The Cherished Wife

Chapter 281

Chapter 281

Only then did Noelle react. “Wait! You’ve been off work for so long, but I haven’t cooked!”

She suddenly realized it and had a guilty look on her face. “Why didn’t you remind me earlier? You’ve been busy all day, and I was at home doing nothing. You don’t even get to come home to a hot meal!”

“Silly girl.” Charles touched Noelle’s face and pinched her cheek. “It’s alright. Change your clothes, and I’ll take you out for dinner. We can also pick out a gift for Grandpa.”

“Okay!” Noelle grabbed Charles’s hand, stood on her tiptoes, and kissed the corner of his lips. “Then you change your clothes too. We’ll head out!”

Charles‘ eyes twinkled with amusement as he touched his lips and followed Noelle

into the walk–in closet.

Visiting Sebastian was indeed a bit of a hassle. It was not that Charles was afraid of anything, but the timing was a bit early. However, it was not a big deal.

He never intended to keep their marriage a secret from everyone. Noelle had her reasons for wanting to keep it quiet initially, and he did not want to force her.

He watched Noelle’s back and smiled as she held up two outfits in front of him. Charles, do you think this one looks better or this one?” Noelle asked with a smile. Which one should I wear?”

“They both look good!” Charles‘ eyes sparkled with amusement, but Noelle was not satisfied and gave him a playful glare. “I can only wear one!”

“Then wear this one.” Charles pointed casually to one outfit. “Wear this one for dinner tonight and the other one tomorrow when we visit Grandpa.”

He took the other outfit and put it back. “Hurry and get changed now.”

Women loved looking their best and hearing compliments, especially from their husbands. It would always make them happy. Noelle was not a vain woman, but she still enjoyed hearing such pleasant words.

After changing, Noelle spun in front of the mirror, adjusting the tags. She noticed Charles had also changed his clothes. “Charles, is Saint Di your own brand?”

Charles raised an eyebrow. “Why do you ask?”

Noelle chuckled. “I’ve been meaning to ask long ago. Since I moved into Phoenix Tree Residence, I haven’t shopped for any clothes. Apart from what I brought, everything in the closet is from this brand.”

Charles laughed. “Yes, it’s under Collosus. There are counters in all Collosus malls, but not many people know that.”

As he spoke, he picked up a tie, his eyes twinkling with a hidden meaning as he looked at Noelle.

Noelle squinted at him, took the tie from his hand, and resigned herself to tie it for him.

Standing on her tiptoes, she wrapped her arms around Charles‘ neck, lightly exhaling as she said, “It’s not that I’m complaining, but your hands are working just fine. Why do I have to tie your tie? Before we got married, you tied it yourself!”

Charles chuckled softly. Noelle raised an eyebrow and looked at him askew. “What? Did I say something wrong?”Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

“Since we’re married, isn’t it a wife’s job to do this? There’s a saying that if a woman ties her man’s tie, she can bind him for life!”
