

Arthur opened his eyes and saw Edna, Claudina, and Alicia in the distance, cheering with their

enthusiastic faces. He could see Alicia waving her hand and calling "I love you, Oppa!" toward him.

Arthur smiled, feeling the warmth of the room, and then looked around at the other people in the room,

who all seemed to be enjoying his piano playing and singing.

“I'll take all the risks, no matter what comes my way.”

“Give it my all, no matter what they say.”

“I'm ready to fight, no matter the odds.”

“I'll never give up, no matter what comes in my path.”

Arthur's fingers moved gracefully and nimbly across the keys of the keyboard with great precision,

playing the closing melody of the song without a single mistake. He then turned to the audience with a

smile and invited them to join him in singing the song's last line.

"Let's sing the last line together!" he said.

Arthur's fingers slowly and gracefully danced across the keys, and the song and music faded away

soon. Everyone in the room was transfixed, almost as if they were hypnotized.

Suddenly, Alicia stood up and clapped her hands loudly, jolting everyone out of their trance. Everyone

applauded, showering Arthur with their highest appreciation for the most remarkable performance they

had ever seen in their lives.
