Under the table, Justin clenched his slightly trembling hand, his gaze dark and deep. Tm fine. Dr. Amaryllis, is there something you need?"

Clarice smiled gently. "Mr. Justin, did you forget? Chairman Salvador instructed me to stay by your side whenever possible to closely monitor your health from now on."

"Even so, Dr. Amaryllis, do you not understand the most basic manners?" Ian internally rolled his eyes, exasperated. "Even if you're here to look after Mr. Salvador's health, the CEO's office isn't a place just anyone can enter. Do you normally act this rudely in front of Mr. Grant too?"

Clarice didn't get angry. Instead, she smiled faintly. "Every profession has its own standards. I don't blame you for saying that, Mr. Harris, since you've never worked in this field. But if something goes wrong because no one's around when your boss falls ill, would you be able to handle the consequences?"

Ian was so furious that his chest hurt, and he clenched his fists tightly. Ever since Grant brought this inexplicable woman back, all the peace and harmony had been shattered!

The current Justin was different from before. To him, all women were the same now. In this sensitive time, Clarice was seizing the opportunity to get close. If she stayed by his side long enough, who knew what might happen? Couldn't proximity lead to affection?

He thought, 'Young Madam, your husband is about to be stolen!'

"Ian, go get me a cup of coffee." Justin showed no interest in their bickering. He lowered his head as he continued flipping through the documents.

Grinding his teeth, Ian replied, "Yes, sir."

Clarice's eyes darkened slightly, and she smiled faintly. "Mr. Salvador, do you like drinking coffee?"

Justin nodded. "Mm."

"I'm also good at making coffee. Next time, I'll make some for you."

"To date, I haven't found anyone whose coffee tastes better than my girlfriend's." The moment Justin blurted that out, his heart inexplicably pounded.

A vivid memory came to him-the mornings after moments of intimacy with Bella, when she stood in the kitchen, lightly dressed in her nightgown, humming a tune as she made him coffee.

Bella had always looked so adorable and at ease. A ray of sunlight shone on her delicate face, and he could not help but wrap his arms around her slender waist from behind, pressing a kiss to her flushed cheek, savoring every inch of that moment.

-"Justin, will you love me forever?"

-"Bella, I love you... I will always love you."

In an instant, Justin felt his usually steady heartbeat skip almost imperceptibly. He inhaled deeply and corrected himself in a low voice. "I misspoke-ex-girlfriend."

"Ms. Thompson... There's no denying that she's quite a talented woman, Clarice said softly with a smile. Leaning in closer to him, she added meaningfully, "But drinking the same coffee for too long can get boring. Sometimes it's nice to try a different flavor."

"Dr. Amaryllis, don't you think you're meddling too much in my personal affairs?" Justin finally raised his eyes to look at her, his gaze cold as ice.

Clarice smiled coldly to herself but remained composed. She took a few packets of medicine from her bag and placed them in front of him.

"These are medications I've prepared for you, Young Master Justin. They specifically target your current symptoms. You can try them for a while. If they don't work, you can stop."

As Justin reached for the pills, Ian walked over with the coffee, glaring icily at Clarice.

"Mr. Salvador nearly died because of some unknown drugs. Do you think he'd just take whatever random concoction you bring?"

Ian's implication was clear-he suspected the medicine was problematic. This woman, after all, was Grant's personal doctor. Even though Grant had done Justin a favor, they could not afford to be careless!

In families like theirs, there was no familial love. Look at the Iverson family-it was just the opposite of love! Clarice chuckled arrogantly. "I understand your concerns, Mr. Harris. But let's not forget that back then, Mr. Grant risked his life to save Mr. Justin. How many brothers in this world would go to such lengths? If Mr. Grant had selfish motives, wouldn't it have been easier not to save him in the first place?"

Ian fumed, but what she said was the truth, making it difficult to retort

Justin's eyelids fluttered slightly, and he pressed his thin lips together.

"If you're worried about the medicine, or if you doubt Mr. Grant's sincerity, go ahead and take these pills to be tested. If anything's wrong with them, I'll take them myself."

Clarice appeared completely unbothered, fearless, and composed.
