Chapter 203 Shannon Is Furious

Chapter 203 Shannon is Furious

Shannon couldn't believe what she had just heard. Brendon was asking her to go back and rest, without even offering to escort her?

"Brendon, can you at least walk me back?" Shannon pouted, "I'm a little scared."

When Brendon didn't respond, Shannon bit her lip and grabbed his arm. She twisted her body and continued to pout, "Brendon! You promised!"

Brendon frowned and turned to Ranita, "I'll take Shannon back first."

As they left, Ranita packed up her things and went into another room. She had barely laid down when the phone rang.

It was Brendon calling but she ignored it. The phone rang again but she pressed the button once more... as if out of spite.

Finally, the doorbell rang outside with Brendon's deep voice calling out, "Ranita! Open up!"

Ranita was annoyed as she threw down her phone and opened the door.

"What do you want?"

"Get your things together; come with me," said Brendon as he took hold of Ranita's hand.

She tried to pull away from him but he held on tight as he walked inside.

"I want to live alone," said Ranita firmly. But before she could say anything else, Brendon pulled her into his embrace from behind with both arms wrapped around hers. His hot breath tickled against

earlobe as he asked, "Are you angry?"

Ranita pursed her lips tightly together in response, "No."

"Stop denying it! You're so angry you could burst!" Brendon straightened her body and playfully poked her cheek with his finger. "You're pouting!"

His finger tickled her skin a bit.

And it seemed like some of the anger had deflated.

"I'm not angry! Miss Murphy came all this way to see you, so you should take care of her first!"

As soon as Ranita finished speaking, her lips were kissed.

He kissed her passionately, without reason or method, a bit hurriedly, with a hint of indistinguishable annoyance.

"Let go of me!" Ranita blushed and gasped for breath from the passionate kiss.

Brendon rarely blushed, and even during intimate moments, he always maintained a cool demeanor, making it hard to tell if he was emotionally moved.

He looked down at her, his gaze deep. "I didn't know Shannon would come... You must have seen what happened online. She got caught up in it and came here feeling upset."

"I've already asked Julia to buy her a ticket. Julia will take her back to Kurima."

They were here on a business trip, and since the matter wasn't resolved yet, they couldn't leave immediately. As for Shannon, being a public figure, she couldn't just appear without any protection. It wouldn't be good if something unexpected happened.

Ranita's mood improved slightly.

"Really? I thought..."

"What did you think?" Brendon raised an eyebrow and Ranita hit him playfully.

They had been married for three years and had some unspoken understanding between them.

Brendon cried out in pain, "You hit me again!"

"I just lightly touched you! It doesn't hurt!" Ranita didn't use much force, this man was just pretending!

Ranita smiled, her eyes shining like stars.

Brendon chuckled softly and pinched her cheek. "Are you not angry anymore?"

"I'm not angry!" Ranita was like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, glaring at Brendon. "Don't say that."

"Right, right! You're not angry! Can we go back now?" Brendon realized that Ranita was easy to please. As long as he said something sweet to her, she would smile at him.

Suddenly, Brendon's heart surged with uncertainty. Maybe after three years of marriage life together she still had some feelings for him?

"I don't want to move things! I want to stay here!" Ranita didn't want to move back because Shannon would definitely come looking for them and she didn't want to see Shannon flirt with Brendon again.

Wait a minute! After thinking about it for a while, Ranita gritted her teeth and decided that moving back was the right thing to do!Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.
